AbakalikiPress: We Igbos are outspoken and autonomous . We don't hide stuff and do "kue kue" like Yoruba folk. If people like me don't speak out, who will? MY other bro quoted me and was mentioning Tinubu and other people suspected of dealing drugs among Yorubas- as if that is suppposed to hide the real facts that a lot of Igbos resident in Asia are actually nothing but drug dealers.
If you doubt me, go to Bangkok and lëgodi with ur own eyes. don't get me wrong. All tribes partakes in crimes. Do u notice that of recently, yorubas have engaged in rapes and ritual activities more than most other tribes, but do u notice also that they don't blow it out of proportion. So if u truly an Ibo, shouting for the whole world to hear and see isn't the solution, rather it increases the stigma. So keep it up Mr, one day you will be stigmatized. |

blackpanda: Obviously u are commenting based on ur bias or hatred for Obama. What u don't know is that no world leader in his right mind would support the unstable, clueless and corrupt regime of Jonathan. Its not only Obama that prayed for a change in Nigeria, all world leaders couldn't wait for Jonathan to be booted it. His administration was an eyesore.
And you asked what is wrong with Russia interfering Well, the american constitution is what is wrong. World peace is what is wrong. Security of the international community is what is wrong! what is unstable, clueless and corrupt in Jonathan's government compared to what is been experienced today? But funny enough, do you know many of those big powers haven't interfered or say a word? This is to show that those big powers doesn't want Nigeria to be the power house of Africa in all ramification. They want us to be perpetually indebted to them-else they remain our colonial master. No doubt there is corruption in Jonathan administration, but the proportion in this administration is massive-go and find out. People just want to be deceived about the fight against corruption, and that is what they are getting else no one has been penalized for any case bothering on corruption. Africans need to wake up, why is it when we make two steps forward, the big powers frustrates our efforts and take us 20 steps back? |

AbakalikiPress: They came to supply it to their Nigerian middlemen who are most probably IGBOS waiting somewhere in a Lagos hotel, who will then further convey it to the drug markets of Asia such as Mumbai, Thailand, Indonesia and Cambodia.
It is a complex business chain, and my Igbo brothers over here are the bottom feeders at the end of the chain. AKA (Street mules) Don't ask me how I know these things. Just help me thank God for my life, I am now into legitimate business.
To my brother quoted me below, the truth is that we Igbos might like to blame Yorubas as much as we like, or bury or heads in the sand pretending there is no problem among our Eastern Youth. But there is a big fire on the mountain among our people. And someone needs to speak out. and this is the platform for speaking out? Keep washing your dirty linen in public? There are many Ibo organizations, towns meetings, churches , Ibo magazines, markets where you could let people know about the rising rate of crimes a,d drug trafficking among the Ibos. Tomorrow if a man sees you on the streets and say woo! Drug trafficker or ritualist, what would you do? Smile, give him a handshake, fight at him or say you ain't among. In as much as I don't support any form of crime, I sometimes love taking a cue from the Yoruba. They chide their people in secret or use their language to correct them. Many times I have noticed that if a crime is committed by a Yoruba and it's brought to this platform, they flood the platform, so one wouldn't mention them and blow the crime out of proportion. But if they came very late to the platform, they keep mute and just read. If you truly an Ibo, brother keeping washing your dirty linen in public, one day abuses will be rained on you when you may seem angry. |

All these are lessons for our government, encourage our people with good government policies to invest here. Meanwhile, while should I even blame Southafrica for attacks when we are teaching them that we are not united and a southerner can be killed in the north and their properties destroyed, that instead of someone from the east to be a president of Nigeria, let the heavens fall. kinkonp: Below are the things you can conveniently do on the old WhatsApp that you can't do anymore in the updated one
1. Using the new whatsapp eliminates the usage of written status, you can no longer put up a written status update.
2. The new whatsapp has also eliminated the use of contact list, you can no longer view the contact directly on your phone so there is no way to send a message to people you just added to your contact that are on whatsapp. You have to go through a very long process.
3. Since there is no contact list, you cannot refresh your contact list to view new people.
But to the Snapchat gangs, WhatsApp has brought down new Snapchat features that may make you finally quit snapchat for WhatsApp in a full base .
So if you are the type that can't do without the above features, keep your old WhatsApp till it is compulsory to update.

For me, if an Ibo man becomes the number 1 citizen of this country, many of these agitations from the south-east and few part of the south-south will begin to fade. The Hausa, Yoruba, ijaw, Fulani has ruled this country, but I would love to see what the Ibos could do differently. I still believe secession is not the best option for the Ibos, let the rights given to other tribe be given to the Ibos before a good Judgment of them being business minded, wants to secede, hates themselves, hates the yorubas, marginalized and underdeveloped etc would be concluded. |

No illegal arrest or media trial. Rule of law was maintained. . On 31 December, 1983, he and his criminal gang struck with the excuse of tackling widespread corruption and within few months, . $1 = N15 £1 = N40 Volkswagen Beetle = N8, 000 Kids dropped out of school because their parents couldn't afford their school fees anymore. Businesses closed down. Foods were rationed as people queued up for essential commodities. Many Nigerians lost their jobs because the economy collapsed. Innocent Nigerians were arrested for free speech and human rights violated with impunity. The Constitution was suspended. . He blamed Alh. Shagari's govt for this mess. He blamed corruption, yet he jailed Dr. Alex Ekwueme (the Vice President) but left Shagari (the president) in his palace. . But when another gang threw him out, and within few months, Nigerians started smiling again. Our kids returned to school, food was in abundance again, Nigerians got their jobs back and the economy was revived etc. . In 2015: . $1 = N197-210 £1 = N289-320 Cars were affordable with local manufacturers smiling to the bank. Food was in abundance (at least a bag of rice was N7, 000) Kids were in school Businesses were booming with vibrant economy and people were gainfully employed. No illegal arrest or media trial. Protesters (esp BBOG) were not killed or teargassed. . On 29 May, 2015 when he was 'jega-ed' into power: . $1 = N315-490 £1 = N550-610 Local car manufactures shut down their plants due to harsh economic condition. Famine was unleashed on Nigerians and a bag of rice rose to N22, 000/27, 000 while minimum wage remains N18, 000. Kids dropped out of school. Businesses closed down, millions lost their jobs and inflation is in double digits. Illegal arrest, disregard of Rule of Law and media trial is the order of the day. Peaceful Protesters (esp IPOB) are being killed like chicken without provocation. . Just like in 1985, he's blaming corruption and his predecessor for the same mess he created within few months of assumption of office. "YOU CANNOT PUT A CROWN ON A CLOWN AND EXPECT A KING." word. History simply repeating itself. From my own view, Buhari is not a good administrator. He not favored by his "Chi" to be a good leader. The bible itself says when the righteous is in power, the people rejoices. But for me, if the grace of God is upon a leader, he prospers in his administrative dealings. |

So please don't tribalize it. Mr. Try sometimes to conceal your hates and wickedness. What concerns crime to the celebration people are going for? I heard this story but I disregarded until now that I am hearing the story again. Meanwhile come to think of it, what concerns customs and interstates roads that has no connection to borders or sea ports? If the customs are effective as they wants us to believe, they should have confiscated all those banned items at the port of entrances. This shows negligence of duties and officers at those positions should be penalized. Back to the matter, it is disheartening to subject some group of people to an untold hardship especially this period and for no good reason. What should they feed on when they get to thier destinations? Funny enough, why do you keep oppressing those who God has blessed?
