FFK and his friend understand the core of the matter plus a few nairaland members from what I have read so far. However, majority are caught in the middle because of 'us' vs 'them' syndrome. I sincerely hope and pray that it doesn't happen. But in the event of the U.S. breaching our sovereignty, no body, group, tribe, nation or religion, or region and I mean, absolutely nobody is going to benefit from that occurrence except the U.S. themselves from what they shall loot. The aftermath will be even more unimaginably catastrophic for a country that is the worst recipe for disintegration given its over 50 different nationalities, tribes and doctrinal affiliations. God help PBAT with the wisdom to handle this and profer a Nigerian solution. God help Nigeria. ![]() |
You failed to prove that Islam teaches men to marry daughter out at age 4, or, 6, or 9 or so minor ages. You failed to prove that Islam teaches trading of women for price. You failed to prove that Islam does not give a woman choice in her own marriage. All you do is latch on to what someone does which are affiliated to their customs or some individuals excesses, yet you want to control public opinion. You lack knowledge of what you are preaching about and your mentality is utterly sick. You should change your ways because lyeing against Islam will get you burnt in the end. Kobojunkie: |
Yes you are wrong because it is haram for women to be traded for price. Reason: her consent must be sought for marriage. That is the example that The Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) showed. You cook up lies in your coven against Islam to come and be spreading in a public forum. Kobojunkie: |
The Prophet (s.a.w) had a daughter and he married her off at the age of 19 years old. How do people selling their daughters off at a tender age of 10 or less due to poverty a reflection of the above example? It has also been proven that Aisha's age at the time of marriage to the Prophet can not be 9 (or other tender age figures) as this is mathematically and historically impossible. It is found to be 18. But because the content creator wanted to reduce her video to name calling and mudslinging she chose to stick to the common narrative that was communicated in hadith book. By the way, hadith books are not ordained books of Islam and authors could make numerical errors e.g. recording 16 as 6 or 19 as 9. https://www.reddit.com/r/DebateReligion/comments/105yqb3/prophet_muhammad_%EF%B7%BA_did_not_marry_aisha_ra_at_the/#:~:text=Age%20in%20Comparison%20with%20Daughter,different%20conclusions%20about%20her%20age. The youtuber did not make her research well and was only out with insidious motives to malign a religion due to hate. If you are the content creator, well, you got it all twisted up. Kobojunkie: |
This is a regular occurrence for Muslims communities ravaged by these insecurities. Nobody to amplify their pain and cries. So much dragfooting by the FG on changing the security apparatus of the country. I'm interested in seeing what changes PBAT brings to the table with respect to this banditry once this issue of shake up in the military has been sorted. |
Omoh! Na Yu-S I dey sooooooo ![]() |
Person wey Sabi road don talk. So let him who has ears listen and listen right. God bless Dangote God bless PBAT God bless Nigeria ![]() |
So after coup no work, na the next format be this to disrupt Nigeria. The truth of the matter is that there are more muslims crying for this evil to get wiped out than christians because they loose a lot more people. No foreign government to amplify their cries. Take for example, the agrarian communities that are most affected by these bandits/insurgents, it doesn't matter where these wicked people encounter you, whether in the northwest, north east or north central or in Benue or Plateau or south, the outcome is the same, brutal subjugation and killings. Yet you have more muslim population among these people. Help Nigeria to solve its security challenges rather than give it a religious coloration. I for one am an advocate of anything that will make people feel safe in their states or region. Whether it's state policing or some form of enhanced JTF, roll out massively to curb these evil elements and do it fast. The government needs to understand that it is when they delay on taking decisive measures that they give outsiders room to get in with a one sided agenda. God help us. ![]() |
This report is somehow rendered to favour the terroritst, I don't know why. I would rather wait for a press release from the Military forces. In the words of fPMB, God bless his soul, the terrorists were given a very bloody nose. They regretted making that attempt. God bless the military God bless Nigeria God bless PBAT |
Nice job Hundeyin. Please put him away asap. We need calm in the society from the distractions of these non state actors. ![]() |
The policemen conducted themselves properly and acted professionally even when Sowore was dictating the conditions for his arrest and teasing the officers. That should be commended as well. ![]() |
Well done Governor. Empower your people to take on these animals. Establish an organised state backed framework and turn the heat on these criminals too. Once they are put on the defensive, they can not hold on for long before disintegrating. How on earth will you be negotiating with terrorists as being done in the core north. It is absurd and it gives a sense of collusion with the bandits. |
