The promotion criteria is a very good one, it helps to build a good foundation for those who wish to further their studies to higher level, which i believe very many will do. We all know that no matter how good a school start result seem to be, without English and Mathematics, it's useless. So, it's a good development, if a student can make at least credit level in both subjects while still in secondary school on their own without malpractise(s) of any kind, then, it wont be difficult for them to make it at WAEC level.

Yeah! I applaud the governor for involving youth in his administration, but i dont see the appointment as a legendary, because Gowon was a head of state at a prime age also, i think it was around 30+ or so, and what about Dimeji Bankole? I just hope the trend continues, so that we can have more youths in governance of the country, perhaps, it will lead to the positive changes we desire in this country.

@op, if they're both happy with their decision and they both promise to be committed to their relationship despite their age differences, then, nothing to be worried about. All they need from you guys is 1. Your prayers to be able to see them through their marital storms.
2. People minding ther business and not meddling in their marital affairs.
If these two are in places, then, they'll go far, even beyond their expectation.

In my previous labours,my hubby would drive me and my mom or my MIL as d case may be, stayed 4 a while,only to come back after d baby is born and therafter feel happy and carry d baby joyfully, its not dt he doesnt appreciate me but i wasnt satisfied with d fact dt he has not been there personally to witness it, so i begged him to stay with me in my last labour experience, which he accepted, so on dis d-day, he took me to d hospital and asked d doctor to allow him in d labour room which d doctor accepted but asked him if he has d mind and he responded affirmatively, hhhmmm, u men no get liver o, come and see dis man, even me dt was labouring was pitying him, see d way he was shouting and screaming on d doctor and d widwives, infact, he was just saying rubbish things, even till now i still make jest of him abt dt day, he was just too emotional, words like, "doctor, e rora now"," is she still alive", "eje(blood) yii ti poju o,","pain yii ti po ju fun iyawo mi o" among others are d words he was uttering, and when d baby finally came out,i expected him to be happy, but he was just shouting "my wife, my wife". After d whole exercise, he said "honey, pls, pardon me, i never knew this is what u experience each time u go into labour, i think we've had enough number of children.
My suggestion:
men who dont appreciate or who brutalise their wives should be allowed to witness d experience, maybe, dt will make dm, to a greater extent appreciate dir wives.
My conclusion: men who beat up their wives are not appreciative and are ANIMALS.

Does coming from poor family means the person will also be poor, if not, then why not?? I, personally think character and prospect of the person is more important than his/her family background.

I married my man and he's from poor background, he was also still poor financially then, but very rich in character and prospect, 8+ years now and still counting, i've never regretted marrying him, because we've built ourselves together, we've pooled our resources together, though we aint very wealthy, but now, we are comfortable to some extent, so, op, there is nothing wrong in someone marrying from a poor background, its the person involved that matters.
