4. Branch: Next on the list is this unique platform called branch. I don't know how they got their name though but they are different from others in terms of the way they operate. Branch offers you the ability to get loans using your mobile device.
However branch is different from others because the repayment is strictly weekly. I haven't succeeded in taking any loans though as their system keep rejecting my applications.
One weakness of Branch is that once you are rejected you have to wait two weeks without uninstalling the app

To answer your question.... there are no collaterals required the only thing required is your faithfulness.
The platforms analyse your credit score through your Bvn and account number. Your first loan might be as small as 10k but the more faithful you repay without default the higher your credit level. which means you can borrow more.

secondly no documents are required only your Bvn and a selfie from your phone to easily identify your face. Then you'll add a payment method ie your debit card.

AC initially existed as a web app only available for employees residing in Lagos alone until recently I got an email from them (having registered about a year ago but unable to get loan then) that their platform is now available on mobile device and for non Lagos residents.

With AElla Credit you can borrow from N10000 if you are eligible.

The registration process is simple but you'll need a selfie. If you are employed you'll tick the button but if not you leave it self employed.
After completing the form you'll receive your loan within the next 24hrs.

2. QuickcheckNG : Quickcheck is similar to Paylater but operates differently. Unlike paylater quick check only charges you per the number of days. In other words if you borrow for 10 days you'll pay 1% each day and for the days you don't use you'll not pay a kobo.
However if you default your loan piles up 1% daily until you pay your outstanding loan.
You can choose to pay installmentaly
The only setback of quickcheck that I know is their poor customer service.

1. Paylater: The first on our list is paylater. Just as the name implies paylater allows you to get soft loans from as low as N7000. You don't need any documents. All you need is your bank details.
You might be wondering why your bank details or if they are trust worthy. Well paylater is owned by One finance a fintech company fully regulated by CBN with its headquarters in Lagos.

How Does it Work?
You download the app on Google playstore. Install fill the info required and boom you are as good as getting your first loan.
You'll need to allow location access on your device. However you ma notice that your loan is declined. This can happen if your details do not match so ensure your Bvn details tallies with the details you give. Your credit level increase and interest reduces when you pay back early.

What Happens if I Default?
There are penalties for defaulters. Paylater works with a point system so if you default your point is deducted which will affect your credit level. However if you do not payback after months you are risking being sued by the one finance.
