Bros, assume she is an igbo. Now, read her message again knowing she is an igbo. Did you understand her message now?
Read my posts again. I've said Yorubas are not against your agitation. We recognize that it is your legitimate right, but what we will never embrace is hate as personified by Kanu. It is absolutely unnecessary to precede your posts with "I'm Yoruba" because that is completely meaningless.

I have stated the reason already. You still couldn't get it. She doesn't want u to think she is an ipob. She wants you to hear her opinion without bias. Simple!
Saying I'm Yoruba on Nairaland does not automatically make you a Yoruba. Simple. There are many IPOBs here on Nairaland claiming to be Yoruba.

Stating her tribe is to prevent her tribes people from reading her message with bias. She did not use her tribe as a point. She understands her people and what they can do. Her people would call her names, thinking she is an ipob and they would read her message with bias.
That was her second post where she introduced herself as Yoruba, why is that so central to what she had to say? In fact, she might not be Yoruba at all.
Politics › Re: Biafra/IPOB What Exactly Is The Fear Of The Fed.govt.? by Guestlander: 6:22pm On Sep 04, 2017

The main reason she stated her tribe was to correct your false notion to think she is an ipob writing for Biafra.
She was the original poster! Nobody questioned her identity or motives. If your argument cannot stand on it's own merit but rather on your identity as a Yoruba, Ijaw or Kanuri, perhaps you need to keep then to yourself.
That was her second topic where she first introduced herself as Yoruba before going on to say whatever she wanted to say.

I think you are the person who have issues here. This man never said the yorubas are against agitation by any section of the country. You are the one who is dying of your conscience of hating agitation. The OP only stated he is a Yoruba to prevent people from thinking he is an iPod defending ipob. Read his post again and get the message he is trying to pass. His opinion is that the FG should resolve the biafran issue once as trying to shut down agitation by killing or any other means would not kill the ideology of Biafra, as the unborn people may agitate again in the future. I'm sure you did compression in English language.
Can you then please explain to me the significance of preceding her posts with "I'm Yoruba" ? What is her identity as a Yoruba got to do with with what she has to say?

She asked what is the federal government afraid for, not why are the Yorubas against the Biafran struggle.

I suggest u wait until she asks why the Yorubas are against the struggle before giving ur reason (that Kanu was using hate speeches on the Yorubas)

Meanwhile u can't take the "backseat" and wait for people who have something more meaningful to say..

It's better to keep quiet and be thought foolish than to open ur mouth and then clear all doubts
What then is the significance of "I'm Yoruba" preceding her posts?
It is indeed better to keep quiet and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and erase all doubts.

You are too diabolically and cowardly... The poster asked simply question ..... The question is not about KANU and hate speech or Yoruba and what they want... The question is...why is the fed govt afraid to give biafrans a referendumhuh?
You mor.on, who injected Yoruba into it by preceding her comments with "I'm Yoruba from Oyo"?
Who said Yoruba are against your agitation? Is Yoruba synonymous with the Federal government?
A coward is the guy who cannot back up his words with actions much like your deranged leader who can no longer separate reality from his fantasies.

I will continue to mention this in any thread I starts ,its my personal decision which is not subjected or answerable to anyone .Its my world and I owe no one an answer to that I repeat I am a Yoruba from OYO State ,Biafra Agitation for Referendum is not a Violent or a Treason .Yoruba person from OYO State
It might also be a give away that you are indeed not a Yoruba. Yorubas are not against agitation by any section of the country to ask for what they think they deserve. What we are against is hate mongering, threatening violence against people who have not offended you in any way. You can defend Kanu all you want but you cannot rationalize all the hate he had directed towards the Yoruba people.
Politics › Re: Biafra/IPOB What Exactly Is The Fear Of The Fed.govt.? by Guestlander: 4:08pm On Sep 04, 2017
Why the need to constantly remind people that you are Yoruba? If you have a superior argument I don't think your ethnic identity have anything to do with it.
If you have anything to say just say it without the need to tell everyone you are from Oyo state. We have no means to confirm your identity.

