SweetBoyFriend:
No need to monitor them.
They're like our brothers in Anambra state, they don't cause havoc.

In Awka etiti alone, i have more than 50 Fulani friends.
In Nnobi, i have 20 Fulani friends.
In ugwuoba Awka, i have more than 120 Fulani friends.
In Amansea, I have 20 Fulani friends.

They even speak igbo pass some igbo people wey live for Lagos.

We can't do without the Fulani with The type of business we run in some part of Anambra state
Anybody that knows Awka etiti and ugwuoba knows that it's the highest cattle market in Nigeria apart from Gamboru ngala
I believe you read what happened in akokwa in imo state, a neighboring town of Umuchu in Anambra state. So the Hausas or Fulanis can't be trusted a bit.
PoliticsRe: FG Sets To Rehabilitate Enugu-onitsha Expressway by highmood(m): 9:03am On Aug 15, 2016
Why is it, if it's the Eastern roads, it will be PPP but for other roads especially those in the north, you hardly hear PPP? Enugu-Onitsha will be tolled, the proposed Niger Bridge and it's road will also be tolled etc. Are the easterners not part of the entity called Nigeria which provides basic amenities virtually free to the north and other southern states? When the easterners cry marginalization, I could see what they really mean.
PoliticsRe: Solomon Asemota Accuses Buhari Of Appointing Islamist Jihadists by highmood(m):
sobmos:
I rarely talk on this forum even though I've been on it for a very long time( 2006 actually). But I'll use this medium to tender my reserved apology to the previous administration of Nigeria for campaigning against you and campaigning for this clueless administration of APC, I thought buhari was the true change we desired,I never knew we were moving from frypan to fire. I passionately championed the campaign for change in my area area, social media and any chance I get I shout Sai baba to the heavens. We need a revolution in this country. That's the only thing that would stop this nonsensical happenings in this country, how can a president be so biased as to appoint over 88% of his cabinet to be from north? Isn't that against the spirit of One Nigeria? Now I'm beginning to understand why people like nnamdi Kanu and the boys of Niger delta wants us to divide... This country is so dead and buried. Only a true revolution will solve our problems. That's the only lasting solution to this scam called Democracy in Nigeria.
Sometimes I laugh at your likes(no insult). I believe you are so familiar with the proverbs " what an elder sees while sitting down...." Before all these, some Yoruba elders were at the forefront campaigning against the incumbent President, but many were adamant. Some would say the Ibos hates the incumbent for no reason but out of sentiments, but I tried to judge the Ibos based on this word " once beaten, twice shy". The Ibos were well beating when President Buhari was a military head of state which he is repeating again with the nature of his appointment; that beating has not been soothed over time except when GEJ was the president. Though only but a few Ibos voted for GMB compared to other regions but to an extent the ibos I would say are having the last laugh. I wish your likes would save yourselves the shame. Yesterday it was Gani's son, today it's yours (smile). You called for revolution, I am looking forward to your likes to champion that cause to show how powerful the people could be in putting and bring down those in authority. I wish the president would listen(but I doubt) and bring in different brains from different regions and tribes to move this country forward. I kinda commend president GEJ, though he is not perfect but there were some intelligent minds in his administration that really worked for the masses irrespective of the allegations on some of them. Akinwumi Adesina(Agriculture), Finance Minister (irrespective of how some people saw this woman), minister of works, minister of commerce and investment etc really tried. I just wish the incumbent the best but his loathe for other tribes and religions is visible. One question that keeps coming to me is whether buhari is a good administrator or not. Compared to Fashola as a past governor and a good administrator who listens and surrounded himself with brilliant mind, GMB who for me is not a good administrator and have not been favored in running the affairs of the country, should try as much as possible to draw close to him brilliant minds irrespective of tribe or religion following due process to build a better Nigeria else his administration after its first term may be classified as another failure by impatient Nigerians.

PoliticsRe: 'Why Always Remi Tinubu?' - Dino Melaye Takes Another Swipe At Tinubu's Wife by highmood(m): 1:42pm On Aug 08, 2016
sagacitytunday:
I've consciously restrained myself from making comments on this Senators Remi/Dino' saga because I always want to stand and protect the rights of women, but at this junction, we should call a spade a spade.

