thewatcher2020:
“The Africans were big on the slave trade”

The lies these set of deluded western citizens tell themselves every night to go to bed in peace.

That said, until we realize that the west cheated Africa through and through before we can start talking about combating migration and issues like that. The wars in African nations today aren’t fought with bows and arrows but with super firearms produced and supplied by Europe and America waging proxy wars against the continent to continue to deplete its resources without hindrance.

The state of Africa today with the puppet leaders is enough reason for any sane African to want out. It’s sad that this is happening to the African child in 2019. A continent filled with more resources than it can consume but perpetually down-throttled to enable the west stay on top.

Africa divided along religious/tribal lines is the worst legacy of colonisation. Can we have a debate on how ALL whites should vacate Africa and all blacks who willingly travelled to the west should vacate same? This conversation is beyond what I can sit down to type at a go but trust me, Africa can be fixed if 60% of its citizens are willing to damn the consequences and tackle this issue head on. A 50 year plan would definitely yield results in mid century from now if action plan is strategically put in place to check the excesses of the leadership.
Stop blaming the west please. They'd do whatever benefits them and your dear Africans will do the same if not worse if they were in their shoes.

Africa should grow above this blame game and fix the damn continent. Take Nigeria as an example, is it the west that voted for a senile, octogenarian with nothing to offer?
Everything west, while Asians are busy growing. If China which is like the most hated countries (by the west) is growing, we have no excuse.

I taya for the matter...

Once again I am a strong advocate for very strict visa procedures and screening for "NIGERIANS" going abroad.

Once the visa process is adequately monitored, the quality of Nigerians abroad would be law abiding and well behaved. One of the main reasons why a majority of Nigerians in Australia are not miscreants is due to the fact that they passed through very selective and thorough Visa procedures.
I doubt if these ones have visa. I went to venice and had to use the airport at this same place called Treviso.
Saw so many Nigerians and I avoided them like a plague. They looked more like hungry touts and street urchins. Sometimes I don't blame the Italians because if I had that huge number of immigrants contributing nothing to my country but sitting like time bombs of violence waiting to explode, the way I'll treat them will make them term me racist.

I wonder how women there feel safe. I even had to clutch my back harder and closer to myself.

Roads wear out because users like me and you are making use of it. The toilets are messed up because students make use of it on daily basis. How wrongly were they using the toilets? Were they supposed to eat the paper after using it or clean after themselves with their hands?. By the way we are talking about Government own school here. Sir, do you clean after yourself after using Government airport toilets or any other Government owned properties?.
You said Government should not waste money on cleaners. So why not tell the school management to return the money they have been receiving from Government to pay cleaners?. And also let the students go to school for free so that they can make out time to clean after themselves instead of wasting time on hustling for school fees and hostel money?.
Has Nigeria Government done to her citizens the same thing Japanese Government did to thier citizens? Am talking about providing citizens with needed infrastructures?. Which discipline do you want to instill on people you did not provide enabling environment to practice disciplined life?.
Your line of thought really amazes me. How much does it cost to fix a dilapidated road that probably begins to wear off in maybe 6 years?

Now compare that with how much it costs to fix toilets that won't need fixing at all if everyone will just be sensible and clean it after usage.
If you'd prefer the govt renovate toilets every 3 months because of a bunch of irresponsible adults or for them to pay cleaners to come slave for students, I'll just ask if you're willing to be one of the cleaners.
Those toilets will be blocked with all sorts of things, messed up, and probably vandalised even by those same students with or without cleaners.
.....and no one needs an enabling environment to practice discipline. You start where you are, I started with keeping my corner and hostel area clean in sec school and way into uni I've never had hygiene issues with anybody plus my hostel them was never the best.

I am not sure about what you are talking about.. But if you expect students to take a day off to clean toilet that is supposed to be cleaned by government paid staffs. Then there is nothing wrong with you taking a day off to go around repairing bad roads and fixing electric poles around your community.
Roads wear out, potholes develop and that's nobody's fault.
Electric poles don't fall because people push them.

But toilets only look that horrible because people used it wrongly.
The govt shouldn't waste money on cleaners when students decide to behave like uncultured beasts.
It may interest you to know that while students in private schools in Nigeria have their classes swept for them, pupils in Japan do the cleaning themselves to instil discipline in them.

Invalid argument.

That is why most things that succeed have to be run on an entirely commercial basis as far as Nigeria is concerned. If those students were charged anytime they use it as a running cost it would not be in that state. No two Nigerians agree on anything including their own hygiene, health and safety.
You have a point.... in some public areas abroad, you pay a token (about say 150 in naira) to use the restroom in a train station for instance.

