Celebrities › Re: Ali Baba Takes A Swipe At Aregbesola by HaneefahRN(f): 1:36pm On Sep 21, 2015 |
enitiObanke: We are simply too lazy to do any research of our own,....and Ali Baba a 'celebrity' who should know more is simply misinforming our gullible youths.... Aregbesola does not own a private jet, neither does the Government of the State of Osun own one. Yes, Aregbesola's govt bought and operates a chopper, in the name of the state government, not in his own name. But even that is a misplaced priority. I do not hold brief for Rauf, I am from Osun state, but I speak truth to authority wherever and whenever. Aregbe began his 2nd term in August/October 2014,....till date he doesn't have commissioners. In a way, that helps the state save a lot on over head for political office holders, and their retinue of aids, not counting luxury official vehicles.... I still refuse to believe that Aregbe hasnt earned a dime in salaries since he began to owe Osun civil servants, until the state ministry of finance makes public official documents to back up that claim it remains mere propaganda to the discerning. Osun is where it is 2day because our leaders didn't priotise wisely. What does Osun state need an airport for? Osogbo(d state capital) is at most 95km to ibadan, 150km to Ilorin, and like 130km to akure. Ibadan, Ilorin and akure all have functional airports which are largely (90%) comatose due to their proximity to MMIA Lagos, thus all 3 airports are not viable commercially. So, what does Osun need an airport for? A state that cannot generate enough in internally generated revenue (IGR) to pay its workforce, a state that won't survive economically for a single month if the monthly largess from Abuja dries up has no business buying a helicopter, under any guise. Wa gbayi my bro! The main problem is that the govt doesn't know what priority means and mismanagement of the resources at hand. And he put too much wood in the fire at the same time not considering the financial implications. Private jet or not 'wc I dn't blive', all I know is the people should be paid their salaries, haba after receiving the bail-out still nothing yet, although they claim to have paid some workers. Now he is declaring a free train ride to convey people for salah, people who neva know wetin dem go use celebrate that sallah or even survive afterwards. And he is going about gallivanting about, while his people are suffering and 'dying'. There izzzz God o. |

willian10: That's one disadvantage of Nigerian universities naming engineering courses, pharmacy n bio chemistry as abstract No insult pls, u said they're are abstract n I didn't argue with u cos Nigerian Universities is the topic Sorry, I didn't get ur point. Besides, did u notice the full stop? I mentioned those courses has being harder than medicine from my POV then went on to form another sentence about abstract courses. When I mean abstract courses, I mean the likes of maths, physics, some part of chemistry, etc, they are mostly theoretical, just take it as it is, they are not things u deal with physically and can relate with practical things. So to me courses which involve more of these abtract courses will seem harder. And what's with Nigerian university as the topic? Sorry I don't grab, mind expantiating ur point? |
Politics › Re: Osun Government Provides Free Train Service For Sallah by HaneefahRN(f): 11:41am On Sep 21, 2015 |
And does he expect people to come out with drums to celebrate that! Pay salary, u no pay even after receiving bail-out, people have been dying while he is gallivanting around. Those people that will enter free train, which money will they even use to celebrate that salah and even survive afterwards. And to think he is a Muslim. May God help us o |

Lolz, all this funny 'most difficult courses' and all. I blive difficulty of a course is relative, what is difficult for some1 can be a walk in the pack for others. Ever course can be difficult or ese, depends on ur approach, read well, be focused and ask questions and u will be better. And besides u av to go through that course to know whether it's actually difficult 'for u' or not. From my own POV, I would say Engineering courses, physics, biochemistry, pharmacy are harder than medicine. That's my own POV. Abstract courses tend to be harder than practical ones. |

Eeyah, this case is pathetic 'if true', but who is to blame? The couple had the option of govt hospital. But the poverty level in Nigeria is very high, you'll be surprised when some women can't even afford to pay N200-500 at a PHC after delivery or even come to the hospital to deliver with next to nothing, I don't know if they expect the Drs and nurses to pay out of their pocket for the delivery and even materials needed. And when they are delayed and told to get the materials, they start going about saying these professionals are wicked. They had 9 months to prepare for goodness sake, she shld have registered ante-natally at a govt hospital and gone there at the first sign of labor, we all know our financial capabilities, if u can't afford a private hospital, don't go there. |

Adortem: I don't think that rule applies to OAU, OAU doesn't admit students into 300level. Eeyah, that's somehow, so after abt 5years on that course HND holders would still have to begin again? Y not just do PGD and follow with masters then? Our educational system need serious review. |

Family › Re: This Girl Is About To Be Kicked Out! by HaneefahRN(f): 8:47am On Sep 18, 2015 |
The OP and the mother in law placed so much expectations on the woman. Remember the lady came from a different family and might not see anything wrong with what u said she is doing, so communication matters here, besides she just put to bed -CS fa so u guys shld be considerate. And please stop prying into the couple's affairs, the guy too might notice her behavior and they'll know how to settle themselves. Ur story actually made me remember one of my Uncle's wife, as in I just can't find another word to qualify her worse than lazy, when she even comes around, she sits down watching TV waiting for her 'slaves' to bring food to her, after then she won't even wash her own plate not to talk of one mother-in-laws plate, when my grandma went to take care of her baby for her, she had to use her own money to buy broom to 1st sweep and clean the compound b4 she could stay. A housewife that can't fetch water from tap just outside the house or even wash her own undies and clothes, watches porn even when all her kids are female and many more. But all these ain't our business, afterall na my uncle sow where he is reaping nw. Anytime he comes around and start complaining abt her we just ignore him, we were sha not there when he saw her and got her pregnant. U'll meet lots of characters, my advice is stay out of their business, if the man later decides he can't cope with her, that's his problem. Find a maid or relative to take care of ur aunt. My two cents! |

Augusti: Please, don't tell me you're bringing age matters into government. If he's a buffon for real, he deserves to be called it. Because he's a million times older than me, I shouldn't be able to criticize him? There is a clear demarcation between personal- age, family and friends, personal view, management,...- and governmental matters. I know you're gonna say the freedom of speech one has in democracy doesn't liberalize one to spew unwarranted words against the person in government, but don't say 'the President is older than my grandpa, so I should never criticize him'. He knew quite alright the position he opted for, so he is ready to be called buffon even by a 6 year old. And yes, respect is not about calling an old fool daddy Augusti? This case has been adjourned indefinitely! Court! |
