With over 2000 applicants, I scored 69 and from 2000 the number of applicants reduced to 15 and I was no9 on the list. I sourced like 20k, visit a boutique, bought 2 packing shirts, pant trousers, covered shoes, neck tie etc. I was left with the transport fare (to & fro) and feeding allowance.

We converged at the cantonment, the funniest part was that other States like Ekiti, Ondo, Oyo used government vehicles to convey their applicants to Lagos State.
Fast forward to the interview, I had never owned/ wore a suit in my life, I decided to borrow one from somebody who had been interviewed.

The suit looked like what I can simply describe as "my brother dash me" - over sized. It was my turn to enter, I put my hands in my pocket, trying deceive them on my outfit, one officer just said to me "u go borrow suit?" No sir, I replied.
The following day l went to the officer's mess to eat, I asked for rice and beans #100, they were just laughing at me not knowing that they sell per plate, ask me how much? #300 per plate

After some days we had returned, I went to the command to ask for the outcome, only to be told that the list had been hijacked by the politicians in government house.

A teacher friend is also guilty of this SCHOOL NA SCAM, I always wondered the kind of knowledge my friend will impact on the learners.

Jobs are not gotten in the Federal and States civil service or public service because of what an employee can offer but because of the level of his education represented in his certificate and connection.

People working in the ministry of Agriculture should be farmers with experience in livestock production and cropping who resume work by 8am at least six days a week in Government owned farms to increase our agricultural exports and diversify our economy which relies on petroleum. Those working in the ministry of mining should be responsible for minerals exploration and the Government wouldn't spend billions hiring foreign companies. Those in the Ministry of works should be Engineers who make sure roads built in each community are maintained . But people working in those ministries only have to present a second class upper division degree in Library science and with proper connection they can get a job in those ministries only to resume work by 11 am every morning , gossip all day at the office and leave by 3pm.

Everyone knows when you have any degree and connection you can get a job. That's why degrees are sold. At the end of the day sitting in an office generates no revenue for the government but the government will still have to pay them from oil revenue.
