Jabioro:this are all speculations if she never died and was seen in Australia in 1986, you mean 31 year down no one saw her again, furthermore her arrest and demise all happened when Buhari was HOS, IBB became HOS in August 1985, and the Gloria Okon saga happened between April and May 1985 when Buhari was HOS, you see bros we believed in this populist news then but at this age find time to sit down and read the whole saga with an unbiased mind you will see that the case is not water tight. cheers |
Jabioro:Gloria okon did not die under IBB regime but Buharis precisely in May 1985, Gani fawehinmi was the one that robbed in IBB but the case was never proven, by the way why would a sitting president traffic heroin when he can just dip his hand into the cookie jar. What I want you to understand is rubbing someone on something he has never been convicted can be a libel and if IBB want he can sue him for saying he killed Dele giwa. As you said truly I was very young in 1985 but am now in my mid forties, and since you can remember a case like that of Okon certainly you must be someone in my generation or above and as such I expect to reason with the issue of libel |

Does sowore have any evidence that IBB killed Dele Giwa, if IBB should now use his powers on him he start shouting press freedom and intimidation. No court or any panel of inquiry accused IBB of killing Dele Giwa all is hearsay |

divicode:NDA started awarding degrees from 1985 and there first degree holder were those passed out 1990. The certificat certificat awarded before 1990 was equivalen to OND, they are admitted into 200L with it, i had about 5 officer at major rank that joined us back in 1993. By the way Buhari never attended NDA NDA was established in 1965 when Buhari was already a lietenant Buhari attended the British royal military training centre for h course |
Geography was under FASS then it means faculty of art and social sciences, some student get Bsc some g BA depending on your chosen electives Dino went to ABU through remedial studies and the requirement was 3 credits for only people from ELDS |
Sanchez01:I serve same time with Dino, we graduated 1999 but university senate approve the result in early 2000 and our service year was 99-2000 that started July 2000 and ended June 2001 so no be lie |
Is time for CBN to converge all rates in same place an equilibrium price should determined this is because the parallel market rate of 380 is almost the rate at which bank sell PTA which 375 and the CBN should reduce the spread between interbank and selling rate by banks the present 20% is very high infact the highest in the world at best it should be 5% just imagine the CBN give them dollars at 315 and they sell at 375, now if parallel market will sell at 375 too no one will go to bank bank buy because there is limit, trail or much documentation unless the banks drop their rate too thereby competing with the BDC for customers which will lead to drop in price, during the soludo and even sanusi era spread by BDC are hardly 5% sometimes just 2%. Those saying we should float the naira should have a rethink, most nations defend their currency, floating your currency is like opening up the borders of your country no customs, no immigration, no visa, no duty everyone and everything enters at will. Assuming Nigeria is a major multi product exporting country floating may be ok, but as it is our major export is oil which is very volatile, believe me if we float speculators will run this country down dollar will be N1000 in no time. @$50 per barrel Nigeria earn about $110M daily let's say 40% goes to the JV that means we will be left with $66m daily, I recommend a 50-50 approach between reserve and injection into the economy that means every week about $220M will be injected and $220M will be saved in the reserves. I believe the present intervention by CBN is necessary and very sustainable if there is the political will. |
modath:I will bookmark this page and remind you when it happens, cheers |
modath:is very simple dear, all the government need to do is continue with its interventions when it stabilizes they make it 50-50 between reserve and injection. Already hoarders are in panic they are also selling, there will soon be glut in the market, where supply exceed demand which will inturn lead to price depreciation, remember with a stable fx regime fdi will flow which I also in fx, and lastly remittances, this is another huge source of fx. Some people talk as if the CBN just give free dollars to bank, Nigeria earns in dollars from oil sales and we don't use dollar locally so the Government need naira to run the country therefore it needs to change this dollars earned to naira so the government must always change dollars to naira. Oil is just $50 imagine what will happen if it becomes a $70. About 70% of our dollar demand is for import of fuel rice and wheat, I with dangote refinary coming on board and and new drive in local rice and wheat production certainly dolla demand for for will drop by atleast 70% at this point there will even be excess dollars that may make the dollar to be even less than N200 but I government Should intervene via dollar mop up so so exporters will gain that I why I proposed proposed equilibrium price of N250 per dollar |
