Screening aggregate :63.6 %, I chose medicine.
2009 WAEC and from osun.
Meanwhile I know of an osun indigene with 61%aggregate (195 in utme o) that was admitted for medicine
I keep thinking of what gave him an edge over me.
In fact, some1 who didn't write Physics in o'level was admitted for medicine. I've their admission lists and checked the profiles of the names on the list, especially those admitted for medicine and my finding showed that LASU is far from being an ivory tower
====* this is my 5th jamb and 250+ always. As in, I'm confident that I deserve medicine admission.

Here we go again. Is it today that people have been meeting cut off marks and being denied admission? No it has been like that since education became competitive, and everyone sees it as the only means to succeed in life.
But why lie about the person who scored 193 in Jamb but was chosen for medicine? Because a lady did this few days ago and was replied by the rector of school of medicine OAU,doesn't mean Lasu will reply you. Its your 5th time because you have been living in delusion of studying Medicine by force. My friend wake up, choose other courses,you can be anything you want,no matter the course,all you need is hard work and dedication.
Look at Dele Momodu he studied Yoruba Lang,GEJ studied Zoology, he still became President.
There are lots of successful people out there who didn't even see the walls of a University.

The problem am about to lay here concerns my twin sister concerning her recently wrote WAEC GCE Exam last three months ago and as you all know her problem is my problem,we both are in this together. It happen that my sister gained her admission into a University in Benin Republic without a complete O level result i.e she did not have her English with the plan to Complete it before she graduate. Now she's about to Complete her B.sc early next year which made her enroll for the gce exam. The thing is after she's about to conclude her gce exam in Lagos, her school exam calls, which is compulsory and necessary she participate in due to the fact that she's in her finals making her forfeit her remaining GCE papers there by headed to Benin to write her School exam. The result was out so we checked but unfortunately all her result was held this making her down I mean emotionally She's down, this making me feel bad to coz she's not happy. I remembered I have wonderful friends here that will give me reasons why her result were held and also advice me on what to do coz she's in her finals and about to graduate which her O level result will be considered......Please I need ur advice and solutions.

That admission wasn't hers,she took another qualified candidate's place. You need at least 5 credits including Maths and English,among other criteria to be qualified for admission.
She wrote GCE as an undergraduate and yet couldn't pull through, it clearly shows she is not qualified to be in the university.

She had the internet and used it,it worked for her because it got to those that matter, and a reasonable reply was given.
We are talking of Medicine here and OAU,hundreds or thousands must have choosing the same course,many would have the same grade as her but were also denied admission, many will have better grade than her but were also denied admission. They accepted their faith and didn't come online to gain public sympathy, she has been honored by the response of the provost.That's enough.
