No problem
I will sacrifice for my nation
Only Apc keep complaining. Yes we know they will still have their way but this policy will shake them small and reduce vote buying
And for we masses lets suffer so that we will do away with tribalism this time around and do the right thing
Heard banks are even paying people with 5, 10, 50 naira note. I was so happy infact let them add coins to it your so called sacrifice is meaningless |

adekolaelect: He is talking as if they release enough new notes for Banks to dispense for Nigerians. He is talking as if the policy is beneficial to Nigerians than to hand over Nigerians to those that will be deducting their hard earned money in the name of transactions and electronics charges. You are making much more money from Nigerians yet you returned it back with nothing than hardship. You are only making money for government to be looted by politicians. the world is twisted and it has no purpose |

Yusufisraelj: Oga, do they have two billion? What are you saying, I changes my notes two weeks ago because I know some of us with attending to things very late, got 100, 200, 500 and 1000 all in multiples of the new currency and deliberately refused collecting old notes. I don't have time to waste in bank during rush hours.
If we have a habit of doing things early all these excuses are not tenable.
Someone said banks were giving old notes at ATM, except for those with medical emergencies, can't you return the monies to the bank?
Let's not keep giving excuses to encourage wrong behaviors abeg. The people in the village how long will it take them to go change the notes? CBN disbursed large sums of the new currencies to banks before now, most didn't go to pick them up, because corporately some politicians own shares and wanted to sabotage the policy. Why do you think CBN was issuing 1 million fines each day to banks last week? is this your worst? |
Politics › Re: Reps Reject CBN’s 10-Day Deadline Extension; Threaten To Arrest Emefiele by HellVictorinho7: 12:39am On Jan 30, 2023 |
ibrocool: To be candid, the time frame given is too short for the new currency to be in circulation and the so called politician that Buhari and CBN Governor claimed are targeting are the first set of people to get the new currency. Before most banks starts giving the regular customers the new currency, I've watched video of a high class event where all the money spent were new currency.
Modified.
For all those claiming that the time frame is not short, they should go to villages and see what it is like to get access to banks. Even some places in the city have just a bank in 5km radius. thanks for telling those bastards |
Politics › Re: Which Country Is Worse Than Nigeria? by HellVictorinho7(op): 12:25am On Jan 30, 2023 |
Napata77: There are MANY MANY countries worse than Nigeria.
You take what you have in Nigeria for granted.
A Ugandan I knew abroad many years ago was shocked when I told him I usually travelled to my village for christmas.
He said ''what village?''
''My ancestral village'', I replied.
He said it's a lie! He said in his country, there was nothing like returning to village for anything. Once you're out, you're out. There was nothing there, not even markets, shops, or houses, such as we have in Nigerian villages.
He said in Uganda the villages are deserted and desolate, and all you'll find there is a few wretched farmers and very old people in huts being looked after by UNICEF and other aid agencies.
I told him we have hotels and bars in my village, and mansions everywhere you look, and traditional festivals, markets, police stations, etc. The man said, ''then it's not a village. What do you mean by village?''
I was just laughing.
You people don't know what you have in Nigeria. at least you won't force me to accept problems i am yet to know in Nigeria.the ones i know are enough.will you mind if i transfer some to you? |

pansophist: Somaliland nko?
A country bigger than the Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg) and the Baltics (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) combined, but not recognized by the larger world even their neighbors? I want to believe that you know the difficulties of being a citizen of an unrecognised state, you practically do not exist with all intent and purposes.
If you are a billionaire in Somaliland, your currency is officially non-convertible, and you cant travel out since no one recognizes your passport and government, it's like being unwanted in the world of humans.
Nigeria may be hard, no doubt about that, but you can't compare it with some countries out there. At least you can travel out of Nigeria and the whole world will recognize you. So my guy, its okay to be angry, infact my daily dosage is anger, but dont remove common sense out of it. Nigeria has more being wasted by the rulers. The privileges enjoyed by the rulers here are too expensive. As for me,it is not about the impossibility of wealth. It is about the most terrible distribution of what is seen as a means. The rulers form the worst political parties, worst government, worst electoral body and system, worst misuse of chance..,power or resources. They consume the economy like wolves that have no other ability than to consume, vomit, then consume again. |