modath:With the downward trend of the dollar in the parallel market it may sooner than later be at par with the bank offered rate of 375, then people will stop going to bank for pta they will go to BDC where there is no limit of exchange and no much documentation. Hope the CBN will reduce the official exchange rate of the naira to like 250, personally I believe the naira should hobo around 250 at this rate local producers will also gain as well as importers, the 250 is sort of equilibrium price |
Boko Haram is money making venture for our securities. With so much money being made do you think this crises will easily end, as it is soldier make money, government official make money, NGO make money all in the name of Boko Haram and humanitarian gesture. I won't be surprised if some of the attacks are orchestrated by those making money out of the crises, so that the honey will keep flowing. |
So Kano has there own EFCC Hope it is not being used to witch-hunt opposition |
femi4:most of them are cunny, They just sit down look at trends an make possible predictions and term it prophecy, this time it back fired, dollar is 380 against his false prophecy of 600, sadly the gullible still see them as men of God |
NIM- Nigeria institute of Management Since you want to lecture there no much need for professional certification, just concentrate on Masters and Phd |
They want the house of rep to be a rubber stamp since the senate is proving stubborn, lie lie, we need a vibrant national assembly with opposition since PDP has failed in its duty to checkmate the ruling party with their internal wrangling. Democracy without opposition is useless |
pauldu21:they are not showing any match, they are now showing news pauldu21:
|
malware:dont mind them they want to be sensational and cause division if not there was no where in original hausa narrative was the victim said to be a pastor |
Even Kaduna town has no waterboard water regularly, they just bring it once once week, we all had to dig boreholes. |
Nchabuomo:I don't how old you are or when you graduated, but back in 2001 when I was a banker my bank had an employment test and it was open for everybody, the best in the test had 3rd class, and five people passed and employed when they were sent to training school this guy was best again with 85%, I learnt he l the bank I 2014 as an SM. Do you know that Tony elumelu owner of UBA graduated with 3rd class, do you know festus keyamo had a 3rd class, please dont look down to people with low grades some can be out of wickedness or some mishap and please judge people on what they can offer |
Dino may be a braggard, but the truth is our. Days( 90s) 3rd class is better than today's 2.2 by far. When I graduated in a class of about 100 students only 4 got 2.1, about 45 got 2.2, 45 got 3rd class and 6 got pass. Since I entered t university and left no on made 1st class we were told someone got 1st class in 1982 almost everyone excelled including those with pass infact one of them is now head of the parastatal, another on that had 3rd class is now a HOD HOD university with a Phd. Is all about determination not certificate |
LaEvilIMiss:Sister, you wrote as if Nigeria just dash out the dollars for free. Nigeria earns in dollars and when they wan to use the dollars earned to work on the infrastructures you mentioned they certainly need to change it to naira hence asking CBN to sell some so that contractors and salaries will be paid. Not everything earned is spent, that is why the foreign reserve grew from $25b to over $30B. As long as Nigeria earns in dollars and spend naira locally then it must change those dollars earned, and as long as oil is above $50 and there is peace in Niger delta if there is the political this policy can be sustained. Personally I wellcome a 50:50 between injection and reserve. |
odilibe:can I get paksat with a 2.4M dish in kaduna and what is the best decorder to use as I only have an alphabox and qsat for now |
A meagre 25 Billion |
:PThese days degree are very cheap, in my days about 25-30% of people graduate with 3rd class, in my year of graduation only 4 people in dept made 2.1 out of almost 100, no first class since I entered the school till I left, the 3rd class of the 90s is better than today's 2.2 One thing I notice about most people toward Dino is envy and jealousy, he is son of nobody but hustled through life and made it and he is outspoken. Dino should just sue the ass of SR and that exam officer and make his life miserable next time he won't say something he has not confirmed |
blexxonmak:can this paksat be tracked in kaduna with a 2.4m dish? |
What will you do if you see the exchange rate of 1983.? That was when naira was naira |
DocHMD:By God's grace your prophecy will not materialize infact dollar will be at least N250. As long as we sell crude at above $50 and there is peace in Niger delta dollar will keep crashing. Hoarders will cry, saboteurs will have high bp |