The Stance of my APC friends on this issue is very annoying and if there's anything I detest about APC, it's hypocrisy. If Nigeria doesn't kill hypocrisy, hypocrisy will kill Nigeria.

Senator Dino is a personality that's very popular for his intermittent display of the five minutes madness syndrome, right from his days as a member of the House of Rep. This was well celebrated by the APC and he was a Hero during the GEJ era!

Senator Remi Tinubu on the other hand was the First lady of Lagos State for eight years and she returned to the Senate for a second term, not forgetting her husband has been in the corridors of power from time immemorial. For a personality in her position, who has been a VIP for a long time, her unruly behaviour in the Senate is not only worrisome, uncalled for, but a disgrace to whatever she represent. Haba, is she the only woman senator in the Senate? From Obanikoro, to Saraki, to Ekwermadu and now Dino, in sane Clime's, people would have demanded for her resignation.

There's time for everything. If she desired to be the Senate President, she should wait for her time. Lagos belongs to the Tinubus', so if she's willing, she can return to the Senate every four years like Senator David Mark, until she becomes the SP. She should be cautioned, because to every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction. Everyone cannot be a gentleman like Saraki, Obanikoro and the rest. If she has an unruly tongue, somebody possess an unruly behaviour. Hers is the first case of a woman throwing all caution into the wind as a legislator in Nigeria. She should be a good Ambassador of her party, the womanhood and her husband who's a National leader of their party.

My grandmother once told me a story..... My grandfather was the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti.... The Late Anirare Aladesanmi. She said there was a particular day, a boy and his parents were brought to the Palace to be punished for insulting the king. On getting to the Ewi, a man who will never justify the wicked nor punished the innocent, asked that the boy should be given the opportunity to speak before he pronounces judgement on him and his family. The boy began by telling the gathering how the Prince (the Ewi' son, who were worshipped like gods those days) started by insulting and cursing his father, the boy reiterated that when he couldn't withstand the abuse on his father, he too cursed the father of the Prince. The Ewi asked his son if the boy lied and the Prince responded that he was the first to curse the boy's father. My grandfather told the gathering that a father is a father, king or not, that since his son was the first to curse another person' father, the boy too possess the right to curse the Prince' father, irrespective of who the father may be. He asked that the boy and his family be released while his son should be severely dealt with, for having the effrontery to insult the father of the boy. She said, thereafter, no Prince or Princess dared go out of the Palace to misbehave.

Morals: If the King had praised his son and punished the boy and his family, other Princes and Princesses would have followed suit. Till date, the Aladesanmis are well respected wherever they are mentioned or appear.

At a time in this country, Patience Jonathan was a personality the APC insulted and ridiculed everyday. GEJ never reacted to qny insult on him and his family. Someone even called her Shepopotamus and the APC celebrated him, what goes around comes around.

Imagine poking her hand in the face of a colleague, someone's husband and father! If we continue to celebrate this, it's a disgrace to womanhood. A woman of her calibre should be reserved, cool&calculated, comported, a role model and not confrontational, impatient, violent or provocative.

Senator Bola Tinubu should caution her, because a child that goes out insulting other people's parents (Yoruba's call them Omo atiro) will succeed in taking curses and insults back to his parents. Respect is reciprocal, so is insults and violence!

The APC on the other hand should save the country, this dramas and national embarrassments. Nigerians are hungry and not bored. Enough of the Nollywood, Africa Magic scenarios between the Executive and the Legislative. Instead of addressing the economic woes of the country, the ruling party is engaged in disgraceful power tussle, from inception till date.

It's glaring Nigerians made the greatest mistake of the century, the day they adopted this negative party, with negative change, offering negative solutions to the challenges of the country.

Senator Dino Melaye, get a medical expert on the treatment to your five minutes madness malady. It's becoming unbecoming.

Wetin be my own sef?
Eran Oba lo mu isu Oba je.
APC vs APC....... All na change!!!
Good write-up Bro. You have said it all. I have learnt so much from your educative and moral write up. "But I no be tinubu wife oh!".

