The poor understands the position he is in. It irks him so much that he boinks the wife with venom, which results in immediate pregnancy and eventually a child.

The rich on the other hand also understand his position. He's got business deals to attend to, awaiting contracts etc. He's got all these in mind while shagging the wife, which makes it a bad sex and almost difficult for the wife to conceive.

I hope y'all would buy this theory, it's that cheap cheesy
Family › Re: 10 Myths About Introverts by Griffon: 6:36am On Nov 13, 2015
Op is getting too many facts misconstrued.

Psychology makes it clear to us that an introvert is a person who's energized by being alone and whose energy is drained by being around with other people.

They enjoy thinking and exploring the inner world of the mind. The average introvert has nothing for social gathering and people.

The few introverts that talk too much, seldom parties and have fun are the ones that have sanguine registered as their secondary trait.

So myths 1, 4, 5 and 6 stand as facts.

My dear you get to a point in life where arguments don't matter to you as much.

Especially around those you love....as long as they're not saying or doing anything stupid.

I understand your angle and while it true that I think I have a superior argument, I rather rest it.

When you're ready to be exposed to the realms I've seen...you'd understand.

You'd understand that all that really matters is being.
That's the mark of our higher calling.

Chelsea technical director Michael Emenalo is under pressure following the Blues’ disastrous start to the season, as per the Mirror.

The Nigerian transfer guru is also feeling the heat after a flurry of high-profile flops, including the likes of Filipe Luis, Mohamed Salah and Juan Cuadrado – who have all been offloaded, as stated in the report.

Emenalo, 50, worked in both the scouting and coaching departments at the reigning Premier League champions and could face the axe following a series of mistakes in the transfer markets.

Chelsea missed out on top target John Stones in the summer, with under-fire boss José Mourinho made to settle for the £2m signing of relatively unknown defender, Papy Djilobodji instead. The Blues have also been forced to see off several misfiring stars after poor spells at Stamford Bridge.

Luis was sold back to Atletico Madrid in the summer, while Salah and Cuadrado were both farmed out on loan to Roma and Juventus respectively – with neither of the duo unlikely to make a return to Chelsea at the end of their loan spells.
The emboldened though, Hector and Papy comes to mind.

Ibime send me a bottle of Jack Daniels ASAP. Your spells just got powerful. grin grin grin

When it comes to people I hold dear

The principle of live and let live holds sway.
I understand where you're coming from with regards to the write-up. We must not wait for validation from people but to try and give it to ourselves.

But then, I only had to pick on you 'cos you missed a line like this ''When you recognize your good traits, you are not being narcissistic. When you praise yourself for your accomplishments, you are not being self-centered. Praising yourself and let the praise you receive from others be the icing on the cake.''

See, the emboldened in same breath is encouraging you to work hard and praise yourself. It isn't informing the public that you're a real man just because you exist instead it's saying a real man is one who has recognized his good traits and is praising himself for his accomplishments.

We would war some day honey, in the meantime, how is your day moving?
Family › Re: Dear Guys; You Have Nothing To Prove. by Griffon: 11:09am On Nov 12, 2015
joseph1832:
To you validation are like incentives. To me, its not!. Never forget, in Nigeria today, money is the highest motivating factor, not kind words. Any incentives that doesn't add a penny to my pocket goes through my right ear, and comes out via the left.

Dude, amidst all what you said you must learn to be very practical in your analysis, THIS IS NIGERIA People tend to work harder when the pay is better than work harder when they're given just kind words of encouragement.
An Incentive is a thing that motivates or encourages one to do something. Validation on the other hand is getting feedback from others that “what I do and what I say matters to you. You hear me. You see me. You think of me. You thank me. You acknowledge my accomplishments. You appreciate my efforts.”

If you cant spot the correlation in the two then I'm sorry I can't help you. Incentives must not always come in money form, get your dictionary and come good on this debate.

The difference is at work we get validated so we can get paid. Promotion means increase in salary, its that simple, but when you get validated by people does it add a single kobo to your account?
Validations are like incentives, they give you reasons to work better, smarter and harder.

We must welcome them, just as we must welcome criticisms, they are there to spur us up.

It must not necessarily add a penny to your account.

Kachisbarbie:
Understanding is deep nne.
The thread is not in anyway encouraging laziness, no sane woman would validate a lazy man. The thread is directed at real men who are trying their best, but somehow the society and ladies around them think otherwise.

They say they don't validation, try saying the men in your lives are the only reasonable men on earth and watch some of them come for you like an anticipated prey.

If humans don't need validation, why do we have/need promotion at work. Why not sit on your desk, do your work, don't get promoted and convince yourself you're the fhucking best.
I love you already.

