From my own point of view,you need to include your dad tax clearance very important since it is a company sponsoring you. And according to Company law policy, a company is a legal entity on its own, it can sue or be sued (CAMA 1990) section 3,  i know that's not what you are interested in, but since it is a limited liability company,once the board of directors come together and endorse your sponsorship, that is acceptable by law, so once your brother and father sign that doc, it is ok, and moreso is like you did not submit your dad tax clearance and certificate of incorporation of the company,


Now that you are planning to put in another application with different sponsor, hope you will be able to defend that? as in getting all their required docs, pay slips for 6month,evidence of employments etc and not neccesarily the money in their account. Any statement you want to use, you must produce evidence of origin of funds in that account,

Didnt you dad has money in his own personal account on his name and not company's account because that company is a legal entity on its own.it can acquire property on its own, so that your dad's company is like a human being existing on its own,

I hope you can see any sense in all i have written here, all the best and i know experts on NL will still say somethings more not some self glorified PROFE- SI-ONALS

You stand a very good chance of getting your visa, since you don't want to waste time, i will advise you to seek for reconsideration of your application by submitting all the new and required documents. I am sure they will call you for interview or better still, you drop an appeal addressed to the ENTRY CLEARANCE MANAGER then you submit that to the Embassy where you were refused,if it is Lagos drop it there, if its at ABj, drop it there.

Then wait for like two weeks, if nothing comes up, pls reapply for another visa, because you have a pending appeal does not mean you cant make any application but just bear it in mind that when making new application, let them know you have a pending appeal and let them know time is not on your side that's why you are making new application,

Not challenging their submissions at times is like you are accepting those excuses they gave, as in you are admitting that you are not qualify to get the visa, if you have geniue docs, abeg tackle them. A friend of mine won an appeal base on that, he has not paid a penny to his school or for accommodation, still he won so paying your school fees in full dont work magic all the time. Get copies of those cheques and put in application for reconsideration or an appeal, remember, dont post,(it wastes time) drop it yourself,

To answer your question, you can still apply while you have a pending appeal. If you read in between the lines, you will see that i tried to underscore the fact that if you want to wait till when the result of the appeal will be out, which can be Feb. or Jan, your mum will almost rounding up her PHd, See, ur visit is not justified,

If you really want to go, why not re-apply and repakage your documents well this time around.Like you said you have plenty money declare as pocket money,why don't you reapply? because most people seek to appeal because they don't want to lose/waste their money.

She still has three or four months, or better still say you are going for summer holiday, xmas with her or so rather than wasting time, and that reminds me, when is your school resuming, are you guys on holidays all these while?

I am sure your post has received enough responses from Nairalanders, but am sure more bashing will still come for your 'uncoordinated' advise.

From my own point of view, many things are at play when you are in school, if you are the type that pass through the school and the school didn't pass through you, you will find some things hard in life when you face the real world and i guess you belong to this category and these are the type of students that use the what i call TRIANGLE life cycle while on campus,Hostel to Class,Class to library,Library to Hostel round the whole semester.

And the funny thing about them is that they still remain Childish because you see them hiding their assignments from coursemates,they never participate in anything. There is even this particular lady in my class that do hide the textbook she used for her assignment so that others wont use the same book by keeping the textbook in another subject/course shelf until when we have submitted that particular assignment. See how childish she was

And there are types that will use their body to get the 2.1, but ask them to do something, Come see wahala.But at the end of the semester,you see them scoring B's, Even to contribute meaningfully during lectures or tutorials, nbanu, they are empty.

Some people end up with a 3rd class due to lots of reasons, it is not necessarily that they are empty brainwise but a lot of things are at play,emotional stuff,bad company,and the main problem is Finance. To even get a 2.1 in some schools na war!

And lastly Dutty, Which school did you attend?

Appeal takes 6-12 months, and i guess before the determination will be over aftre many months, i guess your mum must have been tru with her Phd, or almost tru with her programme.then your visit wont jsutify the time you plan to stay, if really you are interested in visiting her, do your packaging well and re-apply or you bone the stuff unless your mum in there not for long and she still has plenty months to stay in UK, All the best.

With your two degrees back home here in Nigeria will give you an advantage in securing better jobs rather than risking your life at war front in Iraq or Iran , even kuwait
Because this is the same thing a friend of mine was planning to do but in his own case, He is still an undergraduate, but i made him to realise that's not the best thing to do, If you know you are really interested in the Army job, why don't you come home and do Short Service course here at home where you will be made OGA [/b]than a place where you go dey serve like a [b]servant with the two degrees, Sorry oo, thats is my own view sha, all the best.

Try and mail their customer care,, i mean AIT to know the status of your application, But since they have given you a date for paper hearing , i guess they will change it, this is their website, www.ait.gov.uk

Their customer care is <Customer.Service@tribunals.gsi.gov.uk>
it will take 3-4days for them to reply you, but if they have changed it to oral, i think your lawyer and your husband will be there on the hearing date,

Appeals take 6-12 months before a decision is made,some can even be longer. My advise is that you should re-apply with your dad and that your dad's friends documents, as in his bank statement,sponsorship letter from him to the ECO,his origin of funds etc and he must let the ECO know reasons why he is supporting your dad in sponsoring you,
All these can work the magic, cos january will soon be here and i am sure, appeal results wont be ready by then,

your statement "To my own understanding, the fund in the account is much but it was stated in the ECO's appeal form that he needs to be sure that the Sponsor (my Uncle) has well over the total amount of my tution fees for the 2 years I'm to spend there. My question is, my Uncle can't do more than himself irrespective of the fact that he's a Banker"
Even if you have plenty of millions,they still say they are not convinced abt the origin of the money, so yours is never a new thing,ok, just try your luck again and be very plain, Use the same passport and let them know you have a pending appeal and reasons y you are putting in another application cos time is not on yur side, all the best,

Remember that your dad's friend is also supporting your sponsorship, you can use two sponsors,

D person sponsoring ur trip, what is the person's gain for sponsoring ur education? Of what benefit will the certificate be to you and ur sponsor If d sponsor is ur dad, ur position in the family is important, if tey use all the family money to sponsor you.wat of ur siblings if u you d first or second in a family of six?

why do you think you cant use your sister's account. You can with that or your dad. Just parkage your application well then put in your application.
If you can take your time to read this thread from the begining, it will do you good and am sure you will see that you still stand a good chance. Dont just be lazy.

Cos your dad is retired, you can claim you are the last born, if really you are not, and he does not have much financial comments to anyone, except you alone.Get that.

You can go ahead with the application. But make sure you include all those documents you talked about> Just pray and the Lord will help you.
Those white punks at the BHC at times do crazee.Most times they dont examine Visa application carefully even with all correct documentation submitted, they still refuse people.it is not about having millions in acct, but aw far you can defend the source of the pay.
