Jobs/VacanciesRe: 10 Reasons You Were Not Called After The Interview by highmood(m): 5:49pm On Feb 20, 2015
I think when you seem to be so familiar or trying to be over social can cause you to loose a job. This is because you may not know who is watching and making a wrong impression of how close you are to others even the staff. This alone can affect your chances. Its better you are on you own but remain smart rather than trying to be familiar. It happened to me in the past. I was the last person to me screened by the head of the department I was to work in, but i never knew the manager was watching and later requested I should be called in. After the interview, I believe I did well, but the Indian man have already seen me been so friendly with some staff members. Men, after the interview no call oh. I really learn from that experience.

PoliticsRe: Should Soldiers Be Deployed For The 2015 Elections? by highmood(m): 1:06pm On Feb 20, 2015
I want the military to be deployed for the elections. This is because the military is also a stake holder in this election and if situation becomes unmanageable by the policemen, they would still called, so why not use the military to prevent any breakdown of law and order rather than use them to calm unmanageable situations. And for those who think they have phobias for the military, they should sit in thier houses. For me, I feel safe having one military man close to me than a hundred of policemen. I support. The military should be used.

They may not have seen the live killings and live headings of some Nigerians. Many people think we are simply fighting a political war or just need a change of government. Its far beyond GEJ and Buhari. We are fighting a religious war.

Let me commend the Afenifere Group who have seen it before, now and is seeing the future. What the elders see while sitting, a child will never see while standing on an iroko tree. They know GEJ is the best choice after considering the pain Buhari caused them after killing thier sons, imprisoning many and disrupting development projects. I believe, the southwest will feel the tenderness of GEJ administration more when he comes into power but not forgetting the south-south as well as the southeast. Many projects are on-going and if the pace is sustained, we would see more true changes.
PoliticsRe: I Will Declare My Assets Publicly – Buhari by highmood(m): 7:51am On Feb 20, 2015
I see no big deal in declaring assets when they can use the names of family members and friends to steal and siphon money. Its just for the gullible to believe and fall for their antics. Assets or no Asset, him who wants to take back to the 80s will certainly do that. Assets or no assets GEJ is transforming our country more than what his predecessors have done. He is winning the war against the insurgent as a result of the new military equipments. he yesterday commissioned 4 new naval warship to fight sea pirates and insurgent. Today, he would be commissioning the new Ogbomosho mega power station. GEJ keep moving us forward.
PoliticsRe: Obasanjo Will Not Be Missed In PDP, Says Anenih by highmood(m): 7:13pm On Feb 16, 2015
menesheh:
BOTTOM POT. Why am taking a stay to supporting GEJ. Just few days ago,Obasanjo endorsed General Buhari as the man to deliver this nation. I was personally shocked, when I heard the news. This is because,I was expecting Baba to stay at the touch line, and leave Nigerians to study his body language. But the masquerade could not control his dance in the public market. Hence he mistakenly flogged his own mother who is also a trader in the market. Nigerians,I am left with no option than to tell us that, these ex- generals and their boys are up to something. The issue at hand is not all about the presidential seat. But rather, the national cake (oil blocks). Less I forget,is it not the same Obasanjo who woke up and hand picked his puppet 2011, who eventually grew like Joseph the messiah of Egypt? Is it not the same Obj that told us 2011,that General Buhari is too old to rule this country? Is it not the same Obj that told us Buhari is a dictator? Somebody should have a rethink like me. We must understand the preacher's language before decoding his message. If Obj can take a swift and prefer General Buhari to Jonathan,a puppet he dedicated his energy and resources to win 2011 election, then as an average Nigerian,we should have a rethink and ask our leaders what is so special in Aso Rock. If leadership is to serve the people, why is it that, the ex-generals finally gang up against their new recruit on account of change. If we're to outline the sins of Mr.President, are the ex- generals not guilty of such sins? One may ask why is SPEAKER taking a swift? My comrades,my father once said,if everybody is clapping before you walked in,courtesy demand you ask why they are clapping, before you join them doing so. Everybody wants change. But I am astonished the way and manner these ex- general joined the train of change. Is it that, this is the first time they heard the word change? If NO,why did they not change this country when they were given opportunity. Why advocating for change now when the puppet body language shows he Will not renew their oil blocks licence Why advocating for change now, when the puppet purchased equipment to monitor and reduce vandalism. Why advocating for change now, when the strong headed puppet wiped out their ghost names from the civil service pay roll. Why advocating for change now, when the puppet sacked your boys as corrupt ministers. Why advocating for change now, when the puppet refused to dump Sambo for another puppet. Why advocating for change when he refused to kill Nigerians indiscriminately. But rather he is exploiting all means of dialogue. Unlike your Odi brutal killings and destruction. Why advocating for change now, when the puppet refused to twist governors hands with EFCC to pave his way like you did. Why advocating for change now, when at 72 years, you still tell your children of 50years they are the leaders of tomorrow. Why advocating for change now, when the puppet refused to give you the fertilizer deal. Why advocating for change now, when the puppet refused to jail your enemies. Why advocating for change now, when the puppet refused to rig election for your daughter. Why advocating for change now, when in your time railways were not working. Why advocating for change, when in your time, our judiciary could not delivered a fair judgement in favour of oppositions. Baba,Nigerians are fed up of you sitting in Otta, deciding their future. We want to decide our destiny with the help of God(Allah). We want to practice true democracy by using our votes to decide our future. Let the good works or antecedents of our leaders speak volume for them. Just after the presidential chat with Mr.President, we discovered that, you, your colleagues, and errant boys, are spreading false informations to pave your way to aso rock. Lastly, I challenge you Baba, # Tinubu,# Atiku ,and others to tell Nigerians you don't have oil blocks. Or you guys are not fighting the last battle to protect your oil blocks. They won't come out and speak my brothers and sisters. They want us to believe they are fighting for us. When they have their own local refineries at their backyards. PoliticsRe: Obasanjo Is An Embarrassment To The Military - Nigeria Defence HQ by highmood(m): 6:48pm On Feb 16, 2015
calebo101:
Obasanjo is a pained man. He has lost everything and there's nothing left for him to hold on to if not to find a backdoor into the power house again. It's not unusual for old men to crave and cling on to power, especially African leaders, (Biya, Ghadaffi, Mugabe, et al). Obasanjo desperately needs power and that is his game plan.

