Politics / Re: How Would You Solve The Insecurity Issue In Nigeria If You Were The President? by hakymbiyiyaho: 9:35am On Apr 06, 2021
My comment is very late but let me give my own opinion. If i found myself in that position, there will be carrot and stick policies that will make everyone stick to their duties. All security chiefs will be on the same level and each tribe will go and man his or her region to zero crime rate.

All will always report to me and there shall be reward for any chief whose region is well secured for every quarter while punishment shall be met on the one who fails to perform.

They will be pushed to work with the local securities, the kings and the peace loving citizens who knows the crime points in every region.

I will ensure all those who work with the service chiefs must learn how to use/ operate DRONE to be able to locate criminals. Then jobless suspect who did not fall during attack by the forces gets a reasonable job.

Investment / Re: How Pension Managers Are Cheating Nigerians by hakymbiyiyaho: 1:44pm On Oct 25, 2013
Sorry to say "A MAN WHO DOES NOT READ HAVE NO ADVANTAGE ON THE MAN WHO CANNOT READ" every complaint by individuals must be accompanied by evidence to prove his genuiness. As far as the PENSION SCHEME is concerned today there is nothing like stealing or bribery before processing, any payment that must be made by each PFA must be in BATCHES to the PENCOM for approval that on its own takes another period for verification before go final approval. Bribery according to the PENCOM ACT 2004 does not allow even ordinary GIFT from clients, so whoever says his mother is buying credit or whatever to get her money should report that to the CONCERNED PFA's management or PENCOM for further action and also the woman in question should endeavour to complete all her requirements for the collection of her money and go for verification when called upon that shows she is nearing her money. I am a staff of a Pension industry and i have seen a lot of about the scheme it really helps a lot i will advise those who are not into it to go and do it no matter how small your money is. TRY TO SUFFER YOURSELF FOR YOUR GREY HAIR in the nearest future.
Tell me how it will be easy for somebody to STEAL money contributed by 2 bodies (Employer & Employee) then monitored by 3 Bodies (PFA, CUSTODIAN & PENCOM) so this is why it takes all theses long before the money comes out because we don't want Mr. BARAJE to claim Mr. BARALE's money because their names look alike and they work almost in thesame organisation. So there is a need for serious scrutinity before the money lands.

Instance clients were seen physically before the beginning of the transaction, but during the transactions we saw only payment on computers and send alert to the owner for evidence of payment also stmt of account every quarter to see how the transaction goes, so how will i know if the person is dead if the money keeps coming and one day somebody just come up and say he wants to collect his father's PENSION for where this is money matter and nobody wants to go to jail. So there is need for more investigation and verification of the ownership of the account. My name is BIYI working for FIRST GUARANTEE PENSION LIMITED. Car Talk / Re: Would You Accept Or Reject '419' Number Plate? by hakymbiyiyaho: 8:42am On Aug 30, 2013
419 is just a section in our constitutional law which described a particular punishment for any offender who by any way or chance collect money from others. So it should not be seen as a problem if given as a plate number, but our police must not relax as well. see below

Chapter 38

Obtaining Property by false pretences; Cheating

418. Any representation made by words, writing, or conduct, of a matter of fact, either past or present, which representation is false in fact, and which the person making it knows to be false or does not believe to be true, is a false pretence.

419. Any person who by any false pretence, and with intent to defraud, obtains from any other person anything capable of being stolen, or induces any other person to deliver to any person anything capable of being stolen, is guilty of a felony, and is liable to imprisonment for three years.

If the thing is of the value of one thousand naira or upwards, he is liable to imprisonment for seven years.

It is immaterial that the thing is obtained or its delivery is induced through the medium of a contract induced by the false pretence.

The offender cannot be arrested without warrant unless found committing the offence.

