Your last sentence was an error. There is nothing big about someone that gets his sense of importance from an anonymous online forum dominated by teenagers that lack the capacity for critical reasoning and logic. This is actually who he is, an ethnic bigot that thinks his lack of true success in life is due to some imaginary enemy in opposition or a section of the country. Na where to chop hin dey find.

You killed the show even before it started.

I would believe that my fore fathers were genuinely tolerant to the missionaries for my own mental health.

I would believe this just as the white man made himself believe that he is superior.

It is a game of the mind, we should change our story to suit our consumption and escape from this self pity ('our story' we dont really know due to poor records)
A white man steals billions from a Nigerian bank, Indians, chinese, lebanese all steal our natural resources(albeit with the aid of fellow Nigerians) underpay and over work their Nigerian staff and we call them them sir or master and you call that tolerance? Whereas a Nigerian steals a hand bag or is even accused of theft and gets burnt to death.

If what is going on today is anything to go by, I'd say my initial comment is correct
Webmasters › Re: How To Place Ads On Facebook by hahn(m): 10:23pm On May 17, 2015
Nice. I recently boosted an ad on fb, my first time, and I paid with my gtb mastercard. I've gotten the likes and traffic but my account hasn't been billed yet. Do you have any idea on how long it takes before my account is billed or do fb have a specific billing date?

Thanks in anticipation of your reply

JideTheBlogger:
mikketech , I do that everyday...

Go to www.facebook.com/advertising to set up your first facebook ad. I recommend you create a Facebook page before creating the ad. eg if you want to use fb ads to drive traffic to a news blog, you can create a community facebook page with title similar eg Breaking News in Nigeria. Some advertisers also use celebs names because they are cool keywords wink wink wink

If you've created a Nigerian paypal account, use it as your means of payment. You can also use GTB Naira mastercard, Access bank visa card or UBS Africard

The kind of ad you will create will depend on what you want to promote.

If you just want to use it to drive traffic to your blog, you can select sponsored stories or boost directly from your facebook page.

So many optimization tips but I can't continue now. Wanna go and catch fun. You can ask me any question.

wink wink wink

Parable of the lost coin
Luke 19:11-27

The verse in particular
For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.

From the story what it means is that if you are given a gift or riches and you do not sow it (invest it to multiply it) then it shall be taken from you and given to the person who had multiply (enriched) his own.
Literally, if you have something and you cannot use it to make money and remain poor, even that small one you have will be taken from you and given to those who are using their gift to make money.
It is a spiritual principle to use for your prosperity and not something to be afraid of. Look around you, someone is using their talent to get money from you, instead of you to be on the defensive, trying not to make people use you, be on the offensive, try developing what you have to make money out of others. That is the circle that keeps the world round, join it instead of being a spectator
Nice one. So on point

A deity that destroyed some tower buh couldn't stop rockets from going outside space. lmao... But i think i like Greek mythology over jewish mythology. greek mythology is more colourful and interesting
Same here. However, if there is one thing Jewish mythology has over Greek mythology is marketing. The Brits really came up with one hell of an idea to market the jewish stories.

Imagine Nigerians dressing up in suits believing they are being christians when even Jesus himself, according to the fables, wore gowns. And they say they are following him. Yeah, right

Op, you forgot that add that most christians on their way back from church didn't bother to help him. I guess they will wait till next Sunday to ask for forgiveness from God.

Oh, what a country! One can't even call an ambulance to help the guy up. No first aid. No police officer on the scene to begin investigations and ensure the victim is taken care of.

Don't get me wrong, he might be a cult member himself. That's how they roll.

But the situation in this country is truly appalling. Its either god doesn't exist or he just doesn't care

When I come across people like u, I just shake my heard. Thank God u said they use the money for the work of God. You didn't say they use the money to sponsor prostitution or the likes. People like u end up in cult, selling ur souls to the devil just to earn a living. Get closer to this folk u r scorning, compare ur life with theirs. U will remain begging from them yet scorning and scoffing at them. The more u scorn, the better than u they get. King David said, "I will not give to my God that which Cost me nothing", at one stand solomon offered a thousand animals to his God. Abraham gave his only son, the Widow gave everything she had, Everything, home and abroad. No transport to go home, no food in the house for the Children, no husband to provide. She knew the worth of her God, she gave everything. And here u are, an Apostle of satan whose life will remain dry even if u join illuminatti. At leaast satan made it that, illuminatti is not for the brainless and talentless losers like u. Go get a life, because right now u have none. Tell us the truth, you are witch right? When u see or hear people doing Gods work it pintches U. Sorry u came too late, the gate of hell ur dwelling place cannot prevail over the church of Christ. And that pastor family took u in, fed u and gave u a good life, here u r scorning them. Hurry along and bring the curse of God upon u. For the curse of the Lorf is in the house of the wicked "ProV 3:33. Run along.
Lol. Talk about "shocking".

