The UAE has resumed issuing entry permits except for work permits starting from September 24, authorities have announced. The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (FAIC) on Thursday morning said the resumption of issuing visas is within the framework of easing restrictions and strengthening the country's efforts towards supporting recovery plans of the country's economy. This is in conjunction with enabling the work system based on striking a balance between implementing the Covid-19 precautionary measures on one hand and the return of tourists and resumption of economic activities and various developmental aspects on the other hand, state media agency, Wam, has reported. The authority noted that the decision is in response to the current data represented in the package of precautionary measures and travel mechanisms taken by the air transport sector, as well as the application of various practices aimed at combating the coronavirus pandemic. The FAIC had on March 17 suspended all visas to all foreigners, with the exception of diplomatic passport holders as a precautionary measure to prevent and contain the spread of Covid-19 pandemic. https://m.khaleejtimes.com/coronavirus-pandemic/breaking-uae-resumes-issuing-entry-permits

MetaPhysical:Lack of info is what is clearly your issue. I live in Dubai so I have first info about the country. I earn AED5,000 (N500,000) at my current job as jewellery store attendant while I have a friend who earns N8,500 (N850,000) as primary sch teacher and some even earn more per month. The only issue I have with that country is that u don’t get permanent residence or citizenship. Aside from that, u don’t compare a teller in dubai to a bank manager in Nigeria so u are not wrong for calling them Dubai VIPs. |
I have a good knowledge of that axis. That road is notoriously known for Fulani robbers. They kill and operate at will on that road. We that are regular users of the road know the time when they won’t be on the road and that’s when we use the road. So immediately I read about his murder I had my doubt it was assassination. I still strongly doubt he was assassinated. I guess he was just a victim of these heartless Fulani people perpetrating evils on the road. Nonetheless, proper investigation is expected so as not to entirely place our judgements on conjecture. Rest on sir ... |
Love Scammer Jailed in Osogbo An Osun State High Court, sitting in Osogbo has sentenced one Adeniyi Ebenezzar (aka Mary Oliver) to four months in prison in a fraud charge brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibadan zonal office. Justice W. O. Akanbi of the State High Court 3 gave the verdict in Osogbo on Wednesday after Adeniyi settled for plea bargain and his hitherto three-count charge was replaced with a lone-count charge of obtaining money under false pretense, contrary to section 1(3) of Advanced Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act 2006. Operatives of the Commission had arrested him on December 5, 2018 after defrauding an American citizen, Anthony, of one hundred United States Dollars. He had posed to his victim to be a white woman with the name Mary Oliver, using same to extort his victim. The amended charge reads: “That you Adeniyi Ebenezzar (A.K.A. Mary Oliver) sometimes in 2006, at Ilesha within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court by false pretence and with intent to defraud, obtain Gift Card worth $100 USD (One Hundred United States of America Dollars) through your email moliver1820@gmail.com from one Anthony, a United States of America Citizen when you falsely represented to him that you are a white woman by name Mary Oliver and other false pretences which representation you knew to be false and thereby committed offence.” Though, the term of the plea bargain was to the effect that Adeniyi would bag seven months imprisonment with effect from his day of arrest, the judge used his discretion to commute the sentencing to four months, also from the day of his arrest. Part of the conditions of the plea bargain was restitution of the One Hundred Dollars back to the victim, and forfeiture of two Tecno mobile phones, one iphone 6X plus mobile phone, one Philips Wrist Watch and other items recovered from him in the course of EFCC investigation of him. The prosecution counsel, Mr. Mabas Mabur, represented the EFCC in the case.

Taiwo Ogunjobi, a former general secretary of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), is dead. Ogunjobi passed on at the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Monday. Ogunjobi was a brilliant footballer during his hey days. He also expressed interest in contesting for the number one position for the NFF in 2014. However, in 2013, he was involved in the transfer scandal of Olanrewaju Kayode and was slammed with a 10-year ban by the Executive Committee of the NFF after an investigation. “The Committee, based on the report of an investigative committee headed by Barrister Chris Green, approved a 10-year ban from all football-related activities on one-time NFF General Secretary and former NFF Executive Committee member, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi,” the committee had said back then. http://saharareporters.com/2019/02/11/breaking-ogunjobi-ex-nff-general-secretary-banned-10-years-corruption-dead

A slave can’t serve two masters at a time. Amosun coming out under APC and sponsoring a governorship aspirant under APM is pure anti party. Ogun state elections are still not predictable. |

November 15, 2018 The girls in the picture above are Hijab-wearing female students of the International School, Ibadan, the staff secondary school of the University of Ibadan. On Monday, these girls and over hundred others launched a popular bid to help break the anti-Hijab deadlock in their school, by wearing Hijabs to school. While newspapers have fed you with a lot of THEIR versions of what happened between Monday and today (Thursday), here are juicy details they hid from you! Today, Thursday, November 15, the School Management of ISI, led by a Christian Principal, Mrs Phebean Olowe, decided to lock these Hijabi girls out of the school. That is why the picture you are looking at was taken at the school gate. In essence, Mrs Olowe and he cohorts believe that the girl-child can be denied access to education if she chooses to wear a harmless, small, and by the way, cute, smart and beautiful Hijab. The fact that the Nigerian laws and several recent legal precedents have confirmed the legality of wearing the Hijab on school and institutional uniforms is of no consequence to Mrs Olowe et al. However, Mrs Olowe and he co-travellers did worse yesterday, Wednesday, and the newspapers will never tell you this. They allowed all the students to enter the school premises, including over 100 Hijab-wearing Muslim ISI girls. After the parents had departed, and with the school gates firmly locked, Mrs Olowe deployed several teachers on what amounted to individual and collective campaigns of hate, coercion, intimidation and forceful, negative pressure against the Hijab-wearing girls. The agents of hate succeeded in scaring and pressuring all of the girls to remove their Hijabs, except 8 of them who stood their ground and refused to, like they rightly should have done, and like Firdausa Amasa did. Mrs Olowe et al immediately ordered school security staff to round up the 8 girls and lock them up in the school library. Essentially, the girls were jailed and detained in the ISI school library because they refused to debase themselves by removing their Hijabs. Immediately after the jailing, the agents of hate proceeded to the classes of the jailed girls to conduct two impromptu tests each, all in a bid to put additional pressure on the girls by putting them at academic disadvantage. Today, despite all the jailing, academic pressure and psychological theatrics, the girls still appeared in their Hijabs, and had even been joined by 1 more girl – making 9, as you can see in the picture. Dear “Madam Thatcher” Phebean Olowe couldn’t take it no more, and she promptly locked them all out of the school, and kuku jailed them in the open air. This is just the beginning of this “season film” though. The parents of these Hijabi beauties have resolved not to take this assault on their girls lying low, and there is already chatter of an impending legal battle. I’ll stay sharp to ensure I feed you with news the newspapers will always hide from you on this interesting matter. Stay tuned.