But how many Political Party are we going to have? Who are the real and true followers of AWOLOWO? What is the aim of this people for erecting a party that has become a story in the history of Nigeria.
These are my question as to what the Dr. Fredrick Fasheun is trying to luminate in the country, we have not had enough from the existing ones and yet he is trying to bring in another one.Instead of wasting that money on miscreant why not use it to help the needs. There are hundreds of the youth out there searching for how to make their days, students in the school who are yet to pay their school fees. Fasheun should learn to be a CHARITY GIVER and not a careless founder who lost the mantle of power to Gani Adam all in the name of inefficiency, negligent and friendly with Police/govt.He should just know that people are watching and be guided.

brownlord: Arrant nonsense, opon imo abi na kpomo imo, i still do not know the brain behind aregbe's useless policy, Osun state is still the most backward state in terms of education, am presently serving here and i can say this is a wrong step by the state governor, a state where they dont have up to 3 teachers, they rely solely on corpers and OYES ( teaching practice student ) for teaching this children, in my school only 5 staff, 1 principal, 2 vps and 3 teachers, only 2 of the teachers go to school, the school is about the best in the local government and i wonder what would be happening in the rest, this is the only state that an ss3 student can not speak common pidgin english fluently not to talk of writing it down, student still sit on the ground and a few bring chairs from home, there is no desk in class, our government only engage in project that would benefit them, am sure the money he looted from the so called omoluabi uniform is finished and they looking for avenue to loot more, theres been several occasions for days there would be no chalk in school, during test and exams this children sit on the ground to write exams, why cant aregbe employ more qualified staffs/teachers instead of relying on corpers who come and go and Osun state college of education who most times they themselves cant even speak english, in my school a teacher was caught teaching english with yoruba, if i have the time i will post some script of this student test and exam on this forum for this man to be engaging in all this useless project that would not stand the test of time, in their just concluded waec, even the invigilators from waec are the one pleading with corpers to assist the student, is just a shame for people who are not in the state to be celebrating aregbe for this failed policy

Politics / Why Is Nigeria Government Given Bullet To Police? by hakymbiyiyaho: 3:23pm On Jan 09, 2013
Fellow nigerian this is an issue that has been bothering me for a long time. In the begining, Nigeria Police is seen as the solution to every problem that may emanate from anywhere in the country. Most nigerians can run into the bush whenever they hear the name of police when the force still use brown or white khaki with batton (stick)in their hands. there was no extra judicial killing and things were moving smoothly.

Not long that the government of nigeria introduce the use of Gun to the Police than the evil begins to befell our strong and feary "civilian force".Everythings seems to be falling apart when police begins to threating to kill you. This does not happen in the past but how come does this excel in our society. I want to remind you of our government publication that 'POLICE IS YOUR FRIEND" but reverse is the case by the time you tried to be friend to a police you will be surprised that you have become a victim of circumstances.

My question now is that why is Nigerian goverment given out bullets to Police since they know they are friends and are meant to protect properties and life. But instead lives are being wasted on daily basis by these compusory friends of the people. may i have your view
Career / Re: Are Technicians Better Than Engineers In Nigeria? by hakymbiyiyaho: 2:49pm On Jan 09, 2013
Well i wouldn't know if technician are all that bad or if engineer are expert in their various field but I as a Technician, i can understand the purpose of my work, the techniques behind its origination and how to make a research for more and conducive way of florish in the society. Technician varies on levels as well among which we have the school cert. holders,Ond,Ntc and co.Before you can become professioner you must have passed through some difficult trainings both practical and theory even alternative to practical as ppl do call it. If technicians all around the country decide to stop work today how many engineers will revive the falling companies.

If i can detect a fault with my experience and understanding and find a lasting solution, will you compare me with the engineer that will still carry his encylopaedia to trace the fault before things get done?

Is it not the engineers who are employed in the NEPA that kills our electricity today, book and money can not take us to anywhere we shuold at least make use of our skill, minister and commissioner for power in nigeria only knows how power is generated but do not know how to increase power or plan for future. Let the government employ technicians to that field and see the difference.

