If u possess a minimum of upper credit in ur previous institution with a minimum of 50% in DE exam, i'm tellin u confidently, having gone through a rigorous research dt u have qualified for DE admission in OAU... But ur previous institution MUST be a recognised one. State/federal school has no much problem but if ur previous institution is private then much connection should be required

However if u possess distinction in ur previous institution and u chose OAU as first choice, have amazin score in DE exam especially if ur previous institution is state/federal institution located in Lagos, centre of excellent, just obtain DE form then go nd sleep cos u are in already.

From research made, OAU respects public institutions in Lagos.. They believe dt if u can cope in Lagos then u can cope any where be it over sea or within Nigeria.

(Thank God i studied in Lagos, i'm not afraid of d tension in any other institution be it over sea or within Nigeria cos i hv been well equipped in Lagos)

Like Samakinr adviced, do not go into nursing just cos u cldn't meet medicine cut-off, go into nursing becos u want to be a nurse and u av passion for it, else u'll be frustrated. Medicine and nursing are both great fields that needs passion. Don't go into medicine to follow the herd or simply for the title or money, but cos u want to help to save lives and make impact in human lives or else u'll be frustrated.
If u want to be a doctor don't be a nurse, if u want to be a nurse don't be a doctor. If u want to be a physiotherapist have passion for it. I'm a nurse and I wouldn't want to be a doctor for anything in the World *except loads of money*, lolz. Not cos I'm not smart enough but it doesn't interest me 'weird right'?
My sermon is getting too much, at the end of the day all that matters is following ur heart. If by chance u are offered nursing or physiotherapy but still want medicine, go for it. All the best.

Keep going girl! I hope she keeps it till marriage. It is so sad that immorality and lack of the fear of God has eaten so deep into humans that people feel virginity should be underated. Being a virgin is a pride anytime any day, apart from the self respect you have not releasing itself to be used by every dick and harry u date, it is something you can use to pray and seek God's favor. These days even 13 year olds are rarely virgins. It's such a shame. I love ur strategy. UniIlorin has tht problem, there is almost nothing like merit. U'll see pple with 70's not admitted while pple wt barely 50 will be admitted, connection and prayer is d key.

You need a minimum of a credit in biology there is no substitution for that. And I'm not sure if OAU accepts 2 sittings for medicine. You should check up more on OAU's requirements for medicine.

I think we should all calm down and wait for the school to have it's say before people start having hypertension. With whatever score you have whethere 90% or 60% pray for God's favor, cos that's the only thing that can help man.
If it were to be dependent on one's result I know for sure I wld have gone to the uni straight. Some of us probably know many of our mates whose results can't stand near ours but entered university that same yr with good courses. So pray for God's favor and don't be too over confident with ur result although it's also important.
