Ashleydolls: I'm wondering how he got to know the woman has all those qualities...hmmmmm..Ladies will never learn. You know you have a single friend that is better than you in terms of looks, attitude, bedmatics and what have we and yet you allow her have a good relationship with your partner. It starts from calling him uncle and before you say Jack, they exchange numbers and they're already talking on phone and dating. Ladies out there are desperate, if you find a good partner, keep him alone to yourself, stop telling your friends about him, stop allowing them to meddle in your affair. It's takes two to make a relationship, remember three is a crowd. Keep your relationship private and away from your friends. B*tches ain't loyal. DAYUUUUM....You hit it real hard and hot. |

Please read the old testament very well and you'd see those closer to God than we are, how they lived their lives despite their polygamous status. Ice not seen that man in our present day generation who is as godfearing and as wealthy as our father Abraham. Let's leave everything to God. We can't judge anyone. David was closer to God's heart. Ice not seen that man in our present day generation who is as godfearing and as wealthy as our father Abraham. Let's leave everything to God. We can't judge anyone. David was closer to God's heart. With due respect sir, Abraham was married to one wife, Sarah. It was Sarah that pushed Abraham to have relationship with her slave girl. God had his own purpose for letting that be. David was not married to many wives (I stand to be corrected), he deviated in having relations with a few others. Solomon reputed to take 700 wives and 300 concubines (or vice versa) was said to be the wisest man but the holy book said in his older days, he was led astray by the wives he took from other nations, that says a lot about the kind of approval God gave to those relationships. Who was Abasalom's mother sef. Anyways, I honestly am not judging anyone. I am not even claiming to be a saint. There are arguments for both sides (polygamy and monogamy) and what you choose can always be defended, rightly or wrongly. So there.... |

awelekiti: Are you God? What would you say of our forefathers who married up to 4 wives? They lived up to 90 years. My granddad lived up to 90 years. He had 3 wives. He's a Christian. Those men with their many wives were contented in their days. They were hardworking men who valued their wives and took good care of them. Go to Ekiti state. You'd find a man with 2 wives, whose children are well-read. Some professors, some lawyers, etc. Those who married one wife will make heaven. Those who married more than one will also make heaven, if only they live in fear and commandment of God. We must not buy into a white man's culture. They taught us how to wear suit with rope on our neck, even under the scotchy sun, we accepted it. Western culture taught us how to divorce, what used to be a taboo in our clime, and we embraced it. Now, polygamy is being practised in canada, legitimately. If we don't value our culture, someone else will steal it from us. I'm not preaching polygamy. But those who are into it, we should condemn them. it doesn't mean they're womaniser. Many of our generations wouldn't have been born if not for the polygamy being practised by our forefathers, many of whom married may wives so they could assist them on their farmland...they would make heaven if they kept God's commandment during their lifetime. My graddad would give yam to passersby who didn't have food to eat. He had borrowed people money but they didn't pay back. People would come for help and he'd assist them. The best commandment, which our Lord Jesus Christ also talked about is LOVE..love your neigbour as yourself. If you love your neighbour, you won't sleep with his wife, you won't steal his money or defraud him, you won't kill him, etc. That's what is lacking in our society today. Western education has eroded our culture which was one of the reasons our forefathers lived happily. A whiteman can divorce 6 times, jumping from one woman to the other like a he goat. Is that a life? Why not marry more than one and take good care of them as God blessed you? One question sir. When God created Adam, how many Eves did he create for him? A sub question is....are we wiser than God? I am done. |

So the man is both chairman and managing director. That is not good corporate governance. Best practice is that both positions should be separate and manned by different people. Secondly, those names put there as directors means they are non executive directors. It is doubtful whether they really understand the implications of being directors and their rights and duties.
I am near certain they don't even hold board meetings as their dad is probably running a one man show.
Their problem not mine. |

toluine56: I'm surprised at these. What is the surprise about? When I was naive, the FRSC had impounded my vehicle twice, i had to make the union bank payments and bla bla bla before recovering my car, on one occasion my car slept there. With the police i could ordinarily intimidate them but where that is not working, as low as N500 will buy you out of almost any infraction. When I was driving a charcoal tinted non factory fitted glasses on my SUV , the police gave me a hot chase unknown to me. When they drew level , i pulled over, went down and walked straight to their boss in the operational vehicle. It was an infraction then and i gave their boss N500 and got back into my vehicle. Were it to be FRSC, trust me no money would have brought my car out without going to the bank to pay. When FRSC pulls me over, we just agree on the infraction and i go and pay. No further discussions. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Why Does A Job Interviewer Want To Know My Current Salary? by hardbody: 9:42am On Mar 23, 2017 |
Nice points generally. However, one other reason that no one seems to have looked at is that if a Company is searching for executive management staff and on paper you are very good and you have answered all the questions correctly, but your current salary is way below what they pay their staff, chances are they see you as not exactly mature or fit for the current job. Some companies when they advertise will say, if you are currently below a DGM, do not apply. Others will go as far as saying if you pay check is below circa N12m pa do not apply while others pop that question in the interview proper.
Now a way to around this challenge if you have it is to start by saying that your pay in your current job does not exactly represent your value and what you bring to the table as you had inadvertently asked for the wrong figures upon your engagement. Building on that you can then say that your minimum threshhold for their offer if they make you one is Nxxx.
Pad it up by saying that the other pecks such as generating set, club dues, bonuses, DSTV recharge, Internet and phone recharge are not part (or are ) part of the figure stated above.
Lesson, nose around a bit to get a feeler of what they pay. For me, If i walk into the interviewers premises and see some brand of cars, i generally lose patience, excuse myself and walk away. Not recommended for upstarts though. |

Beabeth: Stop listening to these "quit your job" gurus. There is nothing wrong with working a 9-5 and you need your 9-5 to fund your 6-10 in the beginning.
When you're in the beginning stages of your business, that's the broke, don't know, need help, have no clue stage so why would you quit your job in that state of mind?
These gurus tell you to quit your job but once you quit and don't have any money left to pay them for their services, they are nowhere to be found. They tell you to quit your job, follow your dreams, stop punching that clock for the man, that job is holding you back and all of that is BS.
You are holding you back, not that job. You can work your 9-5 and still have your own business.
Work your 9-5 and your business for as long as you can together. There is nothing wrong with a job check and your business check at the same time.
Do what works for you and your business on your time. Stop letting these people that don't pay your bills dictate how you live your life.
