Romance › Re: Should I Send Her Packing? by GreenArrow1(m):
Some of these silly ladies want to guilt-trip the OP into not evicting the lady. All because of what? Free pûssy? It cost from 300 Naira upwards to afford pûssy in Nigeria every day. Let's say the girl's own is worth 500 Naira, I'm sure the cost of staying in the OP's house plus feeding per day far outweighs the value of the vaginà. OP, cut her loose. I'm talking from experience. It's easier for people with messed up lives to fück up yours than for you to fix theirs.

The members don't care o. Leave them like that abeg. Who doesn't know most of these pastors like the rapist-in-chief are fake? They do. Going to these places allow people to identify as Christians but avoid practicing real Christianity. It's like just like acting in itself.

bro the guy pleaded passionately, i thought i should be human.

i will take one step at a time so when he is finally picked up he will have nothing to plead about.

if wadume and evans can be picked up, he is very small for the authorities.

Recall getting his details from the bank cost money.

details of people he transfers fund to more often and those he receives from often

his bank account has address that is not in my state of residence .

am sure you saw his pix that he is a very young man, i see a need to give him an opportunity to be reasonable without incurring further cost.

In total i have spent close to 370k (includes the 220k with him) on this issue and cutting cost will not be a bad idea
It's very easy to make this guy's life difficult. If you can DM me his pics and details, I'll just forward it to the necessary necessaries that he was an integral part of the hit squad from a rival group that recently over-board one of the top-most SM's in this country. He'll be hunted fervently like a bush rat and in 3 weeks maximum, you can check his fb page to confirm the numerous messages his family and friends would be posting on his wall about what a gentle soul he was. If you are interested pls dm. It won't take a minute.

It's not an easy journey o. Takes a lot of wisdom to come out unscathed. Happy that you also switched lanes. A lot of my buddies who were hotheaded back then now work with the DSS. Their lives don straight finally. Majority of those who couldn't get out at the right time now bear the title of Late ... They are gone. It's a waste of time.

Calm down and let us also hear from them. A MOU surely has terms and conditions. If such are violated, then it becomes invalid. E.g you are constructing a road in my village and we have a MOU stating that you will employ 50% of the locals to work. If these people have intolerable disciplinary issues and I sack them, you can't hold on the MOU. bottom line is that don't swallow whole what these people are saying. It could well be because of their selfish interests especially considering how corrupt we are in this Country.
Exactly!

Politics › Re: 2nd Niger Bridge: Host Communities Shut Down Julius Berger Office by GreenArrow1(m):
I talk am say Na money matter. It the kind of stuff we face on a daily. It is important to involve the host community in any project you are executing as a far construction is concerned. However, if they are an unreasonable bunch, it's best to not use them to avoid too unnecessary problems with your project. The way to go about this is to settle the Chiefs in the communities and the youths would have less power. They'll be more motivated to work for pay instead of feeling over entitled.
On the issue of supply, I won't blame Julius Berger for not involving them as I can relate to this currently. The way those who feel they have a proximity to projects inflate prices of materials when they hear it is a Federal Government project would make you just go to the open market and patronize other suppliers on a neutral basis. How can you offer to give me blocks for 180 Naira when the person you are buying it from is willing to sell to me for 127 Naira? Why then should I buy from you when all I wanted to do was use you as middle man so you can get something out of the deal as per host community person? People often forget that construction is purely a business and the aim is to make profit while delivering quality.
Just yesterday I got a call from persons in the host community where I we are executing a project that rain had felled a tree within our site and the branches were resting on the high tension wires thereby shutting off power supply. They now said since it was a Federal Government project, I should come and pay them 20,000 to remove the branches before the nepa guys come to rectify the bridged cables et al. Na me push d tree? I asked. I dey use d light? I told them to mobilize area youths to do that or wait for me to minute our head office in Abuja as per their request and they'll have to wait for maybe weeks before anything is done about it. Nobody told them, they've cut down d branches of the very small tree and rectified their light wahala.
Sometimes the contractor can be unreasonable but wetin we dey see for some of these host communities hand can make one turn into something else.

Dear Seun and his Editors, It looks like the motive of bringing drug related offences, where igbo are complicit, to the front page of your blog is stereotypical to say the least. I have gone through your crime section and found out that other crimes especially those committed abroad involving other tribes are grossly underreported in the manner drugs and igbo boys happen here. This is getting out of hand and we are going to make a serious case out of this. This is calumny of the highest order against a people and has no justification whatever. It is not wrong yo report crime as deterrence to further commission by unscrupulous elements but this is obviously targeted against discrediting a group of people, hence ill motivated.
A fellow countered me by citing example of reports on front page of scull mining and other rituals by predominantly Yorubas to establish impartiality on the part of the reports but you and I know that this has never been like the igbo drug thing and name checking and calling on Nairaland. Mr Seun, this is a kind entreaty, kindly call your editors to order or we are going to make big issues out of this. We may have to start with the mainstream media before seeking redress from appropriate quarters. Thanks
Lol @ seeking redress...
