U sound like an Omo butter who doesn't know struggles people pass through in Nigeria. Many spend a decade in medical school yet they never failed or repeated any class. I never had a resit let alone a repeat.

But almost every science student wanted to become a doctor. They never knew they dodged a bullet. That occupation is pure crap and not worth the stress.

I spent 9 years in medical school and it was worth the stress. I'm proud to be a doctor and will never regret studying medicine by God's grace.

They know 25k is a chicken change for students paying annual fee of almost a million naira.

But truth be told, when JOHESU members goes on strike the hospital management and doctors will beg them for skeletal services, like stores being open, account to work their salary, the generator being on for them and so on. And when the strike cast, JOHESU members will be on their own and not even missed. Most times no salaries for them.

Its too bad for business and this is a serious biz.
I pray they get this one right. And the members committed.

But I believe that when a union goes on strike, they shouldn't lock up govt properties as if it is theirs, they should hand them over to the management and walk home, I doubt if doctors lock anything up when they go on strike, they go home with their brain and expertise.

Our health sector is a big sham but a question. Is johesu fighting the doctors or the govt?

So let the govt give amnesty to Shekau today and see if the army will not terminate him behind the scene.

Uniforms of military personnel could be intimidating but that job no easy mehn. No freedom of expression, movement, no time for family. However, these NDA guys are the chiefs in the military.

Why blame the army for the amnesty, are they the ones granting it?

Barbing, that profession is underrated in Nigeria.

Do u really blame the army? Only God knows how many soldiers he had killed, then claimed to retire to embrace an amnesty program that would grant him safe custody. The army couldn't forgive him for their personnel that lost their lives through him, so they avenged their death.

The funny thing is the govt will just come patch the road and this incident will keep recurring and the patching will continue till the road will be covered in the budget in 20yrs time. Naija is in trouble.
