Your post have some iota of truth, though to a large extent is misleading....Sometimes friends dat exhibit such attributes are d realest...while the reverse is the case in many instances. .. The basic truth is, as we climb the ladder of life our circle of friends reduces...I can't be so successful and have more 10 best friend in ur circle. . We as humans are so used to some people and environment that we hardly let go even when they have passed dia time in our lives....some friends are just for some particular seasons in our life...our conscious or subconscious attitude of holding them back make them appear not friendly to us in many instances...simply because at that point in life our interest, ideas, life philosophy don't or hardly go in tandem. 8 Likes |

Op though I applaud your intention of creating a topic as such, without any pinch of salt I will say it is quite shallow as it lacks any convincing reason to change the mind of a person about to commit suicide reading it. . Sometimes I wish I could go back to my school days to relive those periods I was so oblivious about economy challenges, periods I never bothered about how to get my meals because i know its someones responsibility, periods i knew my only work was to read and pass my exams. Ironically, I will only change just some few decisions I made if i had to relive my past years.... . I give advice and encourage to anybody at any given opportunity, we as living beings have similar as well as different attributes, everyone have a level of shock he can contain., The only thing that can at-least keep him going when his innate fire is extinguish is encouragement from someone, hope insight or testimony from someone that had gone through similar circumstance.....that is why we should never pass up opportunities to encourage anyone at any given time....It could be life saving. . During my trying times, I tried virtually everything I could to no avail. I had to move from my base back to my father's house to stay under his roof again, what I had dreaded all my life. In-fact he was literally feeding me, giving me transport, buying toothpaste for me. I had no money, thought overwhelming me, pictures of my death mum who die during my nysc year staring me on my face because i knew she could had help me out, pictures of all my years of commitments and determination to become successful starring and laughing at me, intense feelings of despondency...thoughts of suicide...but I know I cant do it because of my family that had also gone through difficulties , cant compound their woes..the only son . The FEELINGS of pity for me was palpable on my father's face, friends and contemporaries having blissful careers, celebrating marriages, house warming parties and there i was still spoon fed. Dont get it twisted, i wasn't just sitting at home, during those periods I had traveled the length and breath of Nigeria, from Sokoto to lagos to kogi to edo etc trying my hand on all sort of legal things. At one time i resulted to smoking, drinking and even church for console. My brother is a long story, the idea is to make you know that a suicidal person might be well educated and enlightened than you could think. . I always advice people to try and discover their purpose for life, the day you discovered your purpose is the day you start living actually. For some people it takes days, for some it takes months, some it takes years while for some, they might never discover their purpose till they die. Once you dont discover your purpose most part of life will be frustrating and stressful, just like fixing a square peg in a round hole. 23 Likes 2 Shares |

Very good one from Zimbabwe, laws as such engage the bank to be stakeholders in ur business. Only if Africans start doing things their way...The whites never allowed us to grow naturally, growth process is gradually and sometimes procedural. We were forced to catch up with 21st century advancement in technology, reasons we can't compete because our growth wasn't organic. . WTF ......7month  , Habaaaaaaa . I sat outside an outlet yesterday waiting for a friend, sitted adjacent my position where some elderly looking hausa men discussing. Suddenly one hausa petty trader that walks around with all sort of traditional sexual enhancing drugs like burantashi, mai-reverse and all sort of names in hausa language depending on what your intention is during sexual intercourse. The surprising thing wasn't in the names given to the drugs but how the aged men where buying this drugs with enthusiasm, I wondered if it was their wives at home whom presumably are as old as they are that they will use such sex enhancing drugs on ? Now imagine if these set of men takes the drug and get home without Hajia on ground, they will definitely bounce on anything that has hole even if na chicken, reasons we have VVF cases, rape cases etc.. The point here is once these drugs are taking it multiplies your sexual prowess uncontrollably and most times makes you very wild during sexual intercourse at the expense of your health. During my service year, a custom security man took such drug, guess what, his joystick was erect nonstop for two days...He had to be rushed to medical emergency ward. . Just feel like encouraging someone today, please never never give-up, although the advise might seem outdated and a commonplace, but never give up please. Give it a try again and again and again. The best way to achieve success is to double your failure rate...Henry Ford. The odd against you might seem insurmountable, but again never give up please. Dont wallow in self pity or self imposed depression. Like a football player about taking a penalty, keep your eye on the ball and the post irrespective of the boos from the crowd. . One of the most difficult discoveries in life is to discover your purpose on earth, for some people it takes months, for some it takes years, for some it takes eternity. Most times, if you dont discover your purpose life could be very frustrating and stressful because you will always find yourself in scenarios you aint suited for, just like putting square pegs in round hole....you know how frustrating it could be. . If things ain't working out, please develop a plan or set a SMART goal for yourself.....set up strategies to meet the set goal, be resolute in your pursuit of the goal......NEVER NEVER NEVER grade your life progression base on comparison with your contemporaries or friends, it will subdue you and wear you out, life race is you and you alone. Create your own destiny, is in your hand...no destiny anywhere waiting for you. . . Again never ever nurse a suicidal ambition, Nigerian situation could be unbearable, but the goal you set and the resolve you embrace to reach that goal will always be your driving force to live.....reasons why it is very pertinent to set SMART goals and discover your purpose. .
