ArodeTsolaye:Oh! My bad, I forgot to add 'Adieu' to my post the other time, that was why u felt the need to bark once more. My advice is work out ur frustrations in life, u seem to av a lot of frustrations which u are projecting out to others. Adieu! I expect u to surprise me by being rational this time around and stop mentioning me |
ArodeTsolaye:I can see u can't be civil, ur posts shows the type of person u are. |
FREEDOM4BIAFRA:Jealousy, seriously? Why wld I be? Ibos becoming Biafra doesn't affect what I av achieved and by God's grace I will achieve in life. So, it doesn't bug me. I only pray they leave peacefully, and that Nigeria gets what it needs but lacks, which are gud and great leaders, not the greedy visionless ones that keep sucking the Nation dry, amassing wealth for their generations yet to be born, while the masses suffer, rather than look for the progress of the Country and a change of mentality of people. |
steveeeee5:Congratulations |
FREEDOM4BIAFRA:My friend, goodluck with that. |
ArodeTsolaye:Can't u make a point without resorting to insults mister? I'm not talking abt my friends discussing Biafra with me, that's their cup of tea what they want. I'm talking abt the obvious tribalism, ethnocentrism and religious bigotry most Ibos on NL display, wc I'av not noticed in my friends. I don't appreciate pple insulting my intelligence, pls, if u can't chat in a civil manner don't mention me. |
I'av been wondering, when Biafra finally comes to pass, is it not these same greedy fellows that'll lead them? Or will the people in a place change cos of a change of name? I haven't met any ibo guys who shout Biafra up and down, it's only on Nairaland this is prominent. The Ibo traders in South west looking for a means to survive don't go about shouting Biafra. What really is behind the clamoring for a Biafra? Anyway, if they want to leave, they shld o, I only pray this doesn't bring about another civil war. If not for the fact that I av Ibos as friends and I know how they behave, the way some or even most Ibos reason on nairaland wld make some1 av contempt for the tribe. Many tribalists, ethnocentric and religion bigots |
Wow! Very lovely I'm interested in learning crochet, when I av the time. How do I go about this? |
Wow! Very lovely works. Thumbs up OP. And thanks for the tutorials, I'm following bumper to bumper. I wish I cld learn it one on one though, are people who deal with crotchet works very common, I haven't come across any. |
@ Op, So what if the rich guy you married loses his job, will u divorce him? Like the wise pple say 'No condition is permanent'. The poor, underemployed or jobless guy of today cld be someone great in the nearest future once he has great potentials |
okitikpo:Hmmmm, that's true. But he still has to av something doing, not necessarily a white collar or 8-5 job or a overtly high paying job. But at least a business venture or handiwork which wld provide a source of income for the family upkeep and with time things wld get better. Afterall most of our parents, my parents anyway started from scratch and today with mutual love, support, understanding and God, we are well off to a reasonable extent. There is no shame in wanting to marry a rich man though, if one sees the qualities one wants in a man in him and there is love, but the basis shld''t only be cos the man is rich. I av a friend that rushed off to marry a rich man blive me the marriage didn't even last up to a year, she rushed out of it, the way she rushed in. The only problem sometimes is that men aren't appreciative enough, immediately that breakthrough comes and the money starts coming in well, the woman who suffered with them is put aside and they run after other women. This discourages ladies who might want to marry surulere. |
I can date a guy if he is jobless for the time being, what I look out for is the positive potentials in him. Of course he has to be intelligent, ambitious, knows what he wants and work towards it. I'll support him and I'm an optimist, I know things wld work out well with God and hardwork. But if he is the type that laze around, proudly dependant and expects a job to fall from heaven without working for it, and a dumbo, I can't even spare a 2nd glance at his side. Personally I'm not the type of lady that expects or depends on a guy financially or materially, I pride myself on that. Why wld I av to make it a burden on a guy tht isn't my husband my financial needs, but the guy must'nt be stingy too though. Even if the girl doesn't ask he cld set up a treat for her when he can afford to. The but is I can't marry a jobless guy, cos I can't imagine how he wants to cope with the responsibilities marriage brings without a source of income |
Such a sad case. There were alot of things that went wrong and not taken into consideration which cld av made a difference. RIP to the dead |
donodion:it is very true in Naija where there seem to be no law. Drs train illiterates call them auxiliary nurses and these illiterates are asked to perform nursing duties putting many lives at risk, they make silly errors, do unthinkable things, but the public will shout 'nurses are at it again'. Many of the so-called private hospitals in Naija even big ones make use of quacks. Personally in my area I know abt 10 girls who didn't even complete Sec. School, yet they parade about now claiming to be nurses, one is even suspected to be running a home service for illiterates like her who don't value their lives. So the menace these guilty Drs are creating is something that's killing the health care system as a whole, in a bid to have more profit because they don't want to pay qualified personels rather quacks they'll pay stipend. Quacks who don't know right from wrong, who don't know the rationelles behind each nursing action, some can't even speak a complete sentence in English, they think all that is to nursing is giving inj. After the pt dies from negligence or wrong treatment they claim it's the will of God. They shout 'Quack Drs', but are the quack nurses they train any less dangerous? Nursing is not a vocation like fashion designing, u can go to anyone to learn, it's a profession. This is life we are talking abt, bt alas, everything is upside down. But like I said earlier, it isn't their fault. |
We need this sanity in nursing too . When will NMCN wake up? Some or many Drs are busy training quacks and using them in their private hospitals putting many lives at risk because of the profit they'll get from paying the illiterates they use stipend instead of employing qualified nurses, yet they go unchecked and this anomaly continues to grow. They fight against quackery in their profession yet they propagate it in another profession in the name of auxiliaries, I'm not saying it's all Drs but many Drs, but it's not their fault though, NMCN allowed it and the crazy way everything is in Nigeria. The health sector really needs thorough sterilization. Btw the 6 months is too small for such criminals. |
jakiedudu:Do u av strabismus (cross eye) or u stare at pple in a weird way or ur eyes reads 'don't stare or I'll bite':p The problem is probably all in ur mind |
OMG! Speechless. 2&3, na wa o. This is too much nau, as in I cld almost argue they aren't the same person |
God o! Graduates don suffer for Naija. @ Op, was the job requiring some1 with BSC or just SSCE? Cos I can't just imagine this. And what course did you study? If it's one that you can use in teaching at a Sch, it's better you look towards the teaching line. You can take up the offer now, so far ur transport and feeding wld be taken care of, but continue looking for better options every day. |
It myt just be that the ladies are feeling shy. I sometimes feel weird staring at some1 who is also busy staring at me, so that myt be the case. Or are u too ugly for the eyes to bear ni |
fawaazsanni:Nope, a friend of mine is also an aspirant yet to see alert though, he had 258 and 78% . I'm hoping to hear gud news soon |
fawaazsanni:Congrats, sorry pls what were ur jam and putme scores |
@ Op in ur dreams baa? |
chisombenedicta:Congrats |
tohpahz:I av a problem wt answering pm, don't know why. |
