I want to believe this is a work of quacks. Those people get mind pass. Killing innocent citizens who patronize them, although some people also know they are quacks yet still go to them thinking they would save money but end up with worse situations.
Many cases around here of people going to school drop outs who are self-acclaimed health professionals.

Ours is 75% attendance and they are getting more serious with it. Gave a whole class resit because of attendance.

I only know about a Uni in Ghana, Valley view.
One of my senior colleagues did their top-up program and I had asked for some info about it it back then.
She said they pay tuition in dollars (it fluctuates) and about two years ago, the fee was around 420-450K per semester and the program is for 6 semesters. That is apart from some little other expenses they would pay for in cedis.

Nigerians aren't generally the best of people. You will see this manifest in every area of our lives, from the Leaders at the top to the Gate men.
The so called nurse was wrong and the Dr that felt he could hand out slaps as he or she likes, was also very wrong.

Exactly. He can open a thread to blame his mum overlooking his dad's irresponsibility cos the woman is making sure all his needs are being met. For him not to know she is the one taking care of 80% of their financial needs even though his Dad earns well means she has been trying to cover up for the man.

If his mum was jobless or earned peanuts and he has a Dad who earns 400K monthly but waiting for his wife to get him a car (as supported by a weird thinking child) and always claiming he had no money, he would have realized that there are two sides to life.

Why should your mum be the one to get a car for your Dad, he isn't jobless, if he needs a car he should get one for himself.
Why is she the one picking up 80% of the bills when your Dad receives 400K monthly but never seems to have any money? What does he do with his money?
If what she said was true, she will surely feel more pressured to stay financially buoyant plus have they always been like that? Some women take the focus on your work and children route when they are being emotionally dealt with in marriage.

I have only had one such roommate.
We have to remind her to have her bath even while she is on, I can bet it she once didn't bath for almost two weeks straight, her bed is never laid and the dirt colour pattern is so disgusting, none of the other roomies ever sat on it, doesn't go to class, sleeps all day then borrow other people's make up by night to look good for the dunderheads that'll come look for her (Usually wonder how they cope with the smell in that corner, well, love is blind and has anosmia)
Never saw her wash for a whole session, you can see her clothes rotting outside the room. Soak clothes for ages till the water starts smelling.
Wash plate ke, my brave Bunkie had to wash her maggot filled plates for her once just to stop the stench that filled the whole room, thought a rat had died.

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying, but getting violent on anyone should be a no-no, talkless of someone close to you.. Everyone is annoying in a marriage. Is it in terms of infidelity? Saying hurtful things to one's spouse ( Thats not only a woman's thing, I've seen a lot of cases where a man will say something so hurtful the woman will feel like committing suicide), spending money meant for the home/children on frivolous things like parties, clothes, girlfriends etc.
That doesn't mean we should endorse any form of violence. It's first and foremost against the law, even if you don't believe in humanity.
It's criminal and should never be endorsed.
I hope law enforcement will take it up anyway, since the victim has come out and complained of a crime carried out against her person.

Don't mind the hypocrites. The advent of social media and wider publicity brought out a lot of those ills that would otherwise not be known.
I don't get how people think the old marriages were some fairytale when they weren't. The women mostly cos they were largely dependent on the husbands had to endure any of the B.S he decides to throw at them, and the Society was even harder then than now for a woman who decides to go the divorce route, there was no support system, only the strong ones can decide to leave if being maltreated. (Women are better empowered/ educated now so there will surely be a difference. I think this threatens the men's ego).
Most of these marriages are all endurance and little enjoyment. I think that's what people want marriage to continue to be like for women, endure, endure, endure for your children's sake.
