Politics › Re: Atiku Reacts To US Travel Ban Against Nigeria by Guestlander: 7:40pm On Feb 01, 2020 |
jayfolarin: Some kids here with their tiny brains praising trump for his racist decision to ban Nigerian immigrants.
Nigerians are one of the best educated immigrant groups. 17 percent of Nigerians in the US hold a master's degree while 4 percent have a doctorate. The corresponding numbers for white Americans are 8 percent and 1 percent.
Trump has made disparaging comments about African nations in the past, complaining that Nigerians who entered the United States on visas would never “go back to their huts.”. He is a racist white supremacist asshole whose entire domestic & foreign policy has been based on reversing everything the first black American president did.
Fifteen of the 19 '9/11' plane hijackers were citizens of Saudi Arabia, two were from the United Arab Emirates, one from Lebanon, and one from Egypt. None of their citizens has been placed on a travel ban list but Nigerians that have been a net positive to America gets put on a list. Madness! Trump is obviously a racist. I still don't know what is going on in the minds of some Nigerians who support him. |

flexyrule: While the government is embarking on fruitless oil discovery expedition in the Northeast, a Finnish woman is busy making millions from Agriculture in Jos.
You see this country ehn.. Evacuate the 200 million people here to the US and bring the whole of USA here.. In 20 years, Nigerians who were moved to the US would be battling to get visas to return to Nigeria. You have a point my brother. We have no idea how blessed we are. |

Only a few Nigerians realize how blessed this country is. If only we can focus on important things. |

Fragility6: And where was it stated that you must respond to someone's opinion on a public forum n who decides if an opinion makes sense or not? Replies are welcome for pple wit reasonable replies nt pple like you trying to claim smart on a hidden bt in reality its the actual opposite. Funny, you need to realize this is not your living room where you can order someone not to respond to whatever you are saying. When you post something on Nairaland, you are basically asking a few million people to respond to you. Once again, Nairaland is not your house. |

Fragility6: Sometimes una need to try comprehend person comment bfor una form all n all ontop anoda person opinion. Were in my statement i tk numerical data to classify Africans as a whole so why i would use numerical data to know d number of indians working for them? You don't agree with someone's opinion, u read and ignore. Not when such opinion is posted on a public forum, and also when such opinion doesn't make sense. If you don't want anyone to respond to whatever you have to say then don't bring it on a public forum. |

izombie: why are you people afraid to try something else. Nigeria as it is is already doomed but i still don't understand why people like you still think nigeria will get better. As long as we have people like the hausa fulani in this coutry, forget it bro, this country will never be better. What made you think it will not get better? And what made you think Biafra will not become just another poor and tiny African country with the same corrupt ruling elite? Is south Sudan now a developed country just because they left Sudan? |

MONIKERREVEALER: Does not the emboldened show that you afonjas also want the same thing as the north want? Why are you now making it look as if it is the north alone that is DESPERATE to cling to one zoogeria and not you folks as well!!!
You are saying that you guys want restructuring. Can you sincerely see this happening in this most fractured and wicked country?!!!
Get real afonjas!!!
The day you guys man up and declare oduduwa republic, we in the great east would support you with EVERYTHING we have got!!!
If una like keep being the "balancing force" and "holding the country together", the jihàd go still reach everybody las las!!! The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. There's no country without their own different set of challenges. Somalia is homogeneous, the same people, the same language, the same religion. Did it make them peaceful and prosperous? You all need to grow up and stop the zoo nonsense you are saying all the time. If you call your country a zoo, doesn't that make you an animal? |

ise82: This woman is fighting the good fight. You can’t imagine the bunch of uneducated adults we have in this county; no wonder our country is like this. The travel ban is not only about traveling to the United States but it’s about our image; our value; our standard. Whether you like it or not it’s a bad omen. This will definitely affect every average Nigerian. But it’s sad we don’t have active leaders that suppose to stand and send all Americans away and cut all ties with them. It’s a total embarrassment to our nation.
For this reason, God will raise up men of worth to come to the challenge; wen the table turns America will pay for it God willing. I read a report yesterday about the effects this will have on the emerging tech industries in Nigeria. Nigeria is the biggest recipient of venture capital in the whole of Africa in regards to new technology. I am amazed at how some people could be so shallow minded that they can't see this as a hostile policy from the Trump government. |

Freehuman: If fossil materials are discovered in Ethiopia today I wouldn't be shocked that their DNA will be traced to Fulani people in Nigeria. When we had tribalism in Nigeria we were not this low, but since racism started we have been fighting many demons.
Fulanis are not Africans , look at their hair. They are another race who migrated to Eastern Africa after Settling in the Magreb for a while. HOW MUCH DAMAGE THEY DO TO AFRICAN ANCESTRAL TERRITORY IS NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS.
The statement above looks like what Fani Kayode or Nnamdi Kanu or Nwaamaikpe above me will say.
But I tell you this. Fulanis are NIGERIANS and are beautiful people.
You however know which one is true. Na DSS I DEY FEAR O. Not only that, Fulanis, Ethiopians are all Africans. The ancient Egyptians were Africans too. This is why the genetic variations in Africa is by far the largest on the planet. Africa is the cradle of humanity. |

Hillsong34:

SW (Yorubas) are trying to be smart by half and thinks nobody sees through the wooly circle. Maybe he thinks others are suffering from schizophrenia like some do.
Amotekun as a regional force cannot stand and must be nipped to the mud. Yorubas want regional Amotekun but are smartly avoid constitutional review which is the root cause of all the crises and where all the problems lies and same. Constitution is what AGF, police and the rest stand to counter Amotekun. Where was your outrage when hisbah and the civilian JTF were created. The security of our people is superior to any other consideration. If what you and miyetti Allah are worried about is for Amotekun to be sanctioned by the houses of assembly in the SW, then that will be done and we will wait for your next excuse. |