No be only show down! Now they can feel the heat of criticism and the power of social media. The youths are wise, so may people are as well. These northern youths should note that no one is scared of anyone from anywhere any longer. They should just tell the president the truth else if this country collapses,it's not only on me. They will also suffer.

They should also note that some of those "representing themselves or us" are simply there for thier selfish gains and thier voices may change nothing.

You have a point! But on the contrary, those already employed would still have applied if its done online, thereby reducing the chances of those unemployed to be selected.
how many will they be? Its easier to identify them by electronically sorting them out than allowing a applicants send in thier resumes manually when we all know many may not due to time, distance and money.

That's how institution/commision recruit, they love the method of applying in person. Majority of Nigeria University use this method. Don't you know that its an avenue to limit the number of applicant because of proximity.
and is that fair when so many qualified individuals who may have be disadvantaged for one reason or the other can easily do that at the comfort of thier homes. Meanwhile we all know most of those resumes will be dumped in the refuse been.

Well by the end of next year, the people of Anambra will assess and compare the performance of their governor as well as the APC govt at the federal level. Thier judgment will be seen clearly after their votes must have been counted. Anambarians gets wiser each day, they can't see a technocrat and go for a slowpoke.

The Akwa Ibom community unfortunately may not win this one. The body lies in Idanre and it won't be released. They should just let sleeping dogs lie, bury their kin and afterwards ensure the tree cutter is prosecuted. Its unfortunate that's what happens when you live in another man's land. You need to abide by the rules considering you are now a "2nd class citizen" of the State. Life happens. RIP Justina
I pity the idanre community that insist the corpse will not be taken home for proper burial. Its risky for them.

It's funny you discarded the points he raised while focusing on inconsequential maths. I served in one of these oil communities and I can confidently say leadership at community level is one of the major things causing unrest in that region. The FG cannot be left out too.
now you are making a point. I served in one of those communists in Ogbia and I passed through the narrow swampy road beside those oil wells in oloibiri to my PPA. Its just two route to my PPA; one is through the creek that takes up to 1hr30mins while the other is the swampy bush part takes almost the same time depending on the season. So, I have been and heard from some repented militants and thier elders in that community where I served. The government both federal, state and local government are first guilty of negligence. I really pitied that community members. It is a case of the Rich also Cry. If the government at all levels had wanted to develop those communities they can but they took the easier option of bribing the leaders just to drill the oil.
EducationRe: 5 Categories Of People That Say "Education Does Not Guarantee Success" by highmood(m): 7:49am On Jul 23, 2016
virud:
For starters, there are broadly two forms of education; formal (conventional primary, secondary and university institutions of learning ) and informal (petty trading, apprenticeship etc ) education. For the records, success is not tied to any particular form of education.

Success as far as am concerned is a relative term, the accomplishment of an aim or purpose, and it is not tied to one particular event. Education and success are very different phenomenon. Any attempt to mix both is usually catastrophic.

On the other hand, Education is the the process of receiving or giving systematic instruction. By this simple definition, every person you've met seems to have attained a level / degree of education.

Education and success, what is the correlation, if any?
Now if education to you means seeing the four walls of a conventional university, secondary or primary institution, then, I make bold to say that your brand of education is not important to achieving success. Simply because education and literacy are not correlated.

Be that as it may, Education is very important to both your personal and professional life, in a number of significant ways! Depending on the level of success you’re seeking to achieve, the level of education may be relative, but the bottom line is, an education of some sort is often paramount to future success. And everyone is by some deliberate means educated. There's no such thing as illiteracy.

Everyone has got some sort of education, and am not being philosophical, I mean it literally. If you doubt, sight an example of anyone / group of persons you think are 'illiterates' and I would gladly point out their education.
Nice write up, but I will simply put it thus: Education( formal or informal) is a means to an End(Success). its not an End by itself neither does it guarantee ones success.

Hi, can you recommend creams that can lighten dark skin ? At least worth 10k, wanna get for a friend plz
I just bump into this post right now and fortunately I try to introduce veet gold pdcts to various customers as a cosmetician. For a dark skin to a moderate light skin, ask for carrot light lotion. Be sure the person wants to tone before giving the cream to the person. Its very active.
