The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has released photos showing properties allegedly owned by the immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose.
Spokesman for the Commission, Mr Wilson Uwujaren, sent copies of the pictures to OkayNG.com on Wednesday.
According to him, the properties were uncovered while the anti-graft agency was investigating the allegations of corruption against the former governor.
He alleged that Mr Fayose purchased the property with the money he purportedly received from the office of the former National Security Adviser, Retired Colonel Sambo Dasuki.
“In the course of investigating corruption allegations against ex-governor Ayodele Fayose, especially the N1.3billion which he collected from the office of the National Security Adviser, Col Sambo Dasuki, the Commission unearthed evidence that he laundered the funds into the acquisition of properties in choice locations in Abuja and Lagos,” Mr Wilson alleged.
The EFCC released the pictures a day after the former governor arrived at its head office in Abuja, in company with Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, and a former minister, Mr Femi Fani-Kayode, among other well-wishers.

Johnbosco77: Useless EFCC... Running after legit guys.. What has happened to Ganduje and his lots....
Ganduje is a governor. Immunity covers him, although it's gonna be difficult for EFCC to go after him when he leaves office because he's in APC. He has upper hands you know. Let's deal with the situation at hand

Aderewah: Lol. All of you shouting it's deep, you have some things to learn. Understand how the world works. It's all of a game of numbers. The more people that recognise you, the more money you have. Full stop. Get 1 million Nigerians to give you 1k each, that's a billion naira. There are footballers all over the world making less than a government worker in Nigeria. There are less than 500 footballers making insane money in the world. Compared to programmers, oil workers, large scale manufacturers, hedge fund managers, fintech guys, etc, footballers are poor. For instance, bill Gates makes $20m every day. That's Ronaldo's five months salary. Besides, everyone can't be rich. If everyone was rich, this world will have problem.
I rest my case.
Bros, the world has more problem now that everyone is not rich.
nobilie: Can you imagine the way he started. So, we should make you our SCR? In final year, you should have learnt good means of making small money. God help you as you locate someone who is torched. As for me, I'm not.
Chelsea82: Aaron Ramsey’s bond with this club was there for all to see on Sunday on an emotional final appearance for him at Emirates Stadium.
The Wales international will leave the club this summer to join Juventus, and received a rapturous reception from the Arsenal fans as he took part in a guard of honour.
“It's been a pretty emotional day,” Ramsey told Arsenal Player. “It's 11 years of my life that I have spent here and so much has happened to me on and off the field.
“I have really grown up here. I am just grateful for the opportunity to play for this club for such a long time.
“I’ve met so many great people here, made great friends and Arsene bringing me to the club and giving me that opportunity was pretty special.
“To last this long, at a club like this, is something in itself. That doesn't happen very often anymore, that's why it's so emotional and why the bond is so strong.
“I just want to say thank you very much for all the fans’ support over the years, there has been a few lows but lots of highs and the bond has been so strong because I have been here for such a long time and they have been with me through thick and thin, watching me go from a boy to man.”
Arsenal Celebrated Aaron Ramsey by thanking him for his commitment during his time with the club.
"For 11 years of service, for 369 appearances, for 64 goals, for 62 assists, for those Wembley winners, for coming back from that injury to achieve what you have with us, for EVERYTHING you’ve given to this club, we just want to say… THANK YOU, @aaronramsey! ❤️."

ogbiwa: Manchester United will have to settle for Europa League football next season after being held by a Huddersfield side who were relegated in March.
The Terriers had managed just four points in their previous 23 games - but watched by outgoing chairman Dean Hoyle, they earned a draw as Isaac Mbenza's first goal for the club levelled Scott McTominay's first-half effort.
In a frantic finish, young United substitute Tahith Chong had a shot saved and Paul Pogba hit the bar before David de Gea denied Karlan Grant a winner at the other end.
It means United have now gone five games without a win, their worst sequence since they went eight games without a victory under Louis van Gaal between November and December 2015.
The result means Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side cannot catch either Chelsea or Tottenham and have only a slim chance of finishing above Arsenal in fifth.
Alexis Sanchez is also a major doubt for the final game of the season against Cardiff at Old Trafford, having limped straight down the tunnel after suffering an injury at the start of the second half.
Huddersfield are 11 points adrift at the bottom of the table and finish their season at Southampton next Sunday. United remain sixth and entertain Cardiff.
Sanchez woes continue Sanchez was given his first start since 2 March as fellow strikers Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial were both missing through injury.
The Chilean is in the spotlight before a close season in which Solskjaer has already pledged extensive rebuilding.
For a basic salary in excess of £300,000 - there are also substantial add-ons - a return of one goal and three assists in the Premier League this season is woeful. In addition, Sanchez's salary is not helping United in their contract negotiations with players such as David de Gea, Juan Mata and Ander Herrera.
Yet again, Sanchez was on the periphery, making the odd decent contribution but nothing of great note until he succumbed to injury after 54 minutes. In contrast, both De Gea and Mata had a more meaningful impact.
De Gea, under scrutiny after a string of disappointing mistakes, twice saved well from Karlan Grant, whilst Mata was by far United's most creative player and almost set up an opportunity for Pogba to double United's lead.
Pogba hit the bar in each half with curling shots but he was another highly-paid member of the United squad whose overall impact failed to match his reputation.
Bumpy summer ahead for Man Utd? United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward was repeatedly shown looking stony-faced as the second half drew to a close - and with good reason. Home-grown McTominay, United's April player of the month, was again the visitors' outstanding performer.
There was more than an element of luck about the Scotland midfielder's goal as Huddersfield keeper Jonas Lossl completely failed to deal with his shot from just inside the penalty area but there was an industry about McTominay's performance that his team-mates clearly lacked.
What had, barely six weeks ago, looked like being a summer of promise for United, now looks fraught with problems.
And, should Watford defeat Manchester City in the FA Cup final to earn a place in the Europa League group phase, United's lucrative pre-season tour will need to be cut short.
That is because United would have to start in the second qualifying round in July, requiring them to play on the same day as they are scheduled to face Tottenham in a pre-season game in Shanghai.

