Tlovely:you know no people. The southeast politicians are now playing the games of deception the southwest initiated when zik, Ojukwu and of recent when Rochas came to contest. Money will be swallowed and votes go to who they believe is closer to them. Igbo man support a Yoruba mans leadership? Hmmm!!! my friend go and read the history of Nigeria politics and sample the real individual views if an igbo man and they will tell you what will surprise you to your marrows. Forget about what they say from a group, forget about what you hear from lagosians whose election would be well divided, forget about what you hear on this platform, just sample and report back. You think the dss never knew of the antics of the opposition on using the said APC membership registration to manipulate the process by making information known to the influenced INEC officials in the states so as to give cards to the APC members alone and disenfranchising other party members just to win election? Well do ur research well. |
Fr. Mbaka why didn't you tell the first lady these when she came face to face with you but rather you praised her and urged ppl to support her husband but coming in less than a month, you change your speech? Is this not an act sycophancy? There is something behind we do not know. Mbaka how come you condescended so low with these speeches? Charity begins at home and if you claim to be doing the work of God, I believe God should have brought to your notice that not all those that brought tithes and offerings in the church made it in the right way and expected you to voice out. Have you ever for once condemned directly and in strong terms rebuked them never to come with their blood stained money or face the wrath of God or you just take their money and add them to your ministry? The judgment of God will start from the house of God and with the these set of men of God. |
kestolove95:. yea, I understand and I agree with you but just as I mentioned earlier all of those representing us aren't doing enough to help. Its for thier selfish interest. We see how they jump ships from one party to the other. If the bill is sent for the house to look into and agree on, will the president now be accused to have stopped it when he has promised no interference between all tiers of govt? Why the delay? I bet you even some opposition will not want to support the bill when its not in thier favor. Even reps from our regions will want to know how it will affect them-positively or negatively irrespective of thier party. Selfishness. Look at our judiciary, why is our court process taking time? Even if the head is accused to be bad, was the head controlling the rumbles that sometimes takes place in the stomach? While the head is yet to do more, some followers are worst. |
Hmm! |
Larow:Mr. My life is better and will continue to be better. If yours is bad, go and dispose it in a wastebin! |
oluspencer:too early to say until the election figures are released and we would know who the Igbos stand with. For the Igbos I now know....ehm, APC should be careful not to be deceived by some set of individuals. |
That man is as foolish as a mad man. Well he is speaking for himself am sure and not for the igbos. For his mere prediction, he decided to pitch tent with those he never wanted. Why not help to strategize with the one you pitched tents with before now and help to achieve the best " Politicians and betrayal; these causing hatred among tribes for years" why not the stupid comment maker strategize with the igbos to present a candidate and contest the election? Why are the igbos always used to decide bwtween two regions who feel they are more better than the others. By the way who is and those bastards!!! Nobody knows them in the southeast. |
chukwudi44:thank you my brother. His comment is unlike him. I have respected these man of God for years and I still do, but for his comment, something went under. Why coming now to voice out the inability of the president when you have heard and seen for months what u believe he has not addressed. GEJ has no time for him, Lai, Kwankwaso, OBJ etc have said many silly comments about GEJ and nothing happened why will anything happened to a priest who just only aired his views? |
kestolove95:good, the up should be fix, I agree but would you also agree that even when the leg is bad, it can't take the head where it wants to? If those u and I sent to represent us even the so call APC saints saw that the head is bad, what have they done to address the system or are they all APC, PDp, etc blind to see nor deaf to the ppls complain? Must thier be a change in power before drastic steps are taking? The petroleum industry bill is there with our representatives, what stopped them from passing it knowing fully well it will sanitize the industry of corruption? Just last month, the labour unions came out to ground activities to the detriment of millions of Nigerians because they were protesting for one of their members who was victimized, then they realized the PIB is not passed and pretended to be fighting for the masses. The recommendations of the national conference is there, why do they have to select some that didn't affect them to look into? |
PureNigerian:kid who is lying to you. Are just waking up to the fact that the social media has taking up your useful time to read from the pages of the newspapers, go to the libraries, listen and watch political updates as well as searched for information on the net. Go and find out. |
