BinamRex:That's not even an accurate comparison. Out of the so-called $2.1 billion USD budgeted, at least $1.5 billion would go to private pockets of corrupt military fat cats, politicians and Middle Men. Whatever is left is what you should compare to anything else. |
Tizu:The report clearly says she is 21 years old in 300 level. Stop asking stupid questions. |
DonroxyII:Stop being very stupid and hypocritical. Is a full-grown 21 year old a minor legally and otherwise? Some of you are so annoying. |
Heartwarming. Chioma Ajunwa is a legend. One of our boma fide heroes. Better late than never. |
HenryWilliams:The idiots called Nigerian Police will tell you that they're doing their job, and that you should not teach them how to do their job. Very miserable low lives. |

Gratitude is the most noble virtue. But unfortunately, it is the hardest for most humans. |
Where is the ICC located in Anambra? Is it in the same area as the airport? |
Anyone who resorts to this Sokoloan is likely a serial bad debtor and shameless onigbese who has exhausted all the 'good lender' options. |
Joseph08:Seems you people don't travel interstate within Nigeria or you're simply out of touch with reality of things happening in Buhari's Nigeria. These Fulani bastards don't rely on any so-called insiders or do any kind of Intel work. This was simply a random operation, which they carry out multiple times a day. They simply jump out of the bush randomly and open fire on random vehicles driving by at that point in time, and kidnap occupants of the unfortunate vehicle who manage to survive. The randomness, thoughtlessness and barbarity of this Fulani Kidnapper modus operandi makes it all the more a national crisis. |
Tears, sorrow and blood. That's the legacy that Buhari's maladministration would leave behind. So sad. |
Money man 33BG. |
This is nonsense. Why are we not hearing agitations and voices of protest by the so-called Hausas? There's nothing like a distinction between Hausa and Fulani in Nigeria. They all pride themselves as "Arewa". God punish all of them...May they choke on cow piss and suffer lung failure. Idiots. Let them kill themselves up north forever for all I care, but if they continue to perpetrate their barbarism in the South, then they will surely have their days numbered. |
Although this man is himself a living ancestor, when he finally joins his ancestors, which will unavoidably be sooner than later, the jostle to steal from his filthy lucre and carve up his political real estate would be greater than the Gold Rush. There would certainly be an implosion in Lagos. Things would fall apart. |
bigcasava1:This their pipeline obsession is a miserable joke. Especially in today's Nigeria where the Buhari-led Fulani are so brutal and provocative. With all the hype on the Tompolo and his boys, they should be able to do more for their people in these trying times. Fulani bastards have ravaged many Delta communities, killed hundreds and raped uncountable.... Destroyed farms, over and over again, yet no response from the 'dreaded' Niger Delta hotheads wey no dey carry last as they like to pride themselves. Defending your people, heritage and pride goes beyond the low hanging fruit of bombing oil pipelines. It's not by mouth. No wonder they have most of the popular comedians. |
SmartPolician:I've championed this argument for at least a decade, even before the coming of this Dan Fodio jihadist wannabe called Buhari. Nothing binds a people together more than way of life. Cultural heritage is overrated. The main thing is way of life. That's why the West is the West. They share the same values and philosophies... Liberty, freedom... From New York to London to Tokyo. The entire South share the same values and have the same way of life. We prioritise education. We enjoy life. We have cosmopolitan outlook. So it will be easy to form a forward-looking country based on mutually agreeable laws and terms that will be binding on everybody. The North and its primitive, fundamentalist leanings and Islamic nonsense doesn't quite fit. It's a different world entirely. I can easily fit into any urban town in the South - from Oshogbo to Owerri to Benin to Uyo. There will be beer parlours for me to unwind and savour fine moments with one local babe or the other. But I would be like a fish out of water in Dutse or Bauchi where such an experience would be impossible, at least openly. As frivolous as this seems, it's actually the most important basis for the incompatibility between North and South. Way of life. |
JFiveX:I don't fancy irritating mentions by characters with doubtful sanity. |
Armaggedon:I don't understand. Do the cultists harass regular people going about their business in Awka, or do they just target their rival cultists? |
Speakright79:Very valid point. |
seunmsg:When some of you unfortunate elements repeat this baseless and unverified "treasurer of Mobil Nigeria" rubbish, I feel like slapping sense into you. Is Mobil a thrift society or does Mobil look like your village town union? Treasurer as per who or what? |
He looks inebriated and stupefied. |
Before nko? What is South East's business with Abiola ndi Yoruba June 12 shenanigans? |
Imagine the kind of primitive monkey that is the president of Nigeria. Because it is the millions of law abiding Lagosians that burnt the BRT buses? Isn't it the duty of government to prevent criminals from vandalising public assets, and bringing such criminal elements to justice? What is the business of the average law abiding citizen with the activities of a few criminals? Why should the president transfer responsibility, culpability and burden to innocent law abiding citizens because of the actions of a few criminals who the government's security forces under his command should identity and deal with? |
Nairaland isn't hosted in Nigeria (obviously), so the worst the government can do is direct the telcos and ISPs to block Nigerian Internet traffic to Nairaland (same thing they did to twitter). But Nairaland would still be easily accessible via VPN. Seun isn't an idiot. He is a tech genius and knows what to do. I hope he doesn't live in Nigeria though, as the government can have him arrested on trumped up charges and then force him to close the site. Seun doesn't need to live in Nigeria. He shouldn't. |
Online profiles are often fake. All the correct, worthwhile chicks don't have time to waste 'looking for love' online on one stupid app, website or the other since they already get enough toasters in real life. Anyone in this our Nigeria, male or female, actively 'looking for love' online often has very serious issues. Check them well. |
Awon fake life geng. |
Perfectbeing:You're an ignorant illiterate. Use existing laws to explain how an innocent man can be arrested and prosecuted for not "satisfactorily explaining" how he could afford a given car. Explain not even to the court, but to a useless, subjectively biased law enforcement agency whose operatives own cars of same worth or higher, even with their meagre salaries. Do you know how many animals in Nigeria, many of them EFCC, SARS, police, etc and other civil servants and government officials, whose lifetime salaries can't afford the cars they own or the houses they own? Who had arrested and prosecuted them? Don't be daft. How is it done in civilised countries? |
Upon close inspection, one would notice an uncanny resemblance between this bastard Lai Mohammed and an aged monkey. |
Tomide007:The whole thing is a joke because Naira Marley certainly CAN'T own the building, and Naira Marley would be an impossible 'ambassador' for any highbrow apartment building project. Which reasonable Upper Middle Class/High Networth individual would want to be neighbours with, or associated with this lousy urchin? |
That's the problem with Nigerians. You leave the real issues and start chasing shadows... Forming busy, forming activity, abusing 'power' and inconveniencing/oppressing innocent and law abiding citizens. There's really no difference between the military/police and the ordinary civilians organised as vigilantes or whatever. Fulani herdsmen don't come into communities in cars, let alone regular sedans or suvs. At best they may hide in their miserable Dangote trucks and smuggle themselves in during the wee hours. If you want to catch them, go into the bush. That's their route. That's their haven. That's their lair. Go there and look for them and disorganise their movement. Don't come to the major roads and city centres to disturb regular people - most of whom are your own people. |