By the time 100 people pay that same amount in a day, the money will be enough to keep it clean and keep facilities renovated and working fine

Not all of the land mass in Canada is liveable though. Lots of frozen tundra and inhabitable mountains and hills. Also lots of huge farm lands in the prairie region.
However there is still lots of space.

I have never lived in Germany, so i can't compare the two countries. The closest i have gotten to Germany was a friend called Katja when I was studying in the UK always telling me how backward the UK was in terms of technology. I felt the same way when I moved to Canada. I felt Canada was backward in technology compared to the UK. I am used to the way things work in Canada now lol.

But the pay and remuneration for my profession and that of my wife is better in western Canada than that of UK by miles. You can also live in huge houses and drive nice toys on wide roads. I believe Gernmany would be very similar to UK in terms of building and road designs.

I love Canada, but the cold meh.
You should visit Germany, yeah there may not be wide roads and all but you'll love the high tech advancement and organisation there.
I loved my time there and dying to go back this summer most likely.
Beautiful and rich in history and culture too.

Nigerians, leaders and followers are foolish people. The success girl who only showed her frustration is being celebrated. My mom always said she didn't go to secondary school because her father couldn't afford 10 naira back then. She's the most intelligent person I know. Imagine if she went to school. There are millions of kids going through worse than success. I see them chasing buses with pure water. I see them begging. Going viral on soctal media doesn't make anyone special. Rather than gift the one girl monetary gifts, a fund should have been set up to help immodest kids stay in school. Unemployed graduates should be thinking of setting up affordable schools like the ones in Kenya. Protests should have held against issues like this. That's what Americans would have done. Rather, we're saying nonsense like "she was destined to help her family", "her name is success". You call this success?
A whole speaker, who should have used his position to advocate for quality, free education in a state like that, is giving a blockhead adult half a million naira for posting a skit online. 500k would pay school fees for 100 kids. We should stop monetizing everything in nigeria and start solving real problems with real solutions. I expect that blockhead up there to fight for free, quality education and start an NGO but her family and friends already pushed her to cry for 1m. Later you'll say Buhari is why everybody is so foolish.
This text you put up there is a summary of why I sometimes wish I was stateless than be a Nigerian. Dumb people everywhere thinking with their feet!

Even if women throw themselves at them, they know they can't deal with a woman that cheats so they themselves will keep off women till it's time for marriage.

NaijaTechGuy:
Normally when it comes to cheap data plans I always tell people that Nigeria is one of the countries with the cheapest data plans in the world and I haven’t been too far from the truth. Take a look at at this graph from Statista.

https://i0.wp.com/www.naijatechguy.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/stat5266438653410740692.png

Nigeria ranks 4th in the list of selected countries with the cheapest data plans.

While a gigabyte of data would set Italian smartphone users back $1.73, the same amount would cost $2.22 in Nigeria, $2.99 in France, $6.66 in the United Kingdom and $6.96 in Germany. Costs are even higher in North America where they average $12.02 in Canada and $12.38 in the United States.

So should we give our Network Providers some accolades for giving us the cheapest data plans in the world?

https://i2.wp.com/www.naijatechguy.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/GIFs2019211670.gif

Nope. Definitely not worth a standing ovation especially if you check the fact that we have one of the slowest 4G speeds in the world.

https://i1.wp.com/www.naijatechguy.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/unnamed-18279717984854938622.jpg

Nigeria’s top 4G speed is placed between 9.5Mbps and 16.2Mbps, while Algeria’s slowest speed of 2.6Mbps is the worst in the world.

However here’s the plot twist, the country with the slowest 4G speed – Algeria’s top download speed of 16.4Mbps still beat the fastest speeds in Thailand (11.7Mbps), India (14.6Mbps) and Nigeria (16.2Mbps).

Now I feel they only deserve the accolades for constantly zapping our data. Nevertheless I feel ISP’s in Nigeria can definitely do better than this.

https://www.naijatechguy.com/2019/03/countries-with-the-cheapest-data.html
I laugh in German. Look at you guys, have you wondered why two of the world's poorest countries top that list? Your population man.
Mobile data usually thrives when you have poor wireless internet services. Where I stay, I hardly buy mobile data except I want to travel by rail and don't want to be too bored in the train that has poor WIfi.
When there's wireless fast internet service in my school, at home, all my friend's apartments, in the pubs and restaurants, even in the buses and on the street while you walk. Tell me then who will spend on mobile data?
If those guys want to help Nigerians, they should improve service and make WIfi bundles cheaper.

P.S I paid an equivalent of about 12k in Naira for unlimited internet for one full year and it's good enough for me to even stream live football.
Can your MTN beat that? yet the country in question is not even on that list at all