I can understand Jonathan has completely frustrated him by making him entirely irrelevant in PDP and weeded all his allies away and that is seriously affecting Obasanjo. "He whom the gods want to destroy, they first make him mad".

A normal old Ex-leader should be a statesman and act as an advisory agent to the present leaders but Obasanjo can not do that because in the first place he has no Family to turn to. He is estranged with his children already after sleeping with his son's wife and the public disgrace meted out to him by his daughter.

To add insult to injury, the "clueless" one has taught him a very important lesson at his old age. Jonathan has checkmated him using Kashamu Buruji to limit his influence on South-West PDP, (talk of dog fighting dog). And his old nemesis, Tony Anenih is Jonathan's henchman. Jonathan has taken ALL from him and completely dismantled his structures. No political power anymore, and more painful no family to soothe him.

When Jonathan wins the election (it would hold and he will win!!!), he would have successfully pulled out the greatest coup and the real change in Nigeria's political history. The "clueless" one has stepped on lot of toes, looked at them eyeball to eyeball and dared them. Little wonder why the whole world is against him.

On March 28 a new dawn will emerge in Nigeria's history. The final departure from the scene of the old men that has refused to let Nigeria be, with Obasanjo and Buhari leading the failed packs.

APC can keep shouting change all they want and they can keep accusing PDP for 16 wasted years but the facts are barefaced, 80% or more of the erstwhile PDP members that destroyed Nigeria for years are now in the APC. The real change is Jonathan, the "clueless" one.
I so much love your write-up. Nairaland has made me learn so many things from different people and you are one. If Goodluck defeats them at the poll, Nigeria is free from those that have plunged us into sufferings. Unknowing to them, God is bringing them to the same ship called Ashiwaju Private Company(APC) to sink them forever. what will be left is for thier demise. We will give Goodluck that support.Nigeria must be free.

I stand by my original statement; the agric ministet is the only one with stellar performance.

Did I hear u say Petroleum and aviation?... mention one achievement of the petroleum minister other than conducting shady deals, diverting and conniving with NNpC and the oil cabals to divert billions, spending N10billion for hire and maintenance of a private jet (an amount which can buy several planes) and finally using 'strange powers' and diabolic court injunctions to stop the House of Reps from investigating her activities. Is that what a person calls achievement or performance?

Or you mentioned the aviation minister who spent indisclosed billions upon billions refurbishing airports but yet we have leaking roofs at the international arrival lounge of MMIA. Also after the billions spent on the enugu airport, all we have is a 'River Niger on the tarmac at the slightest rains... The same woman who illegally spent unappropriated funds to buy bullet proof vehicles at an overinflated rate, is that what you call stellar performance?

