Richhard:Thanks. Will try and see Lol, check your inbox for the address ![]() |
Been a while I post a pinshure on NL. Don't know why it was refusing to load. Modified It still didn't load |

Been a quiet follower of the thread ![]() First post alert! Porridge with efo riro and fish.

The only thing I can't get over is how extremely stu.pid the mother and grandma of the baby was. Unless they were under some kind of spell, I can't just believe 2 sensible people will fall for such. |
People that don't have to wear the hijab are so pained and crying their lives out. Did she or any of the Muslim sisters using the hijab use it on your heads? Or did they come complaining to you? Yeye people, crying over what isn't their problem. |
The psycho is already on the run. Probably thought nothing will happen and he can easily get away with the battery. These cases of abuse against nurses shouldn't always be swept under the carpet. From patients to patient relatives and now Drs. This is the worst form of human degradation, putting profession or gender aside. But the lady really fell hand. Going through this thread, we can see how pathetic some people's reasoning is. According to reliable sources from people working in that hospital, what she wrote is true. |
Go and see a dermatologist. Not a gynaecologist. |
I pray she sues his ass. Imagine pouring fluid from the wound of a patient on the nurse? And some idiots here are still justifying it. The NANNM of that hospital must ensure this assault isn't swept under the rug. That Dr was.wrong on so many levels. |
This OP must be high. So incoherent. |

Spreading falsehood. No JOHESU member was involved in that accident. May God grant healing to the people who were actually involved. |
This is really saddening. RIP to her. Almost couldn't recognize her with this picture. She was a good actress. |
I don't know the Skales guy but I think he was really cool about it, seriously I felt like slapping the so-called journalist interviewer on his behalf. It was more like an argument than an interview, you can't rubbish someone's work and still continue hammering on it and expect them to be cool with it. He should have just closed the chapter early enough. |
And the thread as degenerated to interprofessional bashings. The Nigerian situation is very pathetic, the patient -Dr ratio is on the high side. Every professional is understaffed, overworked without commensurate pay. I read and watch and follow several foreign health professionals' pages and apparently this isn't only in Nigeria. We just have it worse. As things get worse, Nigeria will continue suffering from brain drain cos not only Drs are leaving other health professionals are too, nurses especially. And our Minister for State of health is in support of quackery anyway so the Nigerian citizens will be at the mercy of the growing population of quacks |
It's just weird how some men find it so easy to neglect their wife and responsibilities in the face of any slight trouble. You were actively involved in bringing those babies to the World then you run away when they and their mother need you most. And women are supposed to be the weaker sex, SMH. |
Freddonance:Indeed, 'The All-Knowers' You can't know all, I am very close to a one time the best grad Medical student of a top notch Nigerian University, we were discussing and he didn't know a particular common antihistamine, anti motion sickness drug, He was humble enough to ask what it was, I didn't fault him, we can't know all and I have learnt loads from him too. We school together, work together, you guys ask some weird questions, make some silly slips, we wonder what you are taught. But it's normal cos no one knows it all, you know as much as you expose yourself to and with experience. |
AbuadStudent:How does upward adjustment of the CONHESS salary scale translate to equal pay with Drs? How does payment of their salary arrears translate to pay parity with Drs? I don't know what you guys mean by relativity. Without the subsequent increase in Drs pay thrice which the other health professionals didn't complain about and the payment of their arrears, the level of entry of the health professionals aren't even the same, that alone has placed Drs several years ahead of others. I haven't seen a more selfish set of people. |
There is no use arguing with these i.diots. Makes my blood boil. For a set of people you would expect intelligence from these people can be so disappointing |
MrBigiman:Such stup.idity in just a post. The dumbo is obvious |

The health minister has from the onset always been biased. He is a Minister of Drs. And what is written there is bullcrap |
AbuadStudent:No where in their demands was same pay as Drs mentioned. All they seek is better pay, working conditions, ability to progress in their field without it been cut short and payment of their salary arrears. Drs have had their salaries adjusted thrice in 4 years, no one batted an eye lid, the resident Drs went on about 6 months strike the last time no one said anything but placate them, but whenever the other health professionals try and make any request, they start brewing trouble and feel unnecessarily threatened like other health professionals earning better will affect their salary. Since they have smartly positioned themselves so well to occupy all top positions in the health sector they try and stifle others. You are either a Dr in the health sector or nothing. It's called a Team for a reason but they feel they can do it alone. And before you say anything some fools will say you can go be a Dr, not everyone is interested in being a Dr, a Dr only can't effectively manage a pt. And other health professionals refuse to be subdued by these Ego maniacs |
They never disappoint. I have been expecting this |
All I can say is, this is weird. |
Reelmii:First impression truly matters and that is why the guy should have cleaned up and done his chores while expecting a visitor. The only justification he would have is if the girl had eaten at his place and not washed the dishes afterwards. That is something I can't do, not minding who I visit even if it's a friend of same gender. Why would I visit a man for the first time and the next thing I'm supposed to be doing is chores just to show I'm 'wife material'?! |
Wife material equals slave material. It was her first visit, she didn't sleep over, no mention of if she ate or not but suddenly she is expected to be doing your chores for you. You should have packed out your dirty clothes make she wash. Yeye dey smell. |
And they don't know the difference between live and leave |
I don't know why some Nigerian lecturers take joy in students' failure. |
My blood is boiling. |
30yrs old with a 16yrs old daughter? I don't know what kind of anger would make a mother do this to her own child, on top N250. She cld have corrected her in a better way. And what is student nurse under auxiliary capacity? A quack in training is the word |
MisterGrace:When you eventually made a comment, what sense does it make than to spread hate? |
Isn't that the unaccredited College of medicine? Instead of finding solutions to the issues the students were protesting about, they rather try and shut them up. |
