unfortunately unless the ticket is refundable you've lost out on all the money you'll need to book a flight with another airline most of them have routes that don't pass through the US, she can fly this weekend it's just a matter of how much you can afford as tickets are more expensive closer to when you book them. you're looking at like 1.6m+ your best bet is klm, qatar, egypt air. best of luck! Please my younger sister was to board Delta Airline flight to get to NL this night. But she was unable to board because she was told she needed a US transit visa. We don’t know how to go about the whole process. Please I need suggestions on how she can get another flight that would make her get to canada before weekend. Thank you all

1- you cannot work in canada until your program starts, doing that is a violation of your study permit and illegal anyone that did that likely did under the table jobs in other words illegal jobs and if found you will be deported and or banned from canada, there is a reason why they ask for so much pof during your application please don't go there without enough money to sustain you for at least a year.
2- fall term is from september to december , winter break is usually late december to early january; december 20-january 10 something like that then next term (winter)- january to april then the longest break(summer) late april to early september (ofcourse you can choose to study in your summer but it's best to use it to work as you can work an unlimited amount of hours during summer as opposed to fall and winter where you can only work 20 hours a week. as always check on your school website it will definitely be there.

If you want to cargo your items to Canada, I have a reliable cargo agency you can use. It's 2500 per kg. Delivers to Canada within 3 days. Less expensive than using airline my thought ooo

from what i've read they will either contact you and then you'll pay.or they will send your passport back unstamped my advice- keep on calling them and ask what to do or pay and send the proof in an email, but please call them and ask for more information first thing tomorrow or better yet go to the vfs office lagos

I submitted my passport to vfs Abuja and but did biometrics in Lagos. Just found out that I needed to pay a transmission fee. What’s going to happen to my file ... I’ve not been able to contact the vfs abj people . Anyone in this situation before or knows what to do?

she may not, my friend travelled about 2 weeks ago and was denied entry at the MMA by nigerian officers luckily she was able to contact her school and get it in time for her flight. i think it's another attempt at extortion by officers but still better safe than sorry she should get it there's still time

yes you can you'll just need to pay an extra 10,410 to vfs and you'll pay more to your courier servicer for out of state delivery i paid about 18,500 for two way courier

if you didn't do biometrics in abuja both of you will pay 10,400 each, the 18k is the cost to ship your passport 2- way courier via dhl and that will also be paid twice i think, when you get there ask them to be sure

Great thing was that I equally did it all for my best friend and they approved his own too.

I submitted to Abuja on Wednesday but did biometric in Lagos paid #9410 to sterling bank and attached the teller to my document which was delivered to Abuja VFS on Thursday, passport was stamped on Friday and was dispatched same Friday and delivered to my home address today. I paid #18,425 to DHL for a two way delivery.

please is it possible to send my passport to abuja for stamping when i reside and did my biometrics in lagos? i understand abuja is faster.

i doubt an agent that is trying to be shady and untruthful will give you any of your details but try anyways and be very insistent if she still refuses you need to have her arrested. and you need to do that fast

If you won't have access to any other things, you should know your UCI number and application number.

Kindly ask for the Confirmation of Application Submission letter and Biometric Letter. You should have access to these two documents. You should also ask for the screenshot of your application profile page.

Also, you should have only one application number (Sxxxxxxx in a case of study visa, Exxxxxxx for Express Entry, Vxxxxxxx for visit visa etc) and a UCI number for an application.

OFCOURSE!! and do that quickly because you'll only be given a visa up until jan 23, the stress will be too much.

Biometrics : 25th February, 2022
Upfront Medicals updated to pass : 21st April, 2022
Eligibility Review started: 16th May,2022
Correspondence Letter( BVL): 13th July,2022
PPR: 15th July, 2022

yes it is possible to replace one but the process is extremely long and from what i'm seeing you'll need to mail the application look on their website here there are instructions https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=045, https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/application-verification-status-replacement-immigration-document.html there is also a fee attached.
As your application for a replacement can be denied keep looking very thoroughly for the passport, i think you will also need to get another passport in the mean time.

why not just do mybankstatement it will just be 1 page and it will come directly from the bank i feel it's risky because if it's not clear it could lead to delay and you'll have more space to include other things and no monday is not too far

technically yes but it is highly unlikely , to avoid rush work you should defer so that you won't have to send them another letter of acceptance.

it is going to be very very difficult to convince the vo that your friend will sponsor you you will need to write a very convincing sop and letter of sponsorship as this is a 3rd party sponsor and not even a strong one at that because your friend has his own responsibilities too, some questions you will need to answer-why is your friend sponsoring you?, is he married?, any kids?, what is his source of income? any business/staff expenses?, does he have enough money to take care of you AND himself? why are your parents,siblings,family not sponsoring you? the 7m you have will help your case i think.
does this friend have a history of helping you out financially? how long have you known each other? you will need to provide evidence that you've known yourselves a longggg time, of that benefit is this degree to him? the vo needs to see this degree as a reasonable expense.
but my advice would be have your friend transfer some money to you and have it sit there for some time allocated to your tuition, also have him pay your deposit it's very important that HE does it not you since he's the main sponsor
