PoliticsRe: We’ll Never Hang Buhari’s Portrait In Our Offices –PDP by hinwazaka: 7:56am On Sep 09, 2015
The fact is that PMB, is not the leader of the PDP, and there is no provision in the constitution, that makes it mandatory for an OPPOSITION party to display the portrait of the president, since the offices of the opposition parties are not public institutions. We are no longer under the military. But I think he should have just evaded the question, because of the sentimental value attached to it.

PoliticsRe: ECONOMIC DISASTER!! Nigeria Kicked Out Of Bond Index by hinwazaka: 7:27am On Sep 09, 2015
It's so funny, that while the CBN and the FG, believe that market liquidity is gaining, the actual truth is that every monetary policy by the CBN, since May 29, has actually decreased liquidity in the markets and the financial institutions, by failing to increase the amount of cash the banks and financial institutions are supposed to have, aside that they can borrow to the public, despite the fact that their policies have reduced the amount of cash at hand for the populace. This directive by JP Morgan, and many more to come, will finally send our economy over the edge, thereby leaving the CBN, with no choice than to accede to the President's wishes to turn the pattern of our economy from a capitalist system to a central controlled economy. This will invariably kill Nigeria.

Learn about the history of the individuals I listed. Their popularity was multifaceted. To some sections of their country, they were terrific leaders, to others they were seen as butchers and thieves. Just like GEJ.

Our dear President served in three administration's, included in the years mentioned by Igali. He and his colleagues in those years failed to implement measures to reform the sector. Now he is once more in the throes of power, and people still believe he can effect a change. You cannot spend 100kobo and then expect $5 as change

The fact that just the mention of GEJ on a thread brings 100's of posts, both supporters and critics is a testament of the success of GEJ.
Obj with all his scandals and drumbeating did not attract as much attention after his tenure as the man from the little known fisherman village. When PMB, ends his tenure in 2019, we will see how much attention he can draw from the public after he has relocated to Daura

Jonathan is the clown who doesn't even know he is clowning. That he even has a PhD despite his obvious mental and intellectual handicap, shows that studying a course doesn't make you knowledgeable in other matters.

Oh the Obama administration surely did insult the irresponsible Bush administration.

Sec. of state Hillary Clinton once remarked that the Obama administration in pursuing its own foreign policy that the GOP needlessly criticised, haven't had shoes thrown its way (a clear reference to Bush ducking the shoe thrown by an Iraqi journalist when Bush visited the country in his latter days).

The Bush supporters were just like you - very bitter the GOP lost the election to a black man. Their racist political rallying cry was "taking our country back".
The democrats had to remind them from time to time that the gasping economy was the inherited legacy from the previous clueless "rich boys only" administration of the GOP.

Jonathan has since admitted on the campaign trail that he also made many people billionaires and millionaires. However the masses were never given a reprieve.
Perhaps, you don't know the difference between a sly remark, a pun and an insult.
Also, the erstwhile Sec. state of the US government, spoke too soon. If you were watching the news you would have seen the story on a Korean who viciously attacked the ambassador to Korea, with a knife, slashing his face. That is why, I said it is suicidal for a successor to attack his predecessor.

Do you people realise that he is no more the President. The man in the spotlight now is PMB. And so far, he is not doing so good. From the moment, Obama resumed office till this day, neither him nor his supporters have made the ignominious mistake of insulting his predecessor. Grow up.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Sliding Into Dictatorship – PDP Governors by hinwazaka: 5:48pm On Sep 08, 2015
The PDP governors are incorrect. The government is not sliding into dictatorship, its already a dictatorship. What should one call what transpired last week at the Akwa Ibom state house. Our what do you call a government which ran its affairs for a period of three months, without any SGF, COS and executive council. What do you call a government with the executive President, head of the electoral body and the head of its apex security outfit, all coming from the same family. If to the PDP governors, this sounds like a semi-dictatorial government, then they need to have their heads examined. We are already in India, not near India.

