Election motivated wars. If care is not taken this election may lead to a serious uprising in nigeria |
FaceTanke:Can genetics do that |
general111:sundays are entirely free. Fridays are not |
Candidlady:Why please |
OdefaGirl:It is part of the muslim faith to remember death all the time. Our prophet (saw) instructed us that if we wake up in the morning, we should not expect to see the evening and if we meet the evening, we shouldnt expect to see the next morning. We should prepare for death and be aware that the real life is the hereafter. This world is just a test for humankind. I don't know why this message always meet christians like a hard rock. Christians know that this is the truth. You see it everyday when young, old ,healthy , sick, busy, rich or famous people leave this world unannounced. But somehow; you just manage to still deceive your mind into thinking death is peculiar to others and not you. This is something your logic can tell you is true. I will die (when i don't even know) why is this something so difficult to understand. Even the 90 years in question passes like a jiffy. No one can determine or postpone death to a convenient time. It is not in our powers to. In fact, it is worrisome that an adult should sound like this. So if you are told to take up arms to fight boko haram today or bandits to create a better country for our younger ones, you will likely refuse because you want to live till 90? The soldiers who are doing it, dont they know about 90 years too? Death is in your food, your water, your sleep, your beautiful car, death is inside orgasm even. The sweetest or the most scarry things in life also offer death. Many have died from things they took delight in. It cannot be negotiated. You just dont know your time. It is not far. Infact, the probability that you will know the name of the 6th president to rule Nigeria after buhari is less than 10percent. Your WhatsApp groups of over 200 secondary school classmates will soon have less than 10 people and consequently two people left one day. Do you know who that last person will be? No! But you think its you. So does every other member of that group. They all think its them too.

7 Ayojb:You had better started investigating what you are doing on earth here and what the right thing to do is instead of telling yourself that you can speak 100 years of existence. You have no say in this matter. God can call you at anytime so stand guard with your soul. |
doncarson:your speech is quite a fullish one though. Being rich or poor is not an indication of God's existence or not. Prophets were tested with hardship. Trials and bliss are all from God and He decides |
OdefaGirl:Hmm... my dear.. stop deceiving yourself. Even your pastors die unnoticed. You had better started preparing for death by remembering it everyday and acting right. Pay up debts and have a will. Just in case it comes up. I repeat... death is certain and you are not promised even the end of today. You are not more pious than the people in the graves |
OdefaGirl:Who promised you that? Many people in the graves today also thought they'd grow old. |
God1000:This type of thing can't be wholly relied on. He can switch off at anytime |
Escort him to ease himself how |
Baitullah:And she was fathered by one though. |
Anonymoususher:So you wrote all this epistle without stating categorically the negligence or structural failure that occasioned you with all that expenses. If this was an English essay exam, you would have scored 12/100 |
VeeVeeMyLuv:Well... i served in ogun state. Ago-iwoye precisely and most of my students in ss2 and ss3 could not solve addition of fractions. I basically found my self teaching them all of that instead of preparing them for waec. |
Slap you still collect transport fare. I grew up in benin sha so pardon me if i think this combination of events is strange. |
Is prostitution legal now? |
Kollyman:Are you a representative of arm pension? Their customer service is the worst i have seen and i now have to cone to nairaland to look for arm pension representative to talk with. How bad can it be. This is after writing emails and calling all their customer care numbers to no avail. Again.. this is too low for such a name and i would never recommend arm to anyone. |
fennels007:Like seriously! I'm not understanding. How did he pull this off and no one knew? |
GiveYourBest:by emotions it belongs to the actual owner. But by law, your property and whatever is in your property belongs to you. And that is why you won't call the owner into your compound to sweep the leaves that fall from it |
rickpat:That's not it. The principles of moving money in bullion van jas it that the riders do not have access to opening the doors. They're locked inside it at the point of take-off and opened when they reach their destination. |
The life we live is very short compared to the life in the grave and in the hereafter. One moment we are alive, the next we are relocated to the graves. There is no God besides Allah. And Muhammad (saw) is the last prophet |
This is what ignorance produces. There's a grave in benin i used to see those days that was typically a house. It had windows and light. Cant even recall if it had ac. How foolish can people be |
No one cares anymore about October 1st like before. People have lost faith in the country. The youths are angry |
Moneyboyz:Your arguments are still like the constitution example i gave. There's one type of English exam i do enjoy A sentence is made and options are given to pick the most logical inference from the sentence. Who says there will be no arabian inhabitants of hell fire. Who says Muslims do not have to learn the tenets of islam in order to practice it correctly? Who ever said a sin is not a sin when it is done by an arabian muslim? You keep moving in cycles when you refer me to arabian movements, slavery, khashoggi and what have you. It still doesn't oppose the truth about islam |
Moneyboyz:If you cannot go through the rigors of reading to educate yourself then at least bow out of the stage where people discuss Qur'an humbly. You shouldn't be the one to talk authoritatively about Qur'an without the requisite knowledge of the seerah, the tafseer, the azbab al nuzuur of the Qur'an, and i can bet my fairy tooth if i had one, that you know nothing about any of these other than beer parlour information which never suffices for facts as backed up by history. Be humble. Learn to ask questions humbly because in the end, you will definitely return to these things we are arguing about. And at a time you cannot do anything about it. It doesn't require the intelligence gathered from beer parlours. It is knowledge based and you may be too bias or not objective enough to expose your mind to facts that are preserved by history. You will turn away from anything you cannot comprehend instead of asking questions and bridging the gap between what you know and what is reality. One poser for you. If islam dictates that people should pray, fast, go to makkah, kill, and enslave others, it would be banned in the west. But big shocker! Islam is the fastest growing religion in Europe. Islamic knowledge is sought in havard University. All these would not be possible if islam were as you think of it |
Moneyboyz:You are not in a position to interpret quran especially because your approach to such interpretation is always replete with bias and a deliberate decision to misconstrue what you understand of it. Quran is studied and interpreted by scholars who know the occasions of revelation of those verses and how they do not apply to the layman view you will definitely offer. Rather than make a long screed out of this, I will refer you to a post on nairaland on this issue. If you are actually an objective person, read through it and you will see how it answers all the questions of the supposedly murderous versed you want to pull up. https://www.nairaland.com/6802937/islam-not-judged-activities-criminals#106742423 This is a healthy read and i am sure before you go through the discourses and disputation, you would have gotten a good grasp of just how badly sentiments and bias distorts facts and intellectual procedures for investigating historical events. There are beer parlour discussions and there are intellectual discourses. The intellectual ones often yield results, while the other never does. |
Moneyboyz:The truism of islam is not measured by the attributes of Arabians just as the content of a constitution is not read off the conducts of those who are governed by it. Otherwise it would be logical as well to conclude that since many Nigerians have been found guilty of internet fraud and drug pushing, then it holds true that Nigerian constitution protects an individuals right to defraud foreigners and sell hard drugs. That is the same logic you are proposing. Even if Arabians smoke, fornicate, bomb or hold people hostage, do these conducts necessarily align with the dictates of the islamic religion? Especially where there are no biases? |
Moneyboyz:Death is way beyond our ability to comprehend. The person who we see dying by fire may in reality not suffer more than another who dies in the sleep. The pain or ease of the soul leaving the body is a function of Allah's pleasure with the person. If the dying man has wronged his soul by not believing in the oneness of Allah and the prophethoood of Rosullulah (saw), and proceeded to being one of the arrogant ones who commit all type of sins, then even death in his/sleep will make no difference because the angels of death extract the soul with violence. It is the onlookers that think the death is peaceful. It may not be |