Most medical drugs are from herbs.the difference is a lot of research has gone into ensuring the side effects and doses to ensure they are safe.for every medical drug administered all possible effects and doses can be defended, thats why companies spend millions of dollars on research.

so someone by the roadside or some unknown company offers u unverified herbs to cure all.....and you buy for yourself and ur child?
I'll say "choose ur poison",but choose wisely.

Hello! Agbo is not a poison, what makes you people reason like this is the way it is being abused by Agbero and some street hawkers. Politics / Re: Okada Riders Damaged 42 Buses – LAGBUS, LAMATA by hakymbiyiyaho: 10:50am On Oct 24, 2012
Itohen: The management of LAGBUS Assets Management Ltd on Tuesday said that 37 of its buses were damaged during the protest by commercial motorcycle riders in Lagos on Monday.

The company is one of the operators of buses using the dedicated Bus Rapid Transit lanes in the metropolis.

Mr. Babatunde Disu, Managing Director of LAGBUS, told the News Agency of Nigeria that in spite of the damage, no passenger was injured.

Disu said that the company was still taking stock.

Mr. Kolawole Ojelabi , the External Relations Specialist of the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority, another operator on the BRT lane, said five buses owned by the authority were damaged.

Ojelabi said the quick intervention of policemen prevented further damage.

He said, “Although commuters were stranded at our bus stations because ticketers were not on the ground, we commenced operation immediately normalcy returned.

Meanwhile, those who spoke with NAN condemned the action of the motorcyclists..

Mr. Oladele Banjo, a civil servant, who resides at Sango and works in Ikoyi, said he had to trek from Ikoyi to CMS because of the crisis.

Another civil servant, Mrs. Ibukun Adegbesan, said, “It is unlawful for certain people to hold the state to ransom for selfish reason.”

“The law is operational and commercial motorcyclists have to abide by it; after all some states have enforced the law and yet heads did not roll.

A banker, Mr Ralph Edet, said that the vandalism was a foolish way of protesting because the buses are for the masses.

“Nigerians should learn not to destroy government property as a way of showing their grievances because it causes a setback to the economy,’’ Edet said

NAN reported that due to the protest, most commuters were stranded while others had to trek to their destinations.

There is nothing as good as dialogue with the State government and point out the ways of operation even on the high ways. These guys should also know that it is very important for them to have association in groups and with colour code for identification incase any one of them commits law offence he would be made to face the music by himself.
Fashola is not stupid for making the law but for our own good, i think we should join hand in sanitising any act of indicipline from our environment. If they are responsible fathers and husbands they should be ashame of vandalising peoples properties.
Politics / Re: Fashola, Obi Disagree On Geo-political Zones, Constitutional Amendment by hakymbiyiyaho: 2:48pm On Oct 19, 2012
naptu2: They didn't exactly disagree. I think the disagreement part was just a bid by the journalist to hype the story. I agree with both of them.

1) I agree with Fashola. We might have the best constitution in the world, but it would be pointless if we don't change the behaviour of the people.

Constitutions are not perfect documents and there is no perfect constitution, because constitutions are made by humans who are imperfect. No matter what constitution we have, people will still find a loophole in it with which they'll do whatever they want. Should we obey the spirit or the letter of the constitution?

Furthermore, a constitution is a document that does not enforce itself. How will the people charged with interpreting and enforcing the constitution behave?

Mind you, Fashola stated clearly that he is not against constitutional change, but he believes that this should go hand in hand with behavioural change.

2) I also agree with Obi. In order to
secure compliance with the constitution and to foster peace and unity, the people must have confidence in the constitution and believe that it is fair and protects their rights and interests.

Yes good write up, mere going by the duo statements, let me give an instance"in the national assembly, our reps. tend to create violence in the name of disagreement thereby throwing chairms and blow at one another" but no punishment meted on these set of ppl yet they remain in the same place as reps.

