That man that changed his password,just immediately the couple refused to give him their Netflix account details is the most immature man I have ever seen or heard of. He is classless
If I am the one,I won't change the password because from the story,the husband was willing to give out the account details but the wife refused. I will leave it because I am bigger than them and bigger than that.
If it was both couple that refused to give out their Netflix details,it shows they are ingrates,I will leave the password but I will not renew my internet subscription for two months. After which I will now subscribe and change the password.

Op,your sister is at fault here. We know already there are scammers online but why make it easy for them? If you go to konga or jumia site,you won't see contact of sellers,only products and prices and reviews. So your sister saw an Ad online,it wasn't on Konga or Jumia.
My last shopping on konga was last week and I got it in 2days after order. I choose pick up location and POD,and it went smoothly.
My last order on Jumia was 2 weeks ago,one of the order came in just 2 days. The other one came 3 days after order but it was not to the exact specifications I ordered. So I took it back to pickup location and returned it. Before I got home I have already got a text and email from Jumia acknowledging the return of the item.
The next day I was called by a Jumia customer care, apologizing for any inconveniences and they promised to refund my money as fast as possible. Like 4 working days after returning the product,my jumiapay wallet was credited with full amount I paid for the product and shipping fees that I was charged. I transferred the money back to my bank account immediately from my jumia pay. I was given free voucher of N1000 as compensation also.
What I'm saying is,don't come online to tarnish the image of a multi national company that thousands of people are patronising daily and are getting good services from,just because of your one bad experience that might even be your fault.

Job Scam.
There are always clues to tell you that you are heading towards the express,but your desperation might blind you. Look at the person promising you the job from head to toe,does he or she looks like someone who has job slots to throw around? Just because a person works in customs doesn't mean he has power to give you a job in customs.
Just because someone works in the bank doesn't mean he has the power to hand you a job,don't be stupid,even a bank manager in a bank can't get you a job in the bank. Only few people in the bank settings have such connections.
Senators have unemployed family members,heads of parastatals have unemployed family members or friends or distant relatives and you think you have a chance because one riff raff you met online is promising you government job?
Those who truly have job to give in government or private sectors like banks are so highly placed,and you won't see them selling jobs. They give out jobs to repay debts or as a favour to fellow rich folks.

Is it safe now

To the best of my knowledge Jumia is safe. You have nothing to worry about.
Few weeks back I ordered Brand new PS3 console and some PS3 CDs. It was delivered in about 3 days. I returned the console same day because it was 120gb instead of 500gb.
I took it to the nearest pick up station and returned it. That same day,I received both email and text notification from jumia that my item has been returned and my refund is being processed.
Next day, early in the morning,I received a call from Jumia apologizing for the inconvenience and they assured me I will get my refund in at most 10 working days. I was given N1000 voucher as compensation immediately.
I returned the item on Wednesday and on Tuesday of next week I got my refund complete.
Nigerians are the ones spoiling the name of these brands. The seller packaged a used console as new,not just that he sent the one of 120gb instead of 500gb.
When I received the package,I checked every items it came with,I checked the system information. Imagine if I didn't check,I would have been scammed.
Julia promised to sanction the seller. Most Nigerians are evil wicked selfish bastard.
I eventually bought a used PS3 from favricc and it came with all accessories. Everything is working fine.

The deceit here is that doing subscription mtn will tell u the data validity is for 30 days, but after subscribing, you will now noticed that part of the data is for 30 days while some part have only 7 days validity, this imply just within 7 days half of the data plan will expire. But mtn will never tell u this

Omg,I just found out now. I subscribed for N3500 /10g b on August 3, I was given 10gb extra. I hardly check my data balance. I just did now and noticed the 10gb(8gb remaining) will expire in 2 days time. What will I do with 8gb in 2days? I have only used 1gb plus for the past 5 days.

Good evening all, I made the above post recently and Nairalanders being kind hearted people quoted the post with so much words of encouragement and also discouraging me from taking any nasty decision. Truthfully speaking, I really need help and it's to start up something to help myself having not been able to secure a job as a graduate. I want to start a poultry farm having had experience about it. My challenge now is raising capital like up to 100 or 150k. There are phishing software that can be installed on computers or mobile devices that saves your user names or passwords of any site you visit. When you are using bank mobile app or website please never log in with a computer that is not yours or phone that is not yours . Even if you clear history, browsers can save your password.
