big mo: I was almost caught too when i drove into the the street beside NNPC towers, Ikoyi. There was no sign that it was a one way. I was quickly alerted by the Okada guys packed by the side entrance of the street. Immediately the LASTMA guys sighted me, they rushed towards me trying to apprehend me. Those bastards must have been hiding cos i didn't see them when i first turned into the street.
I did å quick reverse before they could get to me. I was left wondering why they didn't stay at that end of the the road to inform road users. They would rather wait for you to break the law and later arrest you.

There's actually a sign on that junction but way far inside for an approaching vehicle to see and appears to have been deliberately turned askew making it all the more difficult to sight. The LASTMA goons always hide especially on weekends and prey on people's innocence. They tried this same scenario with me but I used superior intelligence to outwit them. One old woman later came to tell me inside the NNPC that I was smarter than them and that was why I could leave without parting with a dime.

But what happens when you have a full touchscreen device such as the BlackBerry Torch 9850/9860 etc.
It’s still possible to do:

Select the Universal Search icon located on the upper righthand corner of your home screen underneath your signal meter.

Now that your in the text field and the keyboard has automatically launched, hit the symbol/number key located on the lower left of the keyboard.

Type “ / “ / (quote, forward slash, quote, forward slash) just as you see it and the Event Log will come up.

That’s all there is to it. From here you can see your full event log and choose to delete it by clicking menu, delete log.

I support those who say the safety of the driver was compromised by the company. There should have been a proper assessment of the area for deforestation; and a pre- task assessment before commencement on the date. @Sienna, was going to ask this question but now that you answered; I still need clarification to the climate control thing versus aircon. Do you agree that actively leaving your aircon on rather than climate control will significantly affect the total Mile versus full tank of gas even with your Audi?

old artisan was reported
to have committed
suicide on Monday night
in Erigo, a suburb of
Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, over a N750,000 debt. According to reports,
the self-employed
artisan and father of
two, hanged himself in
his residence when his
wife and children were out of the house. It was also gathered
that the artisan’s earlier
attempts to kill himself
were aborted because
people intervened.
During a visit at the late artisan’s residence in
Odutola Ogunleye Street
in Erigo, hundreds of
sympathisers were seen
discussing the tragedy. The artisan was said to
have taken the loan
from a new generation
bank in Ijebu-Ode,
where his wife worked
before her sack. It was also learnt that it
was the shame of his
inability to repay the
loan, which he used to
complete his house, that
moved him to commit suicide. His relative, who spoke
on condition of
anonymity, said the
artisan, who was a glass
cutter, left home with
his family on Monday morning to his shop. The late craftsman was
said to have later
returned to take his life.
The relative explained
that it was when the
wife returned home from her shop in the
night that she found the
body of her husband
dangling from the rope. He said: ‘’It was a
terrible and unfortunate
experience. He went to
drop his wife and his
two children in her shop
with a promise to come and pick them later. ‘’He also went to his
shop at Degun in Ijebu-
Ode, but later came back
home in the evening to
hang himself. It was
when the wife returned from her shop that she
found the deceased
body hanged, which
made her to alert the
people. ‘’ Some sympathisers,
who expressed surprise
at the artisan’s death,
described him as an
easy- going person who
would not contemplate taking his life. As at press time, the
body was still hanging
on the rope. It was
learnt that a ritual
needed to be performed
before the body could be released for burial. A police officer at Atan
Police Divisional
Headquarters in Ijebu-
North-East Local
Government Area, who
declined to be mentioned, said the
police had been
informed about the
incident. The officer said
investigations had
commenced on the