'We don't deserve top four' - what they said
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer: "It hurts whenever you don't win a game of football. In a stadium like this with loads of energy, their last game of the season at home, we gave them some hope and we couldn't reach our level again.
"There was always going to be a period in this game Huddersfield would press us because of the energy of the crowd. We had a spell we couldn't get going, now its done, we're disappointed but we have to look forward.
"We haven't deserved to be top four, we've chased the pack and been given chances, the league is so tight. When we got the opportunities we weren't able to really grab them. In the end, the table doesn't lie.

jefff455: A former Governor of Rivers State and current Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has said that himself and other political leaders must asked God and the people of the state for forgiveness for things left undone and for the pain and anguish the people have “brazenly suffered.”
According to the Minister, the state, known as the Treasure Based of the Nation, is now almost always in the news for the wrong reasons.
He stated this on Sunday in his Easter message to Nigerians and Rivers people.
He urged Rivers people and other Nigerians to have hope and a renewed commitment to wait till the resurrection morning.
Amaechi said, “No doubt, our state has endured a tortuous political season, which saw political parties jostle and cajole Rivers people to make choices.
“Our state, which was known and respected as the Treasure Base of the Nation, is now almost always in the news for the wrong reasons. This is not the Rivers State of our dreams.
“We must find our way back to the path of a glorious future. I am one of you, therefore, as your father, son and brother, I beseech you to be of good courage and join hands to build and restore the glory of our state.
“For us as Rivers people, this is a moment for sober reflection and forgiveness.
“I will not hesitate to implore that we all ask God for forgiveness and mercy for all the things done or left undone and from the citizens for the pain and anguish that they have brazenly suffered, which most times are unreported.
“The persistence of gang violence, kidnappings and killings in parts of the state has dealt a telling blow on the psyche of the people. People no longer feel safe or sleep with their two eyes closed.”

EmagNig: Senegalese-American Entertainer, Akon has shared an interesting perspective on why Africa is better than America. According to the music mogul, it is the media that is portraying Africa in the negative light:
‘the images they show about Africa are so negative. It’s conditioning what we believe. Africa has a rich story too. More people died in Chicago, more school shootings in America" he said
He further stated in the video that Africans need to start telling their positive stories to their children and stop the spread of negative news about the continent, as the media are always quick to pick this up and spread further to the rest of the civilized world.
ogododo: Southampton were humiliated 1-3 by Liverpool the title contender. Gonzalo Higuain has struggled since signing on loan for Chelsea in January - netting only three goals since his move from Juventus.
Those three goals came against two sides that will be playing in the Championship next season in Huddersfield Town and Fulham and that just about sums up the Argentine's time in England so far.
He struggled against Cardiff City on Sunday and was dropped for the 3-0 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion with his replacement, Olivier Giroud, netting the first of the goals.
Maurizio Sarri is under no illusion that his striker needs to improve, he's said it a number of times in the past and most recently said it in his pre-West Ham United press conference, but he is also confident that Higuain can come good.

AreaNews: The All Progressive Congress (APC) and the winner of the February 23, 2019 Presidential Election, has filed a motion at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja that the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in the poll, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, is not a Nigerian and therefore not qualified to have stood for the election.
The Party claimed that the former Vice President is a Cameroonian and not a Nigerian citizen and his petition against President Muhammadu Buhari, its own candidate, should be dismissed for lacking in merit.
In a reply to the petition of Atiku and the PDP praying for their declaration as the lawful winner of the presidential poll, the APC said that the 11.1 million votes recorded in favor of the two petitioners should be voided and considered a waste by the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.
The APC’s reply to the petition, filed by its lead counsel, Lateef Fagbemi faulted the candidacy of Atiku in the election insisting that as a Cameroonian, he ought not to have taken part in the presidential poll of Nigeria in the first instance.
The Party averred that Atiku was born on November 25, 1946, in Jada, Adamawa, in Northern Cameroon and is, therefore, a citizen of Cameroon and not a Nigerian by birth.
