How I wish people understand this message, when minimum wage is doubled it doesn't translate to double your salary as a Civil Servant, the consequential adjustment wouldn't still translate to double ones salary

Usually level 8 in Lagos get about 125k so the take home can be 155k if na Buhari dan man will nvr listen.

Your annual Personal Income Tax (PAYE) is N59,100
While monthly PAYE is N4,925

Assumptions:
There is what we called:
A. Tax relief which N200k + 20% of your Annual gross pay.
B. Tax exemptions include the following;
1. National housing fund (NHF) 2.5% of your annual gross pay = N30,000
2. Contributory pension which is 8% of your annual gross pay = N96,000
3. Life assurance premium: you didn't disclose any.
4. National health insurance scheme (NHIS) premium: you didn't disclose whether you paid for NHIS or not.

These tax reliefs and exemptions shall be deducted from your gross pay before applying tax rates

However, your employer or tax authority may not grant you these exemptions when they computed your tax thus making amount you paid as tax or PAYE higher.

Not really long but could take some of them 3-4 months to start earning reasonable amount of money online at least $500-$1000 is not bad for beginners