Antoeni:Can't you see the state that she is in already? If they kpai her now, you'll simply move to another thread and move on. Why not pray the law enforcement agents are able to reach her and resolve this one way or another instead of wishing a life that is practically on the line away like that? Why are we this wicked to ourselves? Is it by force to drop comment? ![]() |
HisSexcellency:In fact, it's as if the kidnappers are online and also monitoring the sympathy she is getting thereby making them to raise their demands. So again, if they are that open, why can't they get tracked and arrested? |
Hand go soon touch this Sowore. All he does is set the country on fire anytime there is relative peace, then runs to America to continue fanning the embers from there. ![]() |
He was peacefully removed too madam. You could hear him say that he would soon be back, so no need to complain. We can't have people constituting nuisance in our streets on a Monday morning. ![]() |
Highly industrialised nations battling to fill up human voids resulting from industries bathed from their blossoming innovative ideas whereas in Nigeria, it is a new lakurawa terrorist group every week. A whole entire population are in captivity as we speak. Hmmm! na way!! ![]() |
IBB007:You've said a whole lot with this one liner. God bless you abundantly. There are extremists quite alright, but why not deal with them as the criminal that they are? Now foreign interests are trying to make it look like these extremists only target christians even though more muslims have died as a result of their activities. This is what happens when you drag foot in addressing a menace. Why is state/regional policing being delayed? It is well. ![]() |
I am very happy to hear this delightful news. God bless the Nigerian Army! God bless Nigeria!! God bless PBAT!!! ![]() |
Lagos is really trying. Its inhabitants are the most elite in the country. They always find a way out of every economic challenge that is bedevilling the country without relying too much on the government of the day. And this is the more reason, why I want Ibadan to be granted a state too. So that this melting pot of industry (Lagos) can be extended all the way to that huge and hospitable city (Ibadan) in order to spur Nigeria to new heights of developmental achievements. |
This is very sad and heart wrenching. Kidnappers even have the audacity to record and post victims videos online while their nefarious activity is still ongoing? Na wa o. ![]() |
Reformist modern scholars want us to rush and pray Asr at 3:40 pm to 4:15 pm max as against the other traditions that favour delaying it further, make us unable to wait to take advantage of this valuable period anymore because the world we live now has become even more fast paced, thereby also making us disappear from the mosque or the place of prayer long before 5pm and then miss out on this golden opportunity which comes even later. Turns out that the (gentle) group of people they love to dismiss, as sufi, uphold this tradition better as they have well defined programs or disciplines to gather themselves or indulge in zikr at this period. Seems we missed it at some point right before now. May Allah help the ummah, ameen. ![]() |
Establish state police with a strong support structure. We have seen enough blood in the land due to insecurity. Grant Ibadan a. state, so that it can be developed rapidly without the baggage to carry the entire Oyo state along thereby accelerating the prospect of connecting two huge metropolitan cities in a not so distant future. Please complete the Sokoto - Badagry and the Lagos - Calabar highway projects, they will be monumental achievements. Allow workers to have more than a one-time, currently allowed, access to their pension funds. It can go a long way to navigate some challenges such as this economic reform period. Support Dangote refinery at all cost and encourage similar efforts also. |
Is this victory for the people or victory for the military? I hope they won't have to cry blood to get civilian rule back in the times ahead? ![]() |
This one over loud gan! Who needs IMF/world bank loans with their stringent rules again with this one? Should we not be commending PBAT for this? This is unprecedented, I stand corrected. ![]() |
Sorry about this unfortunate outcome Sir. The pressure up there is massive to be honest. Even with the criticisms and all, we understand that the load is hugely burdensome. May Allah make a way out for you Sir. Ameen. |
The year is 2025 for God's sake. And we are still having ASUU strike? This cycle never seems to end from generation to generation. Chai!!! ![]() |
Please I'd like to know under which law, or rules or whatever is it accommodated for an airline passenger or a group of passengers to move this amount of money for it to be considered outside of money laundering? Cushion: |
Simple. Allow what works to keep working. Encourage competition to provide alternatives in order to break monopoly. Not to be weaponising unions to destabilise the economy. |

Kukutente23:Yes he was invited. And that's exactly how it happened. Now, it's clear many of you are not aware of the history behind Palestine. ![]() |