lucrownt:did you hear that the warship belongs to NIMASA to manage the water ways? But on the issue of ppl attributing the insecurity in the northeast to GEJ weakness, truth be told, the president needs to take the blame but even the representatives from that regions are not doing enough to help and if one could look carefully would find out that the president is as careful not to cause religious and ethnic tensions. He is careful not to be accused by the northern elders of committing genocide as has been accused of the former militarily chief who notwithstanding his success in curtailing the activities of the sect was accused of genocide and sponsoring the sect. Again, if the prediction of the USA and the west is something to go by, the government in power needs to be careful in its decision making and actions else the system collapses. Finally, will the president go against the wishes of the representatives who says they don't want the emergency rule? I watched an interview with a borno state government official on the issue of the chibok girls on Channels TV, my brother, that day I believed there are more to the chibok girls which the state government is not telling us than we hear. A simple question is, if the kidnapping of the chibok girls was not planned by some of these officials, how come the 219 or so hijabs were provided immediately for those children? See, its not just what the media feeds us with, there are many things that are not disclosed to the public. What are the security votes been given to state governments meant for? Is the military the only security apparatus in the country? Even only recently when the fed govt wanted to purchase arms, we all could see the unnecessary dust it raised from all quarters, even the international community aren't helping matters. how unfairly has this man treated some ppl? Its saddens me. Abegi. |
kestolove95:sorry just passing by. But why GEJ? Why not first ask the contractor who is an igbo man for not doing the road, why not ask the representatives from that states, why not ask Ike ekweremadu who is the deputy senate leader then publish thier comments before attacking the president who must have release the money to them. Do you know if the contractor from your state or the representatives from your state have diverted the funds. FOI is not just to open the mouth wide. Go to the right quarters and do the needful first. Na WA for people oh! |
azimibraun:it just a hope. Religion and ethnicity will play a huge, I mean a very huge role in politics. Osibanjo may be better in his speech but pitching tents with a man who once said Christian should vote for Christians, and Muslims for Muslims. A man who said dogs and baboon will be soaked in blood, a man who never condemned the killings until recently because of his ambition. And finally for hobnobbing with those who tribalism is thier second name and who he once condemned to be corrupt and he knows are still corrupt, its a No No. |
lucrownt:why not think of the cause before thinking of the effect. Who started the boko haram problem and why? Why using it to destabilize the administration of another person because he is not a Muslim or from the north? Why not wait when the mantle of leadership gets to the north then they can begin the killings- its simply wickedness. My friend don't be sentimentally bias. Its the problem I have with a section of this country who some of then out of sentiments fails to condemn who or those that ought to be condemned. GEJ is not perfect but better than GMD. |
Carlmax:I am not against your choice moreover I won't be there to know who you will vote for. But its senseless and baseless when people join the bandwagon without knowing why they are doing so. Its just that some people are doing that out of sentiment and not because GEJ has not tried. I will rather pitch my tent with GEJ for so many reasons. GEJ is not the best but GMD is neither close to being the best. Nigeria's problem cannot be solve in 10 years. |
What does the catholic church have against GEJ. Remember Buhari said the Christians should vote for the Christians and Muslims vote for the Muslims. He also said if he lost the last election that baboon and dogs would be soak in blood. My questions is what does light have with darkness in this time of election? My country men and women are you baboons and dogs to be campaign to? He that made the statements should visit the zoo where he could find baboons and dogs. Christians don't dig your graves with your thumbs!!! |
myhoodlink:... not even the politics he has adequate knowledge of. The last time it was cardinal okojie, now it is even the well respected father Mbaka. Some months ago it was the Catholic church bowing out of CAN. My question is, do the catholic have any grudge against GEJ? My suggestion to some of these priests that dabble into politics or pass inadequate information on the political situation of the country should seek for more adequate information on the secrets of what is going on in the country before saying what they like. Hope the catholic church and the redeem won't allow them to use them to dig the grave of the Christians. |
I don't understand this igbokwe of a man. Igbos are contributing to the economy of Lagos through their commercial activities and thier investments which are been taxed. So if the people decides to make a choice and vote someone else, is it a crime? Is it not a Yoruba man and even an indigene of Lagos will still be voted in? He should go with is threat and sentiments, the igbos have gone beyond such threat many years ago. My only pain atimes is against my igbo brothers who easily make their feelings public. Why not be calm and make your moves rather than voicing out your grievances. Silence has a powerful way of passing huge information. |
