Because....Nigeria no longer has the money to adequately fund universities....and because when you pay N45000 as fees...you get N45000 facilities.

Of course...Rochas gets some of the blame here. No money spent on developing Imo State into an oil free economy....so that it can have enough cash to fund its state owned institutions.(As for FUTO....we know that GEJ's transformation agenda....hehehe).

If our state governors were serious...they would have used their brains and manpower to develop their state economies...so that the universities would work. But no.....

But overall....Nigeria does not have the extra money needed to make IMSU and FUTO look like University of Manchester. So...ewe must diversify our economy....and invest more in education. Meanwhile...fees may have to go up.

Bachelor of science is an undergraduate course in which you select a field in which you are going to pursue the degree ie in maths , chemistry, physics, biotechnology and many other. Where as on the other hand bachelor of technology is fully a technical course in which one learns everything practically.

The difference between BSc(hons) and BSc is: for BSc(hons) you are honoured for being of good character and in learning. For BSc you are not being honoured. Probably you are caught cheating or plagiarising people's work. or caught for serious offence.
BSc and Btech depends on the school. Most importantly, Schools that are built on technology like federal technologies will offer Btech rather than BSc. or your courses are technically taught

It is the NUC or whatever they call themselves that needs to be shutdown and not this hard working schools who are trying to close the huge gap of qualified students willing to go to school but the so-called accredited schools don't have space for them. My free advice for them is to make them legal by signing the papers they have submitted and encourage more persons to open higher institutions. We need them badly.

Yes we need them yet are they capable to supply require tools needed for technology? business studies may not need much. After comparing UK universities and Nigerian universities, I see that we lack tools that can prepare students for industry.
