no, no, no... not cos i dont pray, but because prayers dont work. You pray or not what happens happens. Prayers may make you feel better, but they dont work. That is why prayers are selective. Those things you think you get answers for are stuff that can happen on anyway to anyone no matter how slim the probability, as long as the probability is there, then it can happen. But can a beheaded man resurrect? Lol! Can an amputee be prayed for for limb regrowth? Lol! Come on, lets stop kidding ourselves. Prayers wont save you from car accidents, has done nothing about boko haram. Millions of believers are getting solutions in hospitals everyday not from prayers. If prayers work, why are there so many people in hospitals? Many thought god had cured their cancer and they stopped taking treatments only to end up dying of the same cancer. Cut me a slack bro. I was not born yesterday, seen my fair share of life and know believers only give god glory for nothing.

Though am a conc Christian i actually believed that a supernatural being exist before giving myself to Christ

you know it is hard most especially for christians to believe many of us atheists are strong headed and would never pray no matter the situation. I have been in serious road accidents as an atheist, i have been in serious legal situations going to court and all the detention wahala. In all these i never prayed. Yet i get out of all these situations. I dont even tell my family because they are weak. Prayers dont work.

Well I can't say, all I knew then was that when I became a heavy user, it would numb me( I won't be able to derive pleasure for normal daily activities) and then I would be depressed. Also I had this brain fog that dulled my brain. All these reverses each time I quit (even though I was still idle). Also note that I wasn't absolutely idle, I spent that months of ASUU strike around playing ps3, going out and watching porn. I stopped watching porn 4months before I resumed 100lvl on March 3rd, 2014. I swear, this is my experience. I won't have been firm on this if not for my experience. Perhaps there might be something else that causes brain fog and depression, I don't know but that's my experience.

I don't like bullshiting myself and others, I am a realist and I stand nothing to gain by being sincere about my experience.

Why did they go each time I quit even though I was idle? I have never had brain fog and depression in my entire life apart from those excessive porn moments. Truth is, porn is addictive and addiction inevitably leads to excessive indulgence.

see porn is never the problem, our need for sexual gratification is natural and unfortunately some are obsessed which cld be a problem. But porn itself can never be the problem. It is rather an outlet for an underlaying problem and yes maziomenuko whom you quoted is right, in SOME cases it could be a lack of sexual satisfaction in real life. But that is not always the case. So his advice cld work in many cases.

I am speaking from experience. I know beyond all doubt that porn addiction in the long run leads to depression. I know that from experience and I don't need a brain scientist to tell me that. The depression creeps in if you are a heavy daily user of porn for many months or just few years. That one I know from experience. True. If you are a new porn user, the depression goes very fast once you quit but if you continue long, the depression remains for a very very long while even after you quit. I might be wrong but I think obeying the voice might have simply left you just happy during your depressed state only for you to disobey and be beaten down by guilt.
