Politics / Re: Everything You Need To Know About Tinubu’s Certificate Controversy by henryomez(m): 11:56pm On Jun 26, 2022
Thinkam:
grin baba couldn't complete secondary and primary school due to poverty. But surprisingly could afford to travel overseas.

I thought basic education was free and encouraged in West due to Awolowo, how come Tinubu wasn't a beneficiary?

It was also speculated, Tinubu mother was a rich slave trader and business woman , how come she couldn't finance her child basic education? When you apply for job do you submit your primary school certificate? Because it's obvious that before you attend uni you would have gone through secondary school.

Tinubu is definitely the Nigerian Version of Raymond Reddington...

This explanation is a BS

The document you just showed us of the university, confirming he attended the institution...

Why can't he also retrieve the remedial documents from Richard Dale, at least that's also abroad..

As it stands to me, this issue is still controversial...

Before you quote me unnecessarily, answer this!

If it was the requirement of a Job in your office, that I present my academic qualifications and I came with all this stories, wouldn't you press further?

OR would you accept my incomplete presentation?

Politics / Re: The Cjn’s Removal: The Lamps Are Going Out All Over Nigeria- Opinion by henryomez(m): 7:57am On Jan 27, 2019
Why report one side of the story. America wants to do what dey dis in iraq the same thing they in lybia rusia is surporting the president so at the end of the day they will turn venezuela to a battle ground so they can control their oil . what did America and other countries do when saudi arabia killed that jurnalist in the embassy. Oga forget it .

Is anyone in Nigeria closely following what is going on in Venezuela?

And if you are following, what does it tell you?

Ok. Let me give you an inkling of what will likely happen in Nigeria if Buhari and APC rig the 2019 election.

You have read the statements put out by the United States and the United Kingdom earlier on Thursday the 24th of January where both countries specifically warned against the rigging of the election and promised visa sanctions and even international prosecution for those who will be caught or indicted in the rigging of the election. Those who don't know or those who are so blind that they can't see, think that the statements by those countries are empty boasts. Let anyone in INEC, the security agencies and in the federal or state governments even try to rig this election and see. The international observers are coming in huge numbers more than ever before after reading the reports of the shame and sham in Osun State. The word has spread round and they are coming with a large delegation to observe the elections.

It's such a shame that the perceived gains of our electoral advancement in 2011 and debatably in 2015, have been eroded by the selfish and evil machinations of a desperate self-serving cabal.

With the US and the UK releasing warnings to Nigeria about electoral malpractices, it doesn't take much to look at what has been happening in Venezuela in the past three days or so.

In Venezuela, the leader of the opposition party ran for the Presidency with the incumbent President. The election was heavily rigged in the incumbent's favour and the international observers from the European Union and other countries, including the USA, reported the malpractices in that election to their home countries.

And what has happened?

President Trump of America a few hours ago duly recognised the opposition party leader as the President of Venezuela. Trump says the election was rigged and that the incumbent has to leave. What has followed? The European Union, Canada and other countries have also recognised the opposition party leader as the rightful President-in-waiting. Trump and the other countries have directed that all oil proceeds due to Venezuela be kept in a special account and will not be sent to Venezuela till the opposition candidate is rightfully sworn in. Trump has also agreed that the opposition leader can form his cabinet which the international community has agreed to recognise.

This means that the Venezuelan opposition party leader is now a President in the eyes of the world, while the incumbent president in his country is screaming blue murder. The opposition President will be given the status of an international Head of State and will be thus recognised. It's only a matter of time before the incumbent in Venezuela either accepts defeat or is removed by the people's protest when biting economic sanctions hit very soon.

How does this relate to the February election in Nigeria? Only the discerning can see what will happen.

If Buhari and INEC and the security agencies attempt to rig the election and results which do not reflect the will of the voters are declared, Nigeria should prepare themselves for the Venezuelan treatment.

Every Nigerian should be asking for right now is for free and fair elections in Nigeria. Let the people's will prevail.

It won't take one month of sanctions on us before the reality of what the effects of a rigged election on our economy and national psyche hit home.

A word is enough for the wise.

Politics / Re: Question: Why Can't We Campaign For One Of These Younger Minds? by henryomez(m): 8:43am On Nov 19, 2018
Bros u too know book wow very educating . that is why I have decided to still go with buhari . ]Because they have no chance of winning. And this is not because of the candidates per se, but because of the current stage of our democracy. Our democracy is only 24 years old. As such, we can't have a Trump or Macron rise from obscurity, because we haven't tackled the basics.

We have not reformed campaign finance. In terms of policy, the economy, and most of our critical issues; the vast majority of our voting population is grossly uninformed or unable to engage. 80% of those who'd read both the Next Level and Atiku's Policy Plan will not understand up to 5% of it. Then there are the subtle but very real ethnic and religious bias that cloud the election process.

As a result, campaigning for any of these candidates is an exercise in futility as anyone doing so would be setting the cart before the horse.