Don't know if to blame you or the load carrier? i think i will blame you madam Nkechinyere. Before coming to Nigeria, why didn't you call a relative of yours to know the precautionary steps to take or to even come and assist you? I know you may have wanted to see the country sides, the roads, and the level of development but why didn't you just take a flight to owerri or Enugu or asaba since you have such money and those sensitive documents with you. Well if you are a citizen of the state or permanent resident, I think you can still approach the embassy to inform them I am sure they would do something for you but for the money and other items. its gone forever. I sympathize with you though. Sorry!!! |
Na only Christian de fight this war for them. More than 30 out of 54 are Christians sentenced to death. So unfortunate. What do I have to say but to say a prayer for them. |
DesChyko:a woman said she can't hurt a fly, I laugh her face. Trust nobody! The bible says a mother can abandon her own child...so she can kill her child else why tell lie to the Oba's messengers, why fleeing if she knew she did nothing wrong, why hurriedly burying the dead with raising an alarm for the neighbors to help rush her to the hospital or suggest what should be done? For me oh, she killed the girl cause the girl have exposed her and would have done more. |
dklex:why u de vex Mr. Short hand writer. U only speak for ursef, except ur chick or wife tell u wetin u won hear, u no fit know who she go vote for. Hope when Goodluck win, lagoon or power station de close to u. |
DaBullIT:assassinate by who? Someone from the south, the president? Look, you feels that way because you thought so. Boko haram not a Muslim? Now a Christian because they read the psalm from the bible while spitting fire. The north only rejected them because they are extremist, misunderstanding the Quran. God forbids it happens but till then...God help us. |
Toks2008:GEJ is not perfect just like all of us on this platform. He has his flaws. I have talked about what GEJ have done in a post so I won't repeat it again but simply challenge you on some points. 1. You talked about financial misappropriation, but the last time I checked the house of reps comprises the APC and PDP members, why have they not request that thier emoluments be reduced and thier business of legislation be a part time if they are sincere of helping us and the govt to check and fight corruption after all they are also a check to the executive? 2. You talked of amnesty. Fine, Militants I know and thier request is not hidden but the terrorists I do not know and for thier request of Islamizing the country, would you accede to it? 3. You talked about defeating boko haram. Though the government is not doing enough in terms of manning our borders, reducing the influx of illegal and legal immigrants but I believe you know this is a guerilla warfare and very difficult to fight which we are trying to defeat. My question is with the military equipments of Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, have they defeated the terrorists in thier region? I believe you heard what they did to some pupils (my heart felt sympathy) in Pakistan yesterday? 4. Have you heard that when GMB was in power he said he never believed in democracy? looking back from where we are coming where OBJ had failed to unbundle the power of PHCN so that people could sue them whenever there is epileptic power but leaving it to GEJ to do that, where OBJ and other past leaders ought to have convened a national conference for us to address issues, where those past leaders from the north never remember that poverty and crisis can be fueled lack of education but leaving it to GEJ to build Almagiri schools for them and build dams for us, where GEJ have to do,massive construction of roads except if you based in just a state and don't travel, remodelled airports, reactivated a dead railway, increase workers and corpers salaries etc then I think GEJ is still a better choice, sentiment and hatred apart. |
Calculia:lol. Abeg no let laugh choke me. Some Una funny die. Kai. |
DaBullIT:Mr park well and think well. What do u mean if Boko haram kills the emir, it will destabilize and cause religious tension in the country? Haven't you heard that an emir have been killed before? Did u see a single star falling not to talk of crisis. If it happens let those who think killing and destruction are thier hobbies continue to display that in thier region because many will not tolerate such happening in their region else you will they will know some people have been suppressing thier angers for long. |
aurenflani:cool. Then tell me those you know Mr. Know all |
9jii:should he have condoned them and pretend all is well? Boko Haram bastards are from Chad and have infiltrated the north with their ideologies. Though some foolish politicians from that region are encouraging and supporting them, brainwashing some of thier uneducated people to support them to kill themselves and cause unrest to that region. This is my own understanding. |
BossAyuk:so you guys knew the mugucious mugu won't give APC much vote but allowed him to spend so much for the party. Lol. But it still a blow to APC. APC would have used someone from the east or south south to share the votes from those while those from the southwest that claimed they truly believe in change should show us it isn't out of tribe by casting thier votes so much for APC. But I am convinced that those for GEJ in the southwest are more than those against him and they are much both in nairaland and in reality. Less I forget, well done oh! Gov amaechi, you do well. Keep loosing oh |