But, i don't know the kind of profitable business i can put it on. Pls, help me as i don't want to lose my hard earned money. Thanks
Go to Lagos Island and find out where good shirts are sold. Buy some and sell to people in your neighbourhood. Some shirts that sell for 2k can be sold for 5k if you have good customers.

When you get to Lagos Island, don't let those guys there hustle you though. Go and meet the owner of the shop and explain that you want to go into business with him.

Business is very simple. Buy something at N1 and sell at N3-N10. Deduct your delivery fee and other expenses and you get your profit. Repeat this procedure over and over again.

Hope this helps
Culture › Re: The Tolerant African by hahn(m): 12:15pm On May 17, 2015
I don't believe it has much to do with tolerance. The British were clearly on a mission to come to Africa and colonise the natives thus establishing their rule and spreading the tentacles of their empire. They were met by natives who at the time were totally unaware that the world was changing while they remained the same, marrying wives and giving birth to children for no reason, and who were also bewildered by the huge ships that brought this fully clothed, heavenly looking, magic stick(gun) weilding "gods" with their magical gifts(mirrors, clothes, bicycles) as well as their "heavenly tales" of their own god who was supposedly greater than ours.

I believe the inferiority complex that is so often exhibited even today by the black man towards the white man was what enabled us be "tolerant" of the white man. We immediately felt that everything the white man said was true and everything our forefathers ever taught us had to be a lie. Afterall, our gods never gave us guns nor dropped bicycles from the sky. Plus their god gave them big ships, clothings and a funny/superior accent.

The reason why this "tolerance" isn't easily extended to other black men is because we almost intuitively conclude that every other black man is not as good as the white man and thus the low opinion we have about ourselves is often extended to our kin.
Christianity Etc › What's The Most Shocking Church Experience You've Ever Had? by hahn(op): 12:00pm On May 17, 2015
When I was much younger, my mom "forced" me to go to church with her. She had just become born again while I was away in boarding school and she was becoming a real fanatic.

On this day, after a lot of arguments I finally decided to go with her. The name of the church was grave envagelism mission(something like that) located at Cannal estate in Okota. It was Sunday school or something, very early and as soon we got into the church and caught the pastor in the middle of his preaching saying and I quote, "Some people believe that the church is a bank where you can withdraw money after depositing it. Don't believe that when you pay offering you can come back to the church to ask for help. The church is not a charity organisation". Needless to say, I collected the keys to the house from my mom and went back home to continue my previously interrupted sleep.

Another one is at Christ Embassy. There was a certain time that I used to live with one of their pastors. They have this annual partnership and they give out awards to their "partners". Basically, "partners" are people who donate money to the church for various reasons like their daily devotional aka rhapsody of realities, their tv show etc. First of all, you can't attend the event if you're not a partner and haven't donated a minimum of N50,000 to the cause. Needless to say, I watched the event via their media stream at one of the branches. What was shocking was that the person to receive the first award and being number 100 in the top donors list donated about N100million. Don't ask about number 1. Truly, the church is a very big business.

I've had other shocking experiences in church that make the whole religion thing look like a big hoax. Which I've come to discover it actually is.

Kindly share your own experiences and let's have a laugh today.
Culture › Re: The African Woman Culture Of Immitation by hahn(m): 5:18am On May 17, 2015
Another hypocritical thread aimed at bashing, once again, the African woman.

@op, first of all, you have to understand that ALL women irrespective of race are never truly satisfied with their looks and thus they all apply make up, add weavons, bleach or tan to change their skin tone, do surgery etc.

Secondly, they do this all to please US the men. You come here acting like its all their fault but have failed to point out that the average Nigerian man prefers a light skinned lady with long hair. To women its all a competetion and since the men are carried away by what they see, women have had to adjust to be at the top of their game.

You should create another thread and try to convince Nigerian men to appreciate black women more. If the men start putting black women with afros above the light skinned ladies with long silky hair then women will adjust. No matter how much they try to hide it, women dress to impress men and are greatly influenced by our preferences.

Meanwhile, this women bashing really has to stop. Only men with low self esteem bash women in such a manner. A real man tries as much as possible to raise the self esteem of his woman by showing love and affection. Not by bashing