Lastly, virtually all of those candidates are just as complicit as to the state we've found ourselves as any of the geriatric front runners for 2019.

* Donald Duke was a governor who performed averagely. His star project Tinapa is one of the most iconic white elephant projects of the last two decades. He is on record for sabotaging an elected government on the direction of the same powers that be.
* Madam Oby served under OBJ, like Atiku. She also sold us the scam in 2015. If Buhari had rewarded her like her BBOG co-founder Hadi, it is highly unlikely she'd be contesting for the Presidency. She's no different from Keyamo and the other anywhere-belle-face activists.
* Sowore also sold us the scam in 2015. And as late as 2017 was still selling the scam even when the illiterates in the village knew otherwise. He like Buhari has a narcissistic complex thinking he holds all the solutions. There's no one he hasn't derided forgetting as President, he'd would need to handle these forces with care and engage if he's to make any progress.
* Moghalu was a CBN deputy governor. Enough said.
* Durotoye also sold us the scam in 2015 and his campaign rips directly from the books of how our established politicians ply their trade. Bottom line, his candidacy does not hold as much promise as his high-sounding words may appear.

These our young aspirants are the Babangida, Abacha, and other young military officers during Nigeria's infancy. Pillars that have been part of the problem whitewashing themselves as saviors. My advice for them is to go local and change things. If the Presidency is the only way you can effect change, you need to take a chill pill.

Buhari was a military governor. Atiku won a governorship election. GEJ, Yar'Adua, and OBJ same thing. It is the height of arrogance to expect that because you run a newspaper, ran an activist campaign, or are young, then the nation's seat of power should be gifted to you.

Tbills is fix deposit with cbn while the other is with your Bank. Another diff is that tbills Starts from 1m and above while fd is 100k. Tbills has to be either 3months 6months and 1yr while fd is from 1month. Tbills rate is same irrespective of the amount its the tenor that determines the rate while fd ia amount that determines the rate. Fd pays your interest at maturity while tbills pays upfront these are the major diff

Politics / Re: Breakdown Of September 2017 Allocation To The 36 States by henryomez(m): 10:07am On Oct 17, 2017
obailala:

If only Niger Delta militants can nack correct akpako ontop the heads of Niger Delta governors who currently receive the largest allocations by far but only use the funds to party with oloshos, I guess that would be a more honourable 'first' thing to do. With the marginally higher allocation going to those states, there's really no reason ehy they should be less developed than some other states with much lower allocations. Just imagine a state like Bayelsa with the least population in the region, but they still owe salaries. Even Delta with the largest allocation still owes primary school teachers.

But then again, the so called militants are only after their pockets, most are even sponsored by the same state governors.

arinzeejikonye:
This is an ambiguity of gross misinformation, and his verbose expletives reeks of odious sentimental arrogance,

Here Reno acted like a bigoted political chauvinistic ignoramus, this is crudely condescending and a commonsensical dissonance and offensive misrepresentation of facts,

Your disconnection from truism is a pointer to your trepid political bellicisity towards the incumbent,
1.the daura is gonna have a detour, station for transit, hence it has been part of the original masterplan for the Western line known as lakaji that is lagos-kano-jibiya,
Daura is within jibiya local government area,

2.for a paradigm of diversification to become a practicable reality, you need to an advancement of the agricultural supply chain,

3.the backward integration plan, involves value Chain addition, which includes faster freight of agro-consumables without delay to points of termination, demand points, supply points, production points, retail points, etc

4.the reagriculturalization plan, involves mitigation of excess westages from inadequacies in preservation of agro-consumables, by this means cooling and refrigerator coaches will be introduced to curtail the anomaly,

5.the roads are becoming increasingly expensive to maintain, hence transportation logistics is a pointer to diversification of our mono economy, hence by taking agro-consumables from roads to fastidiously expedite their movement on rails, our roads becomes more durable and last longer, with reduction in road accidents,

6.the daura within jibiya is a path towards the neighboring country of Niger within the West African subregion, hence their is transnational transregional economic integration, hence the facilitation through the logistics of transportation, by this means movement of goods boosting regional trade, Some of the beef you eat comes From niger Republic,

7.no need to wallow in sadistic trepidation, because, the eastern line, traverses major cities of the East including portharcourt, umuahia, Aba, enugu, markurdi, jos, bauchi, maiduguri,

8.coastal line includes otueke, onitsha, warri, yenagoa, calabar, Lagos, portharcourt, etc,

9.Currently there is ongoing resuscitation and expansion of ajaokuta - itakpe - warri - apapa line,

10.the handlers are the Chinese, you saw the tremendous job they did with Abuja - kaduna line, and the spreading their tentacles tentatively allover the sub-saharan, from Nairobi to nakuru to Mombasa to daresalam in Kenya and Tanzania to Addis Ababa in Ethiopia to Djibouti, etc

