Had a friend with the same issue, industrial chemistry two times, but then he tried the third time(which he said was his last) and he got pharmacy.

Good idea. I support but she should also focus the energy on the corrupt set of lecturers there. Their own too much and it gets worse every year

I am in my sense better than u and ur papa. I wanted to tell u how u people are insane in worshipping Jesus Christ who has anus, and penix ,it doesn't matter if i have use or seen a good toilet or i use to shitt in the bush. I am not a God or his prophet u dnt need to compare me with Jesus,he is more than me in anything as a prophet of God but i was indicating to u that a God can never go to toilet to defeacate as Jesus Christ does,am telling u a God can never come out via woman's vagina no matter pure she was,a God can never cry and be thrashed no matter how strong one can be,a good is ultimate and mighty he lack nothing,he resembles not me nor ur ogogoro drinking father,he don't accept only dancing and singing as a ticket to paradise because even obasanjo can not accept this disturbance all Sundays, infact nobody in any religious book tell u to worship God on Sundays,Jesus was sent to the Jews as he replied ",i was sent to the lost sheep of Israel" u are a black orangutan Jesus never knows u and nobody sent him to u,in the bublia it was narrated that women should only talk or make a sound after asking permission from their husbands,it was also noted in ur bublia that if u are fighting with some one and suddenly ur wife came to ur aid by graping that man's penix u should cut the hands that grap it. That's what u either dnt know it's in the Bible or chooses to leap over because only in Bible one would find such a sexy and romantic preach which is not even safe for children to be told. Am talking of mini skirt and alcoholism that u made as a normal way of life,u tend to insult the Muslims because nairaland belongs to igbos, the admin does nothing about it,u dnt even know it's u who worth insulting if need arise, with all ur brain, professors, doctors and whatever u dnt know that u would never get passage to heaven by dancing and depicting Jesus Christ as God who never once said he was a God in fact shedding his blood for u was a lie,if u kill or maimed anybody u will be surprised to see how the real God would held u accountable. God of anus and penix

I started after reading about a thread on Fiverr under business section. I started in 2016, earned few dollars but I wasn't consistent. I get messages and reply like after a week because I don't check my page always.

In 2018 after passing through a HELL OF STRESS as an Architect with small change salary in Lagos State, I revisited Fiverr and decided to be ready, available and consistent.
To my utmost surprise jobs were rolling in, I resigned to be a full time freelancer.

If you register, you have to be available. If you are good in what you do, then orders must come to you. NO MAGIC required!!!

Thanks for the response.

With hardwork, I'll definitely share my story here this time next year

I have been on Fiverr since 2016, but I resigned from my job in September 2018 to become a FULL-TIME freelancer.
I have never regretted my decision.

I just rounded up my masters, no solid job coming up and I've been thinking of registering there to offer services on web design and digital marketing.

Your post just inspired me. How did you get started? Links, books or anything, if you'd be of help.

Career / Re: I Suffer From Stage Fright - Help by handsomebanana(m): 7:37pm On Jan 01, 2020
I don't why it pisses me off a little when I see peoole with no speed impediment whatsoever scared of public speaking.

Growing up as a child with a chronic stutter and still struggle with it till now, you don't know how lucky I think you have it.

I've given public speeches a number of times and while I don't have stage fright, i still stutter about 40% of the time making me become obsesed with giving the perfect performance.

You are lucky, just have a good understanding of your topic, stand there, say what you know and leave. Its as easy as that. If it works for me, it will work for you.

Once again, you fluent speakers are lucky. Take advantage of what you have.

Lionheart's the only recent Nigerian move I've managed to watch.

While there was never a dull moment in it with Nkem Owoh and Gen being very entertaining, the movie lacked substance. Some scenes are just flat out unbelievable and impossible, and some, just unnecessary

It's nice for a first time effort, but I'm patiently waiting for our Nigerian Tarantino.

Dunno where you got that line from, but I had to respond after laughing out so hard. grin

I put it to you: You must really like Pepsi!

Well, that was exactly how I felt some two years back when I quit my 9-5 to start freelancing.

Today, I have some money, but I am looking for business ideas...that's because I don't want to quit freelancing.

If you have some digital skills, online freelancing can be a fast way of raising capital.

I don't teach though; there are links on Nairaland that show how to do that.

I wish you the best.

WWE has Jamaica on his profile, sorry.

Oga, Kofi was born in Kumasi, Ghana.

If you're talking about the beginning of his career, that was simply a gimmick he has since dropped.

TV/Movies / Re: 'Joy' Rejected By Oscars Because Of Too Much English by handsomebanana(m): 8:37am On Nov 12, 2019
Neddstark:
This is getting irritating. Dont we Nigerians read? We know we cannot compete on the average movie categories, so we opt for the international category. Unfortunately, the international category has strong rules of the language of communication not being majorly in English. When the movies eventually get rejected, we now claim racism. Why are African themed movies like The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind not going for international feature film category?

You are among the Nigerians who lack the ability to read.
If you could, you would know that the movie was not made, neither was it submitted by a Nigerian.

You see Nigeria there so you think, "what a wonderful way for me to show my superiority over my fellow country mates ", resulting in making a conplete fool out of yourself.

Naaa Tom cruise is different. Those roles are challenging.

Can you in your church mind compare a Mission impossible movie with all the daredevil stunts involved to a village movie where Pete Edochie sits half the time?

Every Mission impossible movie is better than the former. Trust me, this is coming from someone who's a big action movie critic and only watched all mission impossible movies this year.

I was stunned.

Besides that, Mission impossible is a movie franchise or series like John wick and James bond.

Certain elements must be present e.g The lead actor being an agent or a spy or something.

Babe, calm down grin

What were talking about here isn't how challenging the roles are, yes, I agree that they are very challenging, they are still more or less the same. He swoops in and saves the day.
Mission impossible, edge of tomorrow, oblivion, the last samurai, etc.

80 - 90% of his roles from 1998 - 2019 are in the action genre.

An example of a versatile actor would be Tom Hardy.

True. His age and body build.

Same can be said of Tom Cruise who is also typecast, but you won't see one mumu coming out to say he doesn't know how to act.

Guys who talk or behave like Eddy Murphy, I friendzone.

But if the guy can balance the two characters? Then perfect! smiley

It's funnier when you realize that that the Eddie Murphy we all know is just a stage act and the real him actually behaves like the guy OP describes.