Then you mentioned Finance and you want to exonerate her because of the fall in oil prices which only started few months ago.... Did you read the writeup by Prof Soludo?... or are you one of those who thought it was too long or maybe you just dismissed it as propaganda without giving the hard facts and figures a thought?... or probably you are one of those who swallowed the 'biggest economy in africa' and '3rd highest GDP growth rate' facade which are very misleading indices that the govt has repeatedly used to deceive gullible people?

I am sorry to say but with the monumental depletion of our foreign reserves over the last 5 yrs and the astronomic increase in debts, coupled with the ever increasing poverty and unemployment figures, all these happening at a time the nation experienced a record 5 year oil boom, it is only fair to say the Finance team has the WORST performance of all the ministries and also has the worst record in the history of Nigeria (even worse than military regimes). I am tempted not to place the blame on finance minister because most of the indiscretions and recklessness was by the president, but there is something called 'resigning honorably' when ur boss' indiscretions affect your performance and your reputation.
you talk about the petroleum minister, now the use of private jet has already been in NNPC before she became a minister so I don't see why her case should be exception and base on the activities of NNPC, the ministers cannot be boarding commercial flight. On the issue of 10billion, it started from about 50billion to 10billion and PWC now said its about 1.4 billion. Now you should understand that, no ministry or organization is free of leakeages. The bigger the organization the bigger the leakages though I am not justifying leakeages. One of her achievement is the PIB which is lying in the house of assembly. I which you can force your representatives be it APC or PDP to pass it for us to see changes in that sector. Also unlike in the past where queues are seen in our stations almost every month, today, its just pockets of queues.
Now no matter how you paint the past aviation minister, the achievement she recorded have not been recorded since the building of the airports even if it is just painting them. And mind you, it was the FEC and the house that approves the fund used for the renovations, she didn't just dip her hands and took the money. I wish you could see the state of our airports before they were renovated. And for the present minister, through is safety efforts, Nigeria has been rated higher in terms of safety. Go and verify.
for the minister of finance, through her relentless efforts, so many ghost workers was deleted from Federal government payroll. She have been managing the economy right until this free fall of oil price. You talk of depletion of the foreign reserves. Please ask your governors why the requested that the excess crude reserves be shared to them for development that it is thier money. Many you should ask your governors what they did with the money. Nigeria is a mono economy and anything that happens to crude affects us, why not ask the past leaders what effort they took to diversify the economy. Note GEJ is gradually diversifying the economy through the support of the agriculture and industrialization. And the first thing to do is unbundling the power sector which OBJ spent billions but no improvement. Another is the construction of roads, rail and communication and other infrastructures. And you talk about Soludo, he is from my LG area but then he should tell us apart from changing the currency and margin banks, what did he do? For him, he is simply aggrieved that PDP denied him of the governorship ticket and APGA won. You said there was booms in 5 years, what did OBJ do with the booms? Stealing the amount he wanted and dropping peanuts for gullibles like you to think he is saving for us while roads are bad, people are hungry, schools are not built and strikes every day? How can you be a rich daddy while your children are wearing tattered clothes? Later man. Don't be sentimental and don't sheepishly follow the bandwagon, get facts and move around. Have a nice day.

what are you saying. Don't be clearly bias. What about works, trade and investment, petroleum, aviation, even finance(not withstanding the fall in crude oil that is testing her knowledge and experience) but for labour, power, communication technology, defence and some others, honestly am not impressed. The painful is the power ministry. I see Nebo as not so experience compared to his predecessor Prof. Bath Nnaji. He always complain of sabotage. PoliticsRe: Jonathan Afraid Buhari Will Jail Him — Obasanjo by highmood(m): 2:26pm On Feb 15, 2015
The story of Obasanjo is like the story of Saul and David, when God turned against Saul and gave David victory over Israel's enemies and the women where single and praising David. Obasanjo is simply envious of the successes recorded by president Jonathan so far. He fears that if this transformation continues, he would be completely irrelevant in Nigeria; which he is fast becoming. But Obj and his supporters should note one thing, the seat of Aso Rock has been taken away from them long ago, so no amount of blackmail will make GEJ loose. The earlier the OBJ and his supporters realize this, the better for them. The story of what happened to saul continued in the book of Samuel. And for Buhari, he won't get there talk less of jailing GEJ. He is been fronted to grab power for the north by some power-hungry fanatic elites of the northern extraction.