11.General Electric, is the major concessionaire, with the plan of bringing in 100 coaches, including refrigerator coaches, while the also handle the resuscitation, recalibration of the narrow Guage line, Some are replaced with standard Guage rail, including rolling stock, etc,

12.the investors confirmation and confidence shows that the viability of the lines is an irrefutable guarantor of return on investment,
Remember trajectory to self-sufficiency is becoming feasible, hence every facet of the country must fall in line to comparative advantage for diversification from the oil economy,

13.if you think GE, China, are fools then you thought wrong, for them to be investing tens of billions of dollars in this projects, mind you this is no longer business ass usual, hence the concession deal, past experience was ladden with parsimonious avidity, rapacious devastation and cantankerous mind boggling embezzlement, Issues of inadequacies, ineptitudness, inefficiencies, exacerbated the already aggravated situation,

So no more kickbacks, bribery to forestall the projects,
However, the government must be watched closely to avoid her mortgaging our future prosperity by shortchanging us today,

Incase of balkanization, decentralization or conflagration the deal remains unchanged.
The key word is "continuity".
God bless you for this epic response and education

Celebrities / Re: Nigerians React As 2face Cancels Nationwide Protest (photos) by henryomez(m): 11:08am On Feb 05, 2017
In his song 'Only Me', 2face called for unity of all to achieve our common goals. He stated particularly that he could behave any how he feels only if it was just him in the country. He said we musn't be pushed to the wall as together we stand strong. He said to put aside feeling 'different' from the masses as that is vanity..

I vividly remember these songs. And in the wake of these protest plans, I always told my fellows 2face had always been inspired to lead the charge for the masses. He became a leader. He promised to stand for the masses. He inspired millions of Nigerians, even in other states to this cause. At that moment when he should act, he abandoned his doctrines; he became a politician; a typical Nigerian leader.. He left with the fame and left the people stranded.

2face just proved that weed, or money; not the Nigerian plight was his inspiration. Well, maybe without Nigerian fans, you still would have been whom you became. So it's okay to act the way you did. After all, you clearly stated 'you don't wanna sound like a preacher at all..' We mistakenly took you for one. Our bad. But please, don't criticize others again. You are no better.

-DesChyko.
Also 2face would have been used by all this politicians to discredit the buhari govt they told him to council it so it will look like he was pressured to do so.

angryhumanbeing:
Good Day pals, please pardon all grammatical errors because I am very angry now as I write this.
I am a known person here but I decided to change my name.

I am a banker. I was working in bank X before i joined bank Y. I had wonderful experiences in bank X. I decided to join bank Y so as to have experience there too. But ever since I joined bank Y, it has been disaster working there from the very first day I entered there. The manager has been tormenting me from the very first day he sighted me. I dont know if we have struggled for a babe b4, i just dnt knw. I am a permanent staff but this man treats me like a cleaner. The time for us to be in the office is latest 7.20am but in my first week there, i came to work by 7.17am and this man was shoutn and embarrasing me outside the bank where customers queues up to withdraw from the atm. Dat was my first bitter encounter wit him. I was brought to the branch as Funds Transfer Officer but it took this manager a full month to create me as FTO. On my Third day on the job, He connived with another bad colleague and they pushed me to the atm as ATM Custodian. This I was doing with tears because this man was just making life unbearable for me by threatening me all the time. All the jobs in the branch was given to me to do except FTO jobs. He refused creatn me and even wen i was later created, he still refuse i work as FTO. Theres sometn called cashdrop box, and its meant for contract staff to work there but this man forced me to work there for even upto a month combined with atm custodian and other cash jobs while the other bad colleague walks around pressing fones and chattn. Later in November, the Area Manager visited and said i should be returned as FTO. Ever since then, this manager will pack other peoples job on me and be embarassing me in front of customers when I dnt finish them. Whenever I tried to complain, he will start shoutn and insultn me in front of customers. This has been happening for upto 5months now. I joined this particular bank in late August and by middle of september, 6 staff angrily left the branch because of this manager and his accomplices. By tomoro, another staff is leavn becos of constant quarell wit manager. The branch has been under wicked rule by this manager and the other bad colleague. For the past 5months I have been here, its been hell. I have reduced drastically in size. Even size 30 trousers are very loose on waist now becos of so much thinkn, insults and harrasments from this man.
I have planned to resign at the end of the month becos of the evil torture of this man and the other bad colleague. Please I need matured advices becos i am almost like a walking corpse. Each week i feel sick here. One sickness or the other.
Any day i remember i will go to dat office, my mind will be filled with sadness becos theres no single day this same man will nt harrass me.

Pls mods help me. I need advices and i have made up my mind to leavn here becos each day i see this man and the other bad man, i feel like shooting them to death becos as i speak nw, the other bad man does nothn in the branch. He only snaps pics, chat and walk around. He comes to work by 7.45am and the manager will nt say a word!

Pls mods help me do the needful. Thank you.
