Why do nigerians celebrate when a relative passes away This is more peculiar with christians from the south. I need a honest answer. |
Yah dis is somewhat true but i recon its because one has to b really wise to survive in lagos. |

I respect the fact that a lot of igbos love ojukwu but remember not all nigerians are igbo. I have read countless articles about him and I think he was an intelligent person but not a war hero as most igbos think of him, he caused a war that he clearly knew he wouldn't win and ran away withouth seeing the end of it, I guess if most have seen d documtary of the civil war they wouldn't want to hear the name of ojukwu not to talk of celebrating his life. |
nooooooooooooooooooooo! why? |
Dats why I adore d islamic way of burial, you die today and you get buried today to reliev your family of the grief and hassle of spending a lot of money. Dats what simplicity really means. |
@queensmith: In as much as the United State is concerned every country must obey its rules or else face its wrath through UN or NATO. Not mingling with them would make them say that the Nigerian Government is trying to rebel against them just like Gaddaffi. Nowadays they can't afford to send troops and finance wars in counrties they want to get fully established in because they have realised that it is too expensive realising this through the pointless war going on in afghanistan rather they have other tactics to sort out problems in more subtle ways. (NOTE: I'm a muslim but not a terrorist and I don't fight against western legislations, so don't think that what I mentioned is coming out from a radical) |
The main problem is the bandwagon behind it i.e my friend has got one so I need one too even though i can't afford it. I remember being asked by a friend what phone I had and when i told him i've a Samsung galaxy s2 he looked at me with so much digust because it wasn't a BB even though Samsung galaxy s2 is way better than all BB phones put together. |
I'm not surprised cos Celebrities get paid for things like this, when I say pay I mean a lot of money. I saw this in a documtary about how celebrities gain attention from the press and dere other dirty little games. |
I was once involved in a relationship of this sort (i mean loveless) although mine lasted for only six months or just a little bit longer. I became friends with this congolese girl and we were quite nice to each other not knowing that the girl was better of as a friend than someone to love. One hopeful and gracious day I decided to put myself together and tell her about my feelings for her, she accepted and acknowledged that she felt thesame way too. I realised I had made a massive mistake when we started dating cos O boy! there wasn't any connection at all, one reason was because she was more fluent in french than in english though she understood and spoke english (not very fluently) and I spoke a little bit of french but it was to no avail. I tried all I could to ascertain a romantic connection between us but nothing came out of it, she always kept everything to herself even though I knew their was something bothering her. In the presence of others she behaved really nicely but when I'm alone with her she's as a mute as a radio with a broken speaker. Well I got a bit tired of everything and half way through the relationship I started doing some investigation about the girl I called my own, surprisingly I found out that she was once going out with a friend of mine who was meant to get married to her but couldn't cos his parents didn't approve though they were still romantically involved (in sort of a pseudo way). The way I actually put myself together in telling her how I felt about her in the first instance was thesame way I told her that I no longer cared about her (in a polite way obviously). Well some of you might think that the move I took was a bit harsh but I taught about it carefully and realised that she was better of with the other guy than I. This happened three years back but I still havn't fell in love with any lady cos I just think its not really worth it playing with my emotions all in the name of having a girlfriend which I'm certainly not going to get married to. |
I think we've all heard this before but the main question is: "how long will it last?" a week and then fail? |
Well her name already spells it all cos Zina means adultery or furnication in arabic n hausa, wat a name. |
Laugh wan tear my belle hear!, e b like seh dem pay this guy wear this thing cos no sane guy go open eye wear this kind cloth on in wedding day, chai na wa ohh, LOL |
I'll rather stick with my samsung galaxy SII than dis piece of expensive useless toy. To all u BB lovers if u buy one you'll definitely regret it, to cut it shut buy an iphone 4s or something similar instead cos I've had a go at it and its rubish, @ OP: nice joke "lmao" |

She's a bit blunt, how can she advice people to be themselves and then say that she's a gaga person in her own way. |
You'll have to convert the video to an ipad format and then click on the "file" option on itunes. In the drop down options their should be one called "add file to library" which will allow you select you convetered ipad video, and then sync your ipad to itunes, easy pizzy lemon squeeze. You can get an ipad converter from: http://www.imtooroducts-win-download.html (select the option with the the name "imTOO iPad converter" ![]() A little piece of advise I'm not trying to mock you or anything but I suggest you sell it n get yoursell a descent android honeycomb tablet like the samsung galaxy tab, motorola xoom or asus transformer cos they are a lot less of a hassle to use. I guess u bought it because of the bandwagon dat goes with d ipad isn't it but now you've realised how difficult it is to use. |
