hatchy:
I love Dre.....

He is the most respected music producer and performer.

I remember back in the days in 1992 precisely when he released "The Chronic"....that album was the bomb and still rules the airwaves till date.

"Dre's Day" featuring Snoop Dogg and a host of others like Natty Dogg, Easy E, Korupt, Waren G.

He played the gangster game with brain and smartness, never involving in drugs or murder unlike Tupac who wasted his youthful life in gangstarizm.

Few years ago he was declared by Forbes as the richest rapper in the US.

"Been there, done that", "California Love by Tupac, "Natural Born killer with Ice Cube, "Still Dre"

Dre is almost 60 years of age, yet he looks younger...doesn't age.

I love you Dre....
Well I guess loosing his brother to gangstar shit affected him. I thought IceCube and the rest promised to be his brother forever after his lil Bros death during his first tour.

RomanceRe: My Dilemma: My Girlfriend's Confessions. by greatbrian(m): 6:18am On Oct 29, 2019
Logan95:
Good day house.

I meet my girlfriend recently in school, she's an undergraduate student while I'm a post graduate student.

She is a very beautiful girl and well endowed. For the few months we've dated she's one of a kind. She has a good heart, buys me stuffs even though I'm not poor, cleans my house and relates well with my sister to mention a few.

However she told me about her ex, she loved him and supported him financially because he was a student and broke.

We have been going smooth until this night she decided to tell me her past without me asking. She said I am too special but I have to know who she truly is.

She started by saying she's had two abortions for her ex, that she slept with many guys for money which she eventually spent on her ex. I was dumbfounded and I'm in a dilemma now. She just said I should forgive her that I don't deserve her.

I don't know how to tackle this majorly because she confessed without me asking and she did all these before I meet her.
Seriously I feel the ball his in your court. You should do what you won't regret later on in life. If you guys end up and you realise she's having issues giving birth, I hope you won't become hostile towards her. I met a teenage love of mine few months ago and I try rekindling the love. We spoke about our past even though i have little to no past. she's a graduate now and am not one yet. And when I asked her about her baggage, she's t0ld me she had 3 abortions all for the same guy. (So the guy is trying to leave her for me after enjoying everything. Kolewerk) I was shocked and I asked her what she will do if a pregnancy comes now, she told me the baby still have to go. (Obviously she still needs some church). I knew her baggage is too big for me to handle so I just find a way and end whatever we are trying to build. am not mature enough to marry her and be waiting for kids. CoZ I will always feel insecure that her past his catching up with her.

My point z this, if you really think she's a changed person, and you can make do with her baggage without rubbing it off on her somedays should in case you guys have delay in childbirth (dz if you end up) well, hug her and work something out. But if you feel your mind z too noisy like mine and you can't make do with it, just let her go instead of allowing stories that touches the heart. Moreover, she came clean to you on her own. And if am you, that ex and her should be totally separated coz a wise man once said if you are trying to avoid and forget your past, don't keep friends with shovel

Let Deji prove that the money in the bullion van belongs to someone else not Tinubu

There should be a limit to sycophancy. Stop selling the future of your unborn kids in exchange for a few likes from mentally destabilized individuals like you on Nairaland. The future seems loom for Nigeria and folks like you and ngpatriot are making it harder with ur unguarded utterances. I pity your kids who will take after your intellect. TravelRe: Car Kills 4 Children In Benin, Residents Set It On Fire (Photos) by greatbrian(m): 4:58pm On Oct 26, 2019
Shibaraba:
Break failure na one of the disadvantages of driving a car. E dey happen anytime even amidst regular checks. E pain me say the driver was just unlucky to kill the kids. Kids that shouldn't be selling by the roadside in the first place. May their soul rest in peace. My problem is why burn the car? As burnt offering? Or it will resurrect the dead? I just tire for my country people.

During my hustling days In Ibadan I managed to buy one Toyota Orobo. Master brake had issues I repaired instead of replace. The day wey ogun for kee na the day wey the brake fail. On top molete bridge I was going to beere. Match brake na fuuushhaaaa I hear. I begin to shibaraba santaribobo in tongues even though I know say the prayer no fit answer. Because na olosho I dey carry go drop for house and I no give her chingbain. I give her solid lamba with intention say as I drop I go zoom off. Brake fail I started thinking fast. Beere road is everyly busy. If I keep on people go die. One solid canal dey there. I been wan try James Bond jump out of motor after steering the car towards the canal. As I dey think am I see one very sweet god sent Micra dey drive out from nowhere. I no think am twice..... Skrrrrrree gbosaaaaa. I hit the car men. For my mind I was like we go settle am. Nobody die. The man came down. Me see come down but as sharp man I Don lie down dey beg already. E joor sir. E joor sir. The man anywhere he dey God go bless am. His micra had iron guiding for back. He just looked at his boot saw the little damage. Turned to me and said, "Now you're a man", and drove away.

I was shook visibly. Enter motor start am e start. Thank god. Match brake e work. Match am again e work. Olosho was nowhere to be found. I just turned around, drove home, parked by the road and put big pangolo on the car. Wetin I buy no go kill me.