So i deem it fit to understand our constitution and take to it by making a change from our own ends. So both are still saying thesame thing. Experienced and intelligent ppls sat down and created this laws for our own good, we are the one trying to basterdize it.Another is our Police stations where you see "BAIL IS FREE" but you won't be released from the stations without a penny even if you are an innocent so let us reason well. Islam for Muslims / Re: Saudi Arabia Detains 400 Nigerian Female Hajj Pilgrims by hakymbiyiyaho: 3:42pm On Sep 24, 2012
Edithamazoya: I am not a muslim but I think if this rule has not been there before now as Nigerians have been attending Hajj before now, then they should have been informed before travelling that they need male escort. The question is, did they inform the pilgrims before hajj that the need to come with a male escort? Somebody said women should not be allowed to go to such religious rites without men. I ask, as a christian, how many of our men go with their wives to Jerusalem? Lets be fair in our judgement.

The issue I see here is that every country is beginning to take Nigeria for a ride and until our government steps up and take a good stand against this, we will continue to face this embarrassment.

Thumb up!! As far as am concerned Saudi may have a hidden agenda against this issue, history has never tell that pilgrim women should have a male companion but except if she is weak or sick bla bla bla!!.Another thing is that our so called Sultan should hasten to Saudi and find a lasting solution to this cos there is no any prove evidence that these ppl have not announced it to the pilgrims before hand, tell me how other women escaped this, which means they are aware of the information but acted on their own way. Sultan should defend this challenge and stop clamour for deportation resistance by the women ni ilu oni ilu.

Let them shed more light on this and besides why is it the Northerners?

Tisa: I can't help but wonder how nigeria n nigerians will be if we had held on to the religions of our ancestors rather than the two imported religions that has given way to the prevalence or everything bad in our societies.

I know we will want to say things like "God forbid" but truly most of the evils happening today would not be happening if people know they will receive instant judgment from the likes of Sango, Ayelala, Ogun, Amadioha etc. Imagine a pastor violating an 11yrs old girl in the name of deliverance or the common wasting of lives in the name of money rituals. I know in Yoruba land that if someone was killed unlawfully by another person, the family of the dead can summon the spirit of the dead relative to go torment n kill those that committed such evil against it hence hearing of people being killed in those days was rare but these days the family of the dead will "leave it to God to Judge".

I think all this looting by our politicians, robbing of innocent motorists by latsma or is it lastma, ritual killings, religious robbery etc are all common cos the perpetrators know they can ask GOD for forgiveness b4 they die and will be forgiven hence d dead person died in vain.

What do u guys think? I think we shd retrace our steps cos it seems these two imported religions doesn't suit us.

Please I want us to debate this as matured people. Make ur case with good points and don't let's resort to abusing ourselves. We need to move forward as a people. By my own understanding and what have seen so far the ancestral religion was good but cruel and somehow partial in judgement that is why a yoruba addage says "OGUN NII SI NI MU, EPE KII SI NI JA" (The war kills innocents by mistake but curses never act on tye innocent)as i can translate it.It is no doubt that ppl do appease the gods for their wrong doings in those days to avoid any reaction from them while we also do thesame in todays religion but mostly these gods do nothing to defaulters except they were being sent or molested in the name of the person to be punished.
Like somebody going as far as pouring salt on the head/ the shrine of ESU (devil)instead of oil that should be its food in the name of another man.

So, even if our politician swear with the calabash of blood in their hands and later commited breach of that oath, nothing will happen to them except that we take action by that same thing he uses during his swearing in, like wise today when ppl carry coffin bcs of IBB,OBJ&GEJ to chase them out of office or kill them. These are the set of ppl who use todays scripture such as bible and quran so what are we saying.

The imported religions is as good as given us clothes, shoes, houses, some other lively things and also created cultural and social integration amongst the nation of the world if well understood. Those who brought these religions are very intelligent and of good behaviour worth of emulation bt we have received it only to bastardized it as well. If you ask me how