Nonsense. 97% of GDP and only 3% for all other commercial activities in the country? Only a fool would believe this. The OP obviously does not know the difference between foreign exchange earnings and GDP.
The percentage of our foreign exchange earnings through oil export is not even up to 97% at present.

Kanu is not completely sure what he should be. A rebel leader, a religious leader, a traditional ruler, a freedom fighter, a man/god who should be worshipped or all of the above.

The fact that I do not condone with the evil that emanates from the South east does not mean I deny my roots. does not also mean that I'm devoid of such acts replicated in other enclaves.

All you morons blasting Igbos for a crime committed by yet to be known culprit are as dull as a lousy nyash. Let me ask you mofos, noise makers, a simple question; are you aware that South West leads in ritual and cult killing in the entire African continent? Now, your dull mind won't tribalize those nasty acts, but Igbos are the problem on your saggy baggy scrotums. Idiots angry . Egbe eligwe tiwa akpuni 'ishi lebon. angry

Rest in Peace to the Priest. May the Almighty God hunt your killers. May they know no rest until justice catch up with them. Amen.
You are are the one who needs to STFU. Yes, no sane south westerner would condone or defend ritual murderers the way you defend criminals in the SE. Moreover, there are many ritual killings in the SE as well as numerous other mind boggling crimes as well.
Always condemn what is wrong rather than engage is stupid exaggerations and tribal loyalty.

Stop the blame game and admit that things are going wrong in the education sector in south west. That is the only way to salvage the situation.
Lagos still has the highest number of 'miracle centers' than any other state in Nigeria. No region is free from the menace.
This is not a blame game. It is a known fact that the SE is full of miracle centres where exam malpractices are carried out with abandon. If both of us are fasting and I find a way to sneak out and eat a large bowl of Akpu, I shouldn't be in a position to accuse you of being weak and tired at the end of fasting.

istandfortruth:
Nnamdi Kanu has been waiting for an open case where the issue would be judged the way sane and fair humans do or even a forum to debate/deliberate on the prevailing issues bedeviling this nation but all our beloved government understands is bullets and guns.

Yet some folks still twist the facts and call Nnamdi Kanu a terrorist. Even amidst clear facts we just prefer to feed our egos and remain politically correct.
"Dealing with hate speech itself is a waste of time. Even if you kill all those who are indulge in hate speech now, for as long as the conditions that produce the hate speech are there, many more people will still rise making use of hate speech because Nigeria today is in a bad shape. There is tension all over the country; there is hate, and so, the speech is flowing from the conditions of fear, lack of love and lack of respect for nationalities. Go to the root of it; don’t deal with the symptoms."

The above quote is the real issue, it is not an endorsement of Kanu's tactics of spreading hate. The Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani he made the target of his hate speeches are not immuned to the structural defects in the Nigerian federal system.
The Yorubas practically chased the military back to the barracks without calling for genocide on other Nigerians. Kanu indeed acts like a terrorist.

Rossikki:
The British RIGGED the independence elections that saw Tafawa Balewa installed as president. Awo and Zik were the real authentic candidates. The British also RIGGED the national census that gave the north higher population. The British began the entire northern hegemony business. The north were not qualified to rule, but rule they did. And they entrenched and consolidated their position up till today. The military 'bastardization' was in response to the original British perfidy, so blame the British for it. Of course I know you won't because oyibos are your gods and masters who can do no wrong.
Oyinbos are my gods? I don't see the relevance of this statement as per what is being discussed. If the independence elections were rigged, how come Tafawa Balewa's party did not win an outright majority? How come the two southern candidates could not form a coalition even though a coalition between them could have given them the government?
Did my British gods also compelled Azikiwe to accept a ceremonial title even when he could have been the head of the government with real powers?
The current constitution of Nigeria is only a federal constitution by name only, federalism ended in 1966 with Ironsi's decree 34.
Even if my "British gods" as you said handed us a lemon, we certainly did not turn it to lemonade but something rather poisonous.
