Wel growing up in Makurdi has made me to give benefits of the doubt to dudes killed by cultists.

I knew over 7 dudes killed during 2015-2018 period who were never cultist. I'll never forget the death of one of my area dudes then who was shot from behind by the gun man (Cultist) @7pm who did not do a proper verification. His neighbour who was he real deal they came for jumped the fence and ran away till date.

The dudes who pulled that hit were remorseful, but too late as the deed has been done.

I remembered in 2005 how i was almost killed at Plaza hotel in Mkd by some touts who called themselves black skulls ( junior ) just because i had a little business in an area dominated by Red skins (Junior Vikings). They assumed that i must be a Red guy to own a business in a Vikings dominated area. Assumption!! Assumption!!!

The best thing that is happening to us as a people is the increase in taxation. The PDP as a party of chopping everything knew that as long as Nigerians were left alone and taxed minimally, they'd never rise up anyday to demand for actual change in the way this country has been governed for decades. Taxing Nigerians heavily is the only way those same foolish youths as you rightly described them will feel the pain of any mismanagement of public resources and eventually rise up to demand for a course-correct for this country. That's why I said you know next to nothing about the topic. Are you aware of the steps government has taken to boost local production?
Apart from your point about reduction of fuel prices (which won't happen), there's a lot government and it's partners have done to increase production. Effects which we are seeing today. There's lots of anchor-borrower programs which people can key into. State governments up north have since taken the leap even before the coming of Buhari with construction of dams for the purpose of irrigation farming to aid dry-season farming of rice.
Advanced rice processing mills are springing up around the country to further improve quality of locally produced rice.
But of course, unless Buhari comes down to till the land for me personally, I'm not going be impressed.

-make it easier For people to be able to get the equipments needed For production
-reducing the price of fuel and making our roads good enough to Ease transportation of goods
-puting a policy down that reduces taxation on Rice farmers all over the country....

This will increase the people Going into the business and in turn increase the supply and we all know that when the supply is much the price will definitely reduce.
