This my friend is a visitor visa, boss this I repeat is a visitor visa which is also in the category of a temporary visa. Read the 1st sentence, Thank you for your interest in visiting canada. But a study visa denial starts with Thank you for your interest in studying in canada. If you paid the agent for a study visa and this is Wat he did, pls kindly go along with the police...lock him up for the duration of how long u waited, how long he ate your money and how long he fooled you... my 2kobo

It's a visiting visa. If it were a study permit, it'd have been plainly written. You'll see “Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada” instead of a visiting visa.

The application is "likely" to be a Visit Visa. Besides, there is no standard format for both a study or visit refusal letter

BTW those who got a refusal recently can easily be of help so to be most certain.

I stated a fact having been compelled to check myself. The fees in Canada are high and foreign student's must work to pay it since most parents can't continously afford it. It crossed my mind it can be cold but most won't mind sacrificing cold for Nigeria, is what I thought, considering the superior education and employment opportunities in Canada. I wondered how they'd earn enough to pay the fees and still have the time to study but concluded Naijapeople na rugged people, throw us in a river and we will swim. And Canada want to increase that 0.01% so hope for those who want to go there, considering what I'd read at the time. If they double it that's a whopping 30billion, or 50 since the economy itself would have grown! Thank God Nairaland has a thread for any one who wanted advise on how to get there, I muttered in my mind. And God bless Seun.

Small advice
If I were you I would get a book and label is Canada Study permit information
and start writing all I gather from here
then make a checklist of what I have to do so that when I am ready I won't start looking for them
