OBAGADAFFI: Lafarge’s profit margins as at year end 2019 was equivalent to 54 percent on revenues of N212.9 billion and net income of N115.1 billion. Lafarge had onetime gains from the disposal of its South African operations in the period. Thanks. I make decisions using dividend yield though. Wapco at current price is not attractive to me anymore. I left earlier with 100% profit and can't jump back in now with the projected dividend yield. |

emmanuelewumi: Paid 59k in November 2020, UPDC earned about N1 billion dividend from UPDC REIT in November 2020.
Unfortunately UPDC did not generate enough revenue that can take care of their running cost
Wole Oshin is a professional marketer, I see him focusing on housing units of N20 million and above which the average Nigerian workers can afford. With this they can increase their revenue from about N3 billion to N20 billion or more in the next 5 years.
With about 20 million housing deficits in Nigeria, assuming just 1 million are viable at an average cost of N5 million for low cost houses that is a market of N5 Trillion for players in the sectors over a period of 10 years.
PENCOM may need to allow workers to borrow against their pension contributions for house ownership, rather than FG borrowing the pension funds through sovereign bonds. Thanks boss. |

onegentleguy: On the part in bold... In the short term, cant say much until I see their YE 2020 FP. In the mid to long term, yes UAC-PROP can ride on some benefits if management are proactive and efficient.
It is well. Boss when last did UPDC reit pay dividend? I only saw 58k for 2019 |

yMcy56: Which price are you talking about? It's Neimeth we're talking about ooo. Dividend was more than the share price!
Reason I asked if it's special dividend, if it's true, then Neimeth will fly nah... We needed clarification here... Check again. Dividend is 6.5kobo while price N2.2 which translates to like 3% |

rebekah2011: However, following the Federal Government’s announcement of a public holiday on the said December 28, 2020, we are pleased to inform the shareholders that the qualification dates for both bonuses are now being moved to the next working date being December 29, 2020 i.e. from 28 December 2020 to 29 December 2020.
I think one has to be very careful when dealing with AIICO shares.. The listed shares outstanding as at today is 20,673,265,406 units. As at Q3, the outstanding shares in the unaudited financial statements was 11,330,202,920 units. How this has grown to 20,673,265,406 units as at today is beyond me. Please note that the 2 bonuses of 1 for 8 and 1 for 5 is even yet to be effected. Please deal with the shares of the company with a lot of caution. Thanks for this The increase should come from the right issue. |

Jochez15: As the qualification date for aiico bonus have passed, is it still advisable to continue holding aiico? If you sell now, hope you will get the whole bonus? The qualification date was yesterday which is a public holiday. I don't know if it will automatically be shifted to today. |

swilo: My question is who will pay for the bloating of the books. If no one pays they the market price will make that adjustment for now. Meaning Mansaard may likely sell for sub 1 when the time comes but the trick of improving the EPS makes it confusing.
Can anyone help me here please? Correct me if I am wrong. Abeg. from the share premium and retained earnings

Lion123: Naira traded at 525 to a dollar in 2016 and everyone thought the world had ended. It still dropped to N360 and stayed there for a while. This too shall pass. Based on risk assessment in financial institution dollar will hit 550 in 2021 and most are already adjusting to that projection. As for me and family a percentage of my fund has been moved to crypto for long term |
