@Acidtalk,Stop saying that Nigerian Banks refuse to pay your money because its not possible.Unless you are liquidating before the expiration time and they can delay the liquidation.This is a public forum and on sensitive issues you need to clarify yourself.I have been fixing money with banks in Nigeria while away and I know that they frown at liquidation and most of the times they liquidate your money one week after the expiration but they will still remmit your money into your account and most of those cases is the fault of the greedy account officer trying to reap from your money.

@OP,It exist already.You can buy your car virtually from any part of the world without going through any dealer.There are some popular Japanese websites doing it big when it comes to clean second hand Japanese cars and you will be amazed the kind of offer prices you get from them.Very attractive!

My advice for you is to save the money in a Nigerian Bank and work for me because that 5M is not enough to survive the different challenges you may encounter.And before coming to Nigeria to actually do business you might need to start experimenting from wherever you are like register a company through your family and start using this company to do small scale business.There are tons of businesses that you can do on small scale level from textile,services,transportation,electronics supply,communication equipment,e.t.c.And this way you can gather experience but you need to have someone back home to run errands for you.

Access Bank Contact Center staffs are great!But you have to know that most time these people have limited power to tackle issues with corrupt staffs at the branches.I liked Access Bank before but recently I have noticed that the bank has a system which allows their staff to cheat you especially when it comes to Fixed Deposit rate and other fixed income products.Also deduction of money from your account for service that you didnt subscribe for.I presently hate that bank especially stealing from me through rates on deposit while the normal rate is published on their site.Sending money to another bank is also war and am just waiting to wrap up my shit with them and move my accounts elsewhere.

@Poster,Most of the people that you observed to be tenants when they are back in Nigeria owns nice houses but probably in location that is insecure to live.I am talking from experience,I have one duplex and a four bedroom flat in the same compound in Lagos but not the part where I will feel safer so if I will live in Nigeria,I will try to build something in a better enviroment which is very difficult due to lack of lands but my final option is to rent one in a better location that can match where I am living in abroad.

@OP,Get the school address in Ibadan if you can,hire a private investigator to find the his location but before then petition EFCC ofcourse with the help of a lawyer.And once you spot him,just arrest him and make sure you demand for more money.

Access Bank as at today has the best internet banking model.I was surprised myself and for your information you will create your username and password yourself and you will do all transactions on their self service platform.I was pessimistic at first when they took over Intercontinental bank.You will feel safer also and they are even better than GTB because I also bank with GTB and the difference is the simplicity and safety.

You cant send money through western union from Nigeria according to the law in Nigeria last time I checked but your best bet is to fix this issue with internet banking with your bank and you can do all banking transactions conveniently.Call customer service of first bank or mail them with all your needs and they will gladly help you but just make sure you remember all data or info used when you opened the said account.Goodluck.

If you want to know when money is paid into your account is very simple just ask your bank to alert you via email so that any transaction to your account will be sent to you.You should call first bank customer service and inquire about all these and you can even ask if money is been deposited into your account.They will ask you for the account number and they will tell you instantly.They will also put you through on how open internet banking.Your situation is very simple and there is no need to be worried just contact them and things will be more easier than you think.Any further question,feel free to ask here.I had similar problems with all my banks in Nigeria and everything is under control now and I can do whatever I want as if I am in Nigeria.

Its very easy talking from experience....But you need to contact your bank incase you dont have internet banking to write a duly signed instruction for the transfer and they will send you a form which you will fill your details and that of the beneficiary and the recipient will get the money within 5 working days.

But the best way is to have internet banking e.g access bank internet portal is the best right now and you can do virtually everything on their self service page without contacting the bank including transfer money outside Nigeria.As for firstbank they have internet banking also and with that you can check your account anytime 24hrs a day but you should check their website for details,you can as well make international transfer.You dont need to be in Nigeria before setting up any of the internet banking account with these banks.Check www.firstbanknigeria.com