It seems like some folks are misunderstanding the OP. I don't see how that post says a man should be lazy or whatever inference y'all are drawing from it.

It is well.
In psychology, negative affectivity relates to different classes of variable. The Op's assertion that a man is a real man simply 'cos he exists is quite flawed.

Such claim is capable of washing out a man's willpower and hunger to hustle, such claim is capable of reconfigurating a man's thought process.

When as an individual you don't have an external drive, you're likely to falter midway. A real man isn't that man who's just living and doesn't need people's validation.

I know mizmycoli means well with the write-up, but psychology doesn't quite agree with her on this.

LMAO @ embolded. I don laugh die. grin

I agree with you here. Human's need a spur to motivate them into becoming resourceful and hardworking. Something that would make us sit up and embrace the fact that life waits for no one and everyday counts.

While growing up my father would always remind us that life is a battle field and we should assume that everyday it's a new challenge requiring a different method of approach as no two days are thesame. And if we must scale through and succeed we should always harbour this in mind.

He'd remind me in particular that I should never depend on anyone for livelihood not even my elder brothers who were providing me with everything I needed at that time as they might disappoint me in the future, when he might have gone and by which time it might be too late to make amends. Those words are like an afflatus, muse and influential in shaping my life and approach towards life.

It takes more than just breathing, eating and sleeping to live life. One has to develop themselves everyday in whatever they do. Be it studying, working or whatever they specialise on. Be at the top of it.

Lastly, I'm very comfortable when a fellow guy employs any of those cliche lines on me about being a real man than when a lady does. Reason being that she might be falsely assuming or think that it's only men who should work hard and be successful. The conception that men are to strive harder in life more than females is baseless and Victorian. If a man should be 'real' a woman too should.
There you are, doing what you know best, making sense.

Aristotle would say, ''to avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.

That subtly summarises what happens to a man who have decided to avoid people's views.
Family › Re: The Impact Of A Broken Home On A Child by Griffon:
To pity the kids and accept to rule out a divorce just to inure the bull crap in your marriage is nearly a nuclear option.

Would you still be looking out for your kids from the grave when that bullcrap you're stomaching must have killed you?

My advice is, any couple who intends to divorce should make out plans for their kids. Either parent could decide to live with the children and give them the best of parenting.

I've seen cases where the kids were asked to choose the parent they would love to live with, that's a good idea as well, one that reeks of democracy.

The kids must be planned for before a divorce, simples.

This is a healthy perspective, but then, don't you think you'll be discouraging some slothful men from striving for greatness on the ground that they've got nothing to prove to anyone?

The way I see it, a real man is one who's doing something right. That includes, having a clear definition of his life, working towards a predetermined goal and reaching out to the people around him.

Most men who had ignorantly subscribed the 'I no send them' idea, are found sitting idly in front of their homes everyday collecting free greetings from passersby. The 'I no send them' thinking has been enshrined in most men's modus operandi and has turned out to be the bane of their existence.

In a nutshell, men should start 'sending wetin people go talk and then allow the criticisms to kick them to life.

Every real man should understand that criticisms are only there to serve as a springboard that'll help lift him and that by working hard enough, he isn't angling to earn a petty validation but he's working towards greatness.

Yeah, it's a season-long loan deal.

I'm glad he's faring fine in a tough league as the Ligue 1, not to mention that he's also tasting Europa league football.

Most importantly, it's a good thing that the lad sees the loan move as a platform to higher heights. This suggests that he has the right attitude approaching chances with us.

Like I'll say, if we are to start giving youth integration a shot, it should start with ninjas like Pasalic and Christensen - ninjas who are geniunely getting tested in decent leagues. Not RLC wey dey drive around London, dey form don gordon, and hoping to break into the first team.

See this Victor Osimhen wey just claim golden boot for U-17 WC. Highest, he no go pass 18 or 19.
We have FIFA to thank sincerely. The MRI test have been a huge success thus far.

The thing is that the growth plates in the bones of the human skeleton are open during growth and closed at different times with increasing age and maturity. X-ray images of the growth plate of the left wrist have been used for aeons in paediatrics, and court, to determine age.

So in place of an X-ray screening, Fifa suggested the MRI exams. The thing fit complete fushion of a player's wrist.

Although some players at the mundial are overage, it's no risk to the individual, FIFA or member associations. Such players can't be older than 21.

I know most of the niggas that have represented the nation in the last two U-17 WCs, and I can unequivocally tell you that they're not over 23. Iheanacho who's now celebrated as a golden boy used to run around on thisame turf with me in Aba five years ago. I'm 24 today and I'm pretty sure the nigga is a year younger.

If given the proper attention and grooming, these chaps would go places without the fear of being accused of age falsification.
