In one of our training sessions yesterday, the facilitator collected a Nokia torch hand set with fully charged battery. He brought a fresh egg. Then he put the egg and the handset together and placed them into a polythene bag. He tied the bag and told us to call the phone number..... Calling....calling.. ..busy.. busy. When the battery was drained down, he gave the phone to the owner and cracked the egg. Behold the egg was cooked!!.. done!!!. We were surprised and asked for the explanation. He told us that every handset emits electromagnetic rays. That it was the rays that was responsible for cooking of that egg. He also said that for device to be named " hand set " by international bodies is not by accident. He said that it is never a pocket set. He went on to say that males (men) have egg resemblance in between their legs...scrotum. He admonished men to stop putting their hand set in their pockets, but to hold on hand. If you continue to put set in your pocket, the radiation from it will denature your spermatozoa and cook your scrotum . That is one of the reasons our men will marry 2 to 3 years no Issues. They begin to blame their wife. They will visit men of God for fasting and prayers. God will answer them and reverse the condition, but coming out of the church, they put back the handset in their pockets and continued to denature their sperm and cook their scrotum again. Before a communication mast is mounted in your property, you will be paid between 10 to 20 million naira as long as you sign a document the network provider gives you. People don't even read the document. Only sign and collect the pay. The document reads in part within the middle ( we are giving you this money to buy land in another place and relocate, because what we are about to mount here is dangerous to your health ) . If you continue to stay there in about 10 to 15 years period, you and others living there will be suffering from one cancer case to the other. Please , don't be putting handset in your pockets. Inform your friends and relatives about the dangers. Ladies inform your brothers, male friends and relatives the same. By putting sets in your pocket or inside bra Can cause prostrate and breast cancer respectively. - |

Press Release. 10th June, 2019. *PAY SUBEB, LG WORKERS FROM THE N5.4B TAX REFUND, GROUP URGES GOVERNOR ABDULRAHMAN.* Following the news and the release of the sum of N5.4 billion tax refund due to Kwara State on May 28 of this year, we, the People's Voice, wish to submit our resolutuons in this regards: 1. That, the Kwara State Government under the leadership of His Execellency Alhaji Abdulrasaq Abdulrahman may wish to exercise the powers conferred on him by the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to order that the money should be used to pay PART of the outstanding salaries of both SUBEB and Local Government workers. 2. That the refund money in question is outside the 2019 signed budget, therefore, the State government is at liberty to graciously and judiciously use it in championing any developmental project of public interest. And by our assessment, as a patriotic group of Kwarans, we found the payment of the outstanding salaries of the category of workers' mentioned above as paramount. 3. Our research also reveals that, both the Local Government and SUBEB (and their respective pensioners) will cost Kwara State Government N2.1 billion to pay for a month salary, therefore the available fund can cater for two and half payment or better still pay 2 months. While we suggest that the remaining N1.2 billion should be set aside for other infrastructural development projects in the state. 4. We wish to emphatically re-register our stance that the non-compliance with the court verdict and other relevant regulatory provisions that has to do with the State Government taking full charge of the running of Junior Secondary School Education in Kwara State away from Local Government Councils cannot promote nor guaranty academic excellence if it is allow to continue. The group through its Deputy Publicity Secretary call for immediate compliance actions on the part of the state government. 5. The group members observed that, leaving the financial commitment of Junior Secondary School in the hand of helpless tier of government like Local Government Area Councils is simply puting part of our Basic education in comatose And if the state government continues to play hide and seek game with the issue of Junior Secondary School Education funding in the state, it will not only spell doom in the future of our young ones but also on the generation yet unborn. God bless Kwara State. Signed: *Comrade Abdulraheem Kehinde,* *Assistant Publicity Secretary,* *The People's Voice.* |

Oyerinde16:Saraki also enjoyed federal might and that was what Kept him in power till he met his Waterloo. Then, our votes didn't count. Many of us voted APC without even knowing some of these candidates simply because we were tired of Saraki dynasty, looting and misappropriation of public fund. |
Oyerinde16:Forget the federal might or militarisation ooo. We were tired of dynasty, simple! |

Date: 2019-06-01 Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrasak has said that his government is poised to clear salaries and pensions backlog before implementing the new minimum wage. The Governor, who addressed civil servants in the state on Friday, stressed that his administration hopes to end the salary backlog and discuss with workers on best ways to address wage-related issues. The problems are a lot, we cant resolve them in one, two, three, four months, but we need to start resolving them. Like the issues of salary; it has been brought to my attention that the May salary is still outstanding. That will be paid immediately. You have to remember that some people are on half salary and they have not been paid. Some people have been promoted a few years ago and are still on the old salary scale. Mr. Abdulrasak added that even after paying, the state cannot afford to pile a backlog of salaries. The truth is that we want to get to a stage where there is no backlog of salaries and pension, thats where we are heading to now. We need to clear this before coming to the issue of the minimum wage, which we also need to sit down and discuss because we cannot agree to pay and start backlog again. The intention is to pay; we got to the transition program and a lot of issues we have seen.
