How many "Igbos" contributed a dime to his traininghuh

Some of you would have even looked down on him for not joining his peers in Onitsha main market to bring home immediate bread but rather chose to study. Now he's your "bloda"

Nonsense and ingredients!

Kudos to the brainy one!
I am where I am because my society encouraged education and training over playing around and growing up to be a political whip in the hand of bloody, illiterate, good for nothing politicians.

I was raised to think for myself, be ambitious, and plan for the future. My poor family was ready to let go of hundreds of thousands to fund my education whilst encouraging me that that's the only way to create value and have an impact in the world. If I was born to some mallam up north, the entire story would've been different.

Don't kid yourself, your society and upbringing matters more than you think.

Guys I'm so sorry for the lack of updates. The past month has been the most difficult and most traumatizing for me since I came to Russia. My friend and classmate had an accident in October and has been in coma for one month now. She's an only Child, and her parents are devastated.

The past few weeks has been the saddest and most depressing for me because of that and other issues. Guys please a little prayer for my friend please.
Just said a prayer for your friend, I hope you find strength in God and just praise even though it seems stupid. Stay positive and hope for the best.
Don't worry about videos or updates or anything for now, all those can wait, work on getting to feel better and happy again.
Take care bro.

Hi guys, hope everyone is having a good week? I just remembered I didn't update you guys on how things went with V the new girl I told you guys I met.

I've ended things with her because I found out she lied to me. Well, she didn't technically lie to me but she withheld vital information from me. When we met, she told me she was single, which was technically true, but what she failed to tell me was that she was previously married.

She is currently 25 years old but she got married very early to her high school sweetheart (She has only dated that same guy all her life) they've been together since they were 15 so they got married immediately after college. The guy is kinda rich and he is the one that bought her the apartment she currently lives in, setup her salon business etc.

They got divorced because she found out he cheated on her with his colleague. When she told me about him, I asked why she didn't tell me all these while, she said, is because she didn't think it was a big deal since it's in the past. She showed me the divorce papers because I wanted to be sure they're officially divorced.

To cut a long story, I decided to stop talking to her because the guy is still actively involved in her life. They did not have kids before the divorce and according to her they no longer have an intimate relationship but the guy is still close to she and her family and he still helps them. They also still communicate often and whenever she has any problems, the ex husband is the one that usually comes through. I think the ex husband is still in love with her so I decided to take myself out of the equation and give them a chance to maybe work things out.

The past few days have been quite stressful for me because we're currently having midterm tests and a couple of exams, plus lots of deadlines for assignments and projects are due this week. I'm currently trying to finish up a research project on the economic profile of some countries from 1980-2017. I have to collate thousands of data from IMF, WTO, UNCTAD and make sense with them using excel then do some analysis and conclusions.
I have a bunch of other research projects due this week, and mid term tests and exams. Really can't wait for Christmas to come already we will have a week holiday from Dec 31st to Jan 8 so person go fit rest small.

I also haven't had time to shoot any new videos and I need to fix that soon.

Also guys, please if anyone has a nice idea for a video or any kind of video you'd like me do please tell about it. I'm open to ideas please. I'm doing this for the sake of people back home in Nigeria and Africa as a whole so I'd really appreciate some feedback and suggestions abeg.

Btw do you guys remember that my good friend that drove me to Pushkin to shoot autumn videos? Well I haven't told you guys much about her yet but she's really super nice. Saturday night, I was busy working on my projects and I forgot to cook or buy food. I told her, and she offered to cook me pasta carbonara and she actually did and drove all the way late in the night to give to me. She's really selfless and super nice to me. Btw she also owns a hair salon in the city center and she has a lovely horse and does amateur dressage in her free time.

Whew! That's what I've been up to these past few days. I wish each and everyone of you a good and productive week, and please don't forget to tell suggest video ideas to me if you have any. Xoxo.

I think you did the right thing with the girl, and also let her understand why you distanced yourself from her. It isn't so nice to just blank out like that.

