Just visit the acro police website. You'll see the procedure for submission of the application. Please when applying make sure to choose a UK address for delivery or at least secure international delivery. Otherwise your free delivery option cannot be tracked and your certificate can get lost in the mail.

Just go to https://www.acro.police.uk/police_certificates.aspx and apply. It cost £40 but if you want to sent directly to you in Nigeria, you will pay additional fee of £47.

You are in IP1. Next stage is supposed to be IP2 but with recent trends people have been moving from IP1 straight to PPR. I'd say give it 1 more month and if no change then order your gcms notes

We've picked a date (April 28), now its time to plan the day. As a follower of this forum, I have decided to plan the wedding by sourcing for vendors on NL. Please find below details of vendors needed. Guest list is 200 and we are working with a lean budget.

Good afternoon people.

Since visa validity is usually 1 year post medical, can someone redo medical test few days before post-ITA submission.

A medical exam was done earlier but for some reasons, the application couldn't be submitted.

Use the "come to Canada" tool from CIC to check your eligibility

You can't be in the pool if you are not eligible, you can only create a profile.

I'm not so sure. I've read contrasting information online (some say it doesn't affect CRS points at this stage¿¿)

One thing is certain, you will have to update the application and upload necessary docs. However, I'm not sure of how to implement that (CSE?) and how it affects processing timeline

Please which periods are best add a spouse to one's application? I understand it's best before one gets an ITA, however, I feel there should be a window for such inclusion post ITA. Thanks.

You are required to update your profile if you get married (or other changes) at any time throughout the process.

- pre ITA: easy, just update your profile

- if it's post ITA: recalculate your CRS point, if it's above the cutoff for your ITA, you're good (use Modify Family information tab). Else, decline the ITA

- post COPR: you must return docs and update your application as appropriate . It might set you back a couple of months.

- post landing (PR) : too late, you have to sponsor your spouse for his/her visa

- you spouse will have to do medicals and PCC in all cases
- do a quick calculation now with and without your spouse to see how much difference the CRS points are. Your spouse may also have to write IELTS test and do ECA to keep the points before and after being married close.

Immigration. Don't be surprised your boss just received ITA. I met some senior colleagues and bosses during IELTS test and medicals.

As advised by @Optionese, adopt the child legally. Changing his name is not enough, same surname doesn't prove you are his legal guardian.

Also for future sake, you don't want to be accussed of "kidnapping and smuggling" the child out of the country.

From information available online and testimonies of others, yes you can apply for EE as a self employed entrepreneur.

You will need articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, income evidence, tax clearance, reference letters from clients, bank statement showing payments made by clients over the years, sworn affidavits, contract agreements, ...etc. Summary, as long as you have documents to back it up, you are good.

I have received ITA but I just discovered an error. My Wes ECA report evaluated my law school as diploma which I didn't realise while I was entering the pool. I selected masters/professional degree which made my score higher. Now I realise I should have selected two or more degrees. Though my score will still be very high but not up to the present score. What should I do. Can I make changes even as I have recieved ITA.

Make necessary updates to your profile. If your score is higher than the lowest CRS point for the round (cut-off), then you are good. If it is lower, reject the ITA so you will be back in the pool.

Has anyone tried MOD IELTS testing centre? I heard about them, and that you can pick your speaking test date. How true is this?