Bottom line... 1.Check your car regularly.
2.If anything needs to be bought to fix the car buy.
3.If eventually brake fail find inanimate object ram and pray for the best.
4. No carry Ibadan olosho. If you carry pay her well.
Lol. Been rolling on the floor

BusinessRe: Hausa Man Refused To Sell Beans To A Woman After She Tried To Cheat Him by greatbrian(m): 8:32pm On Oct 23, 2019
heendrix:
Funny enough Kaduna people are not real Hausa people so sorry bro you got swindled by men parading themselves as Hausa men

plus if you got a bitter experience in states like Kaduna or Kano there is no difference btwn Lagos n that side. the real Northern people / Hausa are in kebbi gombe, bauchi, Sokoto etc
Which kind kaduna pple r not Hausa pple. Only southern Kaduna pple talking of (kafancha, Kudende, kachia) are not Hausa. They are more of Bajju, Gbagi etc. northern Kaduna are basically Hausa's talking of Riga chikun, Zaria, Jaji and all those villages you meet on your way to zaria or Niger. So don't come to argue what z not. And if you check my other post I mentioned what happened on my visit to bauchi.

BusinessRe: Hausa Man Refused To Sell Beans To A Woman After She Tried To Cheat Him by greatbrian(m): 12:58pm On Oct 23, 2019
heendrix:
Not really True but still you can't compare that of Northern people to that of Igbo people or Yoruba's plus Kano is just like Lagos the economy hub of the North so expect more cheat from some Hausa guys there not that they grew up with it but they learnt from other tribes who do same there

if you want to live free from cheat or scam and find trust worthy people visit stated like Kebbi, Gombe, Sokoto, Jigawa, Bauchi and Adamawa you'll hardly find things like this there except for those Igbo guys but the funny thing is when they try poo like cheat/scam there they either get beaten to pulp or sometimes killed. that's why other tribes behaves themselves anytime they're there
OK I don't HV strength to type. But HV been in the north since 10years of age and I can tell you categorically HV been to almost all states in the north except few. I still got swindled by a bike man in bauchi last December. Went to the game reserve with some of my course mate. And when entering bauchi, we lost our way and we hailed a bike to direct us there while we drive behind. He charged us triple the price coz we were naive and even took us through a longer route.

And like I said earlier the Muslim religion and northern Culture has a lot of good effect on the northerners. That's y they rarely cheat except the bad ones Also the Christian religion and western culture talking of odu IFA has a lasting effect on the Yoruba's that's y they hardly cheat unless the bad ones.

My point is forget the fact that a tribe don't cheat. If we open a thread about Hausa's swindling people you will be shocked at testimonies of people staying in the north. Been a cheat is not about tribe its about the individual believe. I respect your school of though please respect mine.

Modified:

I once opened a thread about how some folks I tried helping Stoke and cheated from me they were all Hausa's and can't even communicate in English. I lost my wallet etc to them. But Allah ya isah

I am a Yoruba too and I’m speaking from experience.
Majority of Hausa that will cheat you are most likely in the southern part of this country.
You don’t need to be a religious person to know what is morally right or wrong.
Have you stayed in the north?

Read my post again this time slowly and not with the intent to criticise. I said religious and morally blessed.

HV stayed in the north and most of my friends are Hausa's Fulani etc . some of them will swindle you of your money without blinking an eye. And I said its not about tribe or religion. If you are good you are too and if you are bad you are bad. If you are conversant with nairaland or news, you will read about good Samaritans returning folks money in the airport etc does that mean all of them are Hausa's? I remember my first time going to sabo to greet a friend, I took a bus from kasua in Kaduna. It should not cost more than 70 naira but the conductor said deri de hamsin .dz 150. I stupidly paid him coz I didn't know the price. There was also a time I entered Kaduna late around 11 was coming from lag and resuming the second DAy. I was going to a course mates place in Angwan rimi from ABC bus park in Station roundabout (if you know Kaduna well, you will understand the distance) . the keke I hailed told me his collecting 5k .coz its night and I can't really get anoda keke easily. I was close to been stranded I had to beg him to 3k. A journey that should be below 300 naira.

My point is if you are good you are good forget tribe, religion and stereotype.

EducationRe: My Experience Teaching In Zaria by greatbrian(m): 12:28pm On Oct 23, 2019
Op be more careful. I stay in zaria too most a times. Close to ABU in Kongo. Be very careful with those kids.

They only let them know what they want them to know not what they should know. Its not brain washing, that's how their culture HV been watered over time. After my secondary school in sabo was in zaria while waiting for my Ssce result and I took up teaching to make time fast. It was there I realised why the north is the way it is. Those kids only know what there parents and leaders want them to know period. And if you go against that well, dead men tell no tales. And am sure some of the parents will still be looking out for you in town

An average Hausa man will never cheat you. QED
Sadly , Same can’t be say of other tribes.
Maybe not. an average Hausa man his a very religious man who won't cheat you. And average religious and morally blessed Yoruba or Igbo man won't cheat it as well.

Its not about the tribe its about the individual mindset. I grew up in zaria and HV met lots of bad Hausa men in PZ to Kofan-doka. Those who will take advantage of your naivety and coin you of your hard earned money. I still school in the north Kaduna and some of my course mate who are even Hausa's are just so confused and liars. My point is its not about tribe. If you are good u r good and if you are bad you are bad

Can I get 3applause for this directive.

This is long over due, there should be a mix of native language and lingua franca in teaching.

Some people who are perceived as unintelligent are only like that cos they can't comprehend what is taught in English.

Use mother tongue to explain same thing to them and you will marvel at their assimilation.

I remember a professor at Lasu engineering used to teach us circuit diagram in yoruba, it was all fun but in exam hall, you will hear the yoruba examples resonating over the margins you read all night
You have a point bro but you should know an average Lagos child speaks and can comprehend English but I can't say the same of an average northerner.

My point is if they ain't careful those kids might never be able to speak or understand the official language and when they travel out of there comfort zone they might never get to interact with the outside world.