espn:let me help that person you threw the question to. I made this comment on a headline. they say a man who do not know where the rain started beating on him will never know where it stops. If you believe GEJ is clueless then what would you say of president obasanjo and some northerners who failed to address poverty and lack of education in thier region? OBJ used EFCC effectively and brought GSM. Haha. Let us not be clouded by sentiments. OBJ had the power, I mean the unquestionable power to have fixed our refineries and power sector but failed, it takes a man without a military uniform to unbundle the monopoly of PHCN thereby giving power to people like you to sue the Distribution companies for epileptic supplies, yet you are not using it. But complain everyday. I mean what stops Landlords in streets, companies, markets unions from forming a strong unions to kick against some of the activities of these companies? It takes GEJ to pass the FOI bill so you can ask questions, talk and criticize the way you want. But are you asking your counselors and LG chairman and even governors questions too? It takes GEJ to release the allocation owed to Lagos by OBJ and is still complimenting it by still constructing and repairing the oshodi-Apapa and Third mainland bridge respectively as well as other roads in the south west and the country at large. It takes GEJ to remodel the MMA which is in Lagos and other airports that are not in his state of origin to a better look except you never visited it before he came to power. It takes GEJ to reactivate the railway starting from an opposition states like Lagos and Port Harcourt while also doing for others. It takes him to appoint an intelligent south westerner to man the agricultural sector, which have really improved greatly from the past. Dams are built, our universities and other institutions have received more fund from GEJ than the previous administrations if you do not know go and find out. Sure-P, You-win and some graduates internship programs have been set up to help youths and never forget that it was GEJ that increased the salary of corp members from #5k or #9k to #19800k. On the economy, the minister of finance wanted them to save through the excess crude fund, but many rep members and governors kicked against it, and now blaming GEJ. Mind you the economic meltdown is not affecting Nigeria alone, the middle east, some European countries and African countries are also feeling the pain. Italy is implementing the austerity measures too. On corruption, yes, he is not doing well but what is the house of reps members who receives fat emoluments done to help us and the government fight corruption. Are APC members not there too? Finally in crisis, we southeast, south south and southwest people bash ourselves on this platform. The southeasterners gives useful information to security agents in thier regions to help reduce the menace of kidnapping, the south southerners speaks to thier children to lay down thier arms, the southwesters kick against injustice but the northerners, who are been affected directly by terrorism have not told us how they want to quell the situation or how they want to help the government to solve the insurgency in thier region. Yet they believe power is thier exclusive right and until they come on board the problem should continue. Only immediately ihejirka left office, they wanted to crucify him in ICC and we all know what damage the sect did to lives and properties in that region after then. Even extending the emergency rule was a problem and it was during the period that the kano mosque and other places was bombed. GEJ is not perfect. But I believe, laying a new foundation for a new building is the most difficult part of any building. We are watching. He that doesn't know where the rain starts, will not know where it stops. I hope GEJ victory at the poll come next year will not cause many to commit suicide |
I don't think Mr. Tinubu is as thick skin as Mr. President because the FOI bill passed has made so many dick and Harry lash at the president. If it were to be GMB or OBJ heads may have roles. Religion and Ethnicity plays a huge role in our electoral process today and Tinubu tactical refused it but forgetting that Ethnicity and tribalism clouded his choice else, he should have known that the southeast haven't had a president nor a vice for long. He should have known that the south south, though Goodluck is still in power still need to have a "good" taste of the seat of power. I see this to be a contest between the southeast/southsouth/north versus the southwest/north while religion deciding where more votes swings because even the Professor pastor himself may not stop people from loving the incumbent president Tinubu said he seek a progressive democratic government....for each to contribute to rescue etc I wonder why he want people to contribute to rescue when APC wins. Had he forgotten he asked the APC members not to attend the national conference, a forum where they would contribute immensely and should how much the love this country. but unfortunately bitterness and hatred for the gentleman in power clouded thier thinking, One thing I know talk do not win election else Rochas, Labaran, Kwankwanso would win the primaries. Its both the rural and urban people votes that will count. For APC, I only see desperate politicians trying to put a democratic makeup. |