....and you seem to be able to attract nice ladies, don't take them for granted oh. Be good.

However that is not to say other Nigerians don't cheat. ...and as for the saudi list, please don't make a fool of yourself next time, check the list before making silly assumptions.

RomanceRe: What Is The Extent Of Financial Help You Can Offer A Platonic Friend? by greenprince(m): 12:20am On Aug 24, 2019
Truthsbitter:
look, i am a mixed personality (spiritual and logical). if you find it hard to understand something I wrote, call me back on the lines that are complex.
Okay let's consider these questions with sincerity before I say the truth.

Would your platonic friend do the same for you if the positions were reversed ?
Would you help any other friend with that amount if you find them in same position as your platonic friend?
If the answers to these questions are negative then consider yourself manipulated by your emotions and by the force of attraction within her personality. And if this is true then you are about to give wrongly.
(Giving in itself isn't bad but most male are too weak to see that emotional manipulation is draining them off everything. Their resources, affections, time, compassion , care...etc. they waste almost everything for unrighteous emotions).
Proverbs 25:28 KJV
He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.
Women most times don't attach conscience to their judgement, that's why they can dump any relationship coldly at any point in time(If you like kneel down in public to propose marriage or in the presence of your father, they will decline once their heart isn't there but if you find out about the matter you would come to the findings that all the time while they remained in such relationship they would make the man feel so good that he would have spent his life and resources on them not knowing he is being played all along. grin foolish men). men are the ones who consider these things and so it is easy to manipulate these men by their conscience. But if your conscience aligns with the unsentimental truth within you, then you may offer help irrespective of any manipulation (it would sure backfire against the guilty in the end "the one who manipulates to extort the other. if there is", for you have cleared your conscience rightly).

If you decide to help her, help her because you are aware of her problems and you have DECIDED to help not because you FEEL you should help. your help won't be a blessing if it was controlled by just your emotions and not by the truth of the matter. it is better to give your cash to a beggar than to give your cash to a platonic (girl)friend, if truly the beggar needs the cash more.

Lastly I will tell you this. a girl who wants a platonic relationship with you is probably a manipulative girl than a truthful girl. Here is how it goes; If she has something intellectual to add to you, it's good. If she has a good character to imbibe in you, it's good. if she can support you financially , it's good. if she can ease your stress by sex or romance it's good (Any one of the above benefit is good , if at least she can tender any, but unfortunately most Nigerian girls don't have any to give except for sex, which is why most guys who know them insist on sex before they tender any form of help to a Nigerian girl). otherwise she wants you around cause she wants to manipulate you into being her maga whom will not only spend his cash but his emotions, intellect, time and so much more on her and then she dumps you as soon as she grows past your value .

Love seems to have proved over time to be the strongest emotional force because it seems to create more than it destroys, and all other emotions are mainly viewed as destructive but when one grows into higher level of awareness one finds that all emotional forces could be rightly channeled and to do so is to become emotionally balanced. Balance is the key.
Proverbs 16:32 KJV
He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

truthsbitter

technocrats are already in civil service... moreover which of the ministers is not a technocrat...
It will be nice if you could define who a technocrat is...

Let me use an example you may understand.

When Nafdac changed, it was probably because Ms. Dora (God rest her wonderful soul) was a trained pharmacist that knew her onions and understood the meaning and entire procedures of drug manufacturing including quality control and testing, pharmacovigilance and it's direct consequences on a population as large as Nigeria's.

If she was a major in accounting or French or int'l relations, how long do you think it'll take for her to first understand how the pharmaceutical industry works and then know what changes to effect.

Your president appoints a lawyer to head a ministry that should have an architect or civil engineer there and you think that is fine. What tech know how does an average SAN have asides using his mobile phone. Do these old outdated cargo look like they know the latest in the tech world.

You talking, do you know that a plane is currently being developed in the Netherlands that will change the face of the industry?

