A minister of transportation for the whole country is far more lucrative financial wise than the minister for FCT, u know why, everything about FCT ministry circles round the Abuja metropolis and its environment, but minister of transportation oversees both road, rail and maritime when it comes to transportation. Don't forget during Amaechi's tenure, Aviation never had any senior minister but a Junior minister (Hadi Sirika). So Rotimi was overseeing everything. As for Wike, remember the President and the Senator representing FCT would always checkmate him.

For the fact that his tenure could be renewed and Tinubu refused him that right is an indication that he is no longer useful in that regard. Even if he is given another post to compensate their ojoro in the last election, it still doesn't change the fact that he has been used and dumped. QED!

I thought Chief Wole Olanipekun had something important to say, little did I know he was just show casing redundancy and diminishing return in wisdom. In as much as I agree with Wike in his job of sanitizing the capital City, there would have been a better way of punishing those bikemen than crushing their bikes. This is an affirmation on my earlier comment that Nigeria is not ready to go out of woods in the nearest future. Multiply 5bn by 36 states with FCT and tell me if 185bn cannot go a long way in revamping our refineries.

The truth is that a senator is higher in ranking when compared with a minister, but because of the kind of presidential system of govt in the country, a minister with the influence of the president can rise above the senator especially in terms of emoluments.

On family planning, I have advise her to stop giving birth for now until things normalize.