PoliticsRe: Buhari’s 100 Days Of Incompetence And Abject Failure, By Femi Aribisala by hinwazaka: 3:55pm On Sep 08, 2015
GEJ in his first 100 days, reviewed the NYSC monthly allocation upward, from a stipend of 9000naira to an amount of 19,500 naira.
PMB, in his first 100 days, could only manage a visit to the NYSC, to PROMISE a discussion into making the service a optional choice with a vocational programme as an alternative.
Yusuf Ahmed of the APC, BOT said on ChannelsTV, sunrise daily, that they are still operating under the 2014 budget and so can only make changes when the budget of 2015 is passed.
Did GEJ wait for the budget of 2012 to be passed before effecting a CHANGE

On The Platform, on Raypower 100.5fm, this issue was discussed, so the OP knows what he is saying. Its becoming very obvious that the President, is a con artist and had on a cloak of purity, during the elections just so as to emerge the winner. Now, he has decided to show his true colours. We are in for more surprises as the day goes by. When the monster comes of age, I hope those who claim he can do no wrong, will own up to their mistakes.

* A few good men

APC
* No country for old men
* The old man and the sea

SLS's case comes to mind. Remember how GEJ reacted when he became a whistle-blower?
And he was acknowledged credit for his supposed "UNSELFISH" act to the nation. So, you are arguing from the point that he shouldn't have exposed the supposed corruption, so as to keep his job. The idea behind whistleblowing is to show your moral values, not to leapfrog in the organisation you work at.

PoliticsRe: How Katsina Governor, Scammed Buhari To Get N11 Bn Bailout - Premium Times by hinwazaka: 1:40pm On Sep 08, 2015
This helps to espouse the notion I had earlier on expressed, that the bailout brouhaha was a scam initiated by the various governors( both PDP &APC) to recover the flagrant wastage of resources they garnished on the elections. This is synonymous with the ECA debacle which plagued the dispensation of GEJ. But unlike our present desperate President, who sacrificed his integrity and dignity for a pot of porridge, GEJ, stuck to his guns, and almost won, with the help of his brilliant finance minister, NOI, but for the weakness of the courts and the ignorance of the populace. Our dear President, on the other hand jumped at the offer, with no hesitation, and thus presented the governors with a blank cheque. This conjecture of the Katsina govenor's impropriety, is just a tip of the iceberg. There are some other outrageous scammers like the Edo state govenor, who coerced the President, into helping him acquire an outrageous sum of money, under the guise of a world bank loan for the "altruistic " execution of projects.
Under, this President, we will witness, the worst case of embezzlement and corruption, like we have never seen before. The truth will always sneak to the surface, no matter, how hidden it is at the roots.

Can all those poorly educated folks up there see the highlighted part of the article in bold and shut up for good?

If you are so badly educated that you can not comprehend a simple article, then you will probably be too dumb to understand process of large project management that ordinarily should have made you known that start of planning stage alone of this project can not be later than 2008 (OBJ's tenure) , and can as well be much earlier by only God knows how many years.

It gets really annoying with these dimwits who flood here daily and talk rubbish whereas the ab.oki herbadasher with a transistor radio is better informed than they are.
The fact that you failed to comprehend basic English, is shocking. It was clearly indicated in the article that construction and development started in 2010. There is no information in OBJ's tenure that alludes to the construction of a world trade center. If there was, the loudmouthed OBJ would have shouted it to the world. keep off this forum, if you don't know how to READ.

Whistleblower: noun/ a person who informs people in authority or the public that the company they work for is doing something wrong or illegal.
Mr Kolade, why didn't you make your knowledge of the illegality of the committee's affairs known to the public, while you were still in service of the committee. Also, it won't be too much to ask, of you to show DOCUMENTATIVE evidence, of the corrupt and illegal activities perpetuated by elements of the committee.
Mr Kolade, you were compelled to resign, because of your kleptomaniac behaviour, but because of your "good name" the government kept this quiet.