Do you know how many strategies govts such as that of Norway are taking to encourage more electric car purchases?

It's about putting sound minds that know the system and are constantly changing with it. Not Aregbe that's openly confessing he doesn't know jack about his ministry.

You should travel more, you'll realise that the world has left us behind.

Hi guys, I hope everyone had a lovely day?

I want to use this opportunity to thank everyone who subscribed to my YouTube channel. We've passed 200 subscribers and I have you guys to thank for that. 200 subscribers might not seem like a big deal but this is my first milestone on YouTube and I want you guys to know I really appreciate each and everyone of you who watch and share my videos. And If and when that YouTube money starts coming in the future, I certainly will make sure to share the love with you guys.

Now to answer the question that has been on everyone's lips.

Why I broke up with B?

I know I do not really owe it to anyone to explain what happened but I feel that since you guys were part of the journey from the beginning, it's only fair I address why I left our beloved B.

Some of you were there from the very beginning; from our first date at Red Square in Moscow to the family Vacation in Sochi and all the adventures we had so it's only right that I give you guys some closure.

Now to why we broke up. I'll keep this short.

Our relationship hit rock bottom when I told her about my decision to move to Saint Petersburg. Like I already explained earlier in my first post, moving to Saint Petersburg was a strategic decision which I believe is the best for my future and my plans.
Apart from the reasons I have listed before in the beginning of this thread, I am also currently on scholarship and if I had chosen to remain Moscow, I would not only have to struggle because the program is entirely taught in Russian language, but also worry about tuition each semester.

B wanted me to turn down the scholarship and stay in Moscow cos that's what I'm apparently supposed to do if I love her.

Bottomline, she kinda gave me two options. 1, if I love her, I should say no to the scholarship and stay in Moscow with her and we'd continue to live together. Or 2, move to Saint Petersburg and that will be the end of our relationship. In my mind I was like 'love gbakwa oku'

I told her that even tho I love her, my priority in life right now isn't starting a family but to work hard so I'll be able to provide and help my family back home in Nigeria. I did not come to Russia to play with snow or count white people. I came here for a reason, which is to study and search for greener pastures. There are people back home who depend on me, who pray for me daily to succeed so I can change my family's life. Everything I'm doing right now is for my family, my mom especially has suffered a lot in this life and all I want to do is to help them in anyway I can and any girl or person that threatens that, has no place in my life.
She did not understand this and I don't blame her cos our realities are different.

So that's it sha. We had other issues ho but this was the straw that broke the camel's back.

After we broke up and I had moved to Saint Petersburg, we kept seeing each other. She visited me a couple of times, and I also visited her in Moscow a few times.

After a few months, I realized it wasn't good for us to keep seeing each other after breaking up cos that means we won't really move on so I told her it's best we stop talking to each other and cut all ties. And that's what we did and we haven't spoken this year.

Whew! So that's what happened.

I want you guys to know this; even though B and I are no longer together, she will always be special to me, and the memories we created will be with me forever. B and her family are the kindest people I've met in Russia, they loved me, they gave me a home when I needed one and they accepted me into their loving family as one of theirs and for that I'm eternally grateful.

On my way back from the center. I had a really busy evening shooting for my channel and I can't wait to share the video with you guys. In the meantime, enjoy these beautiful pictures I took of the sunset over the Bolshoy Neva river.
You're really a man of character and I respect that. When you said love gbakwa oku I could smell that it was a facade. You tried to make it sound casual but I know it must've been hard on you.

The important thing though is that you made the right decision and I'm sure you're proud of yourself for that. If that lady is actually meant for you, years may pass but she'll confess she was wrong to give you conditions like that.

I'm glad you also understood she didn't mean to be a clog in your wheel only that these white people don't understand the realities of our lives as struggling Africans sometimes.

I hope others like myself can learn from you. Goodluck with the upcoming semester, and drop our video sharp sharp grin

P.S those photos are really nice. What camera and lens combo do you use please.
